Le Petit Wellington, créé par Alveera, est l'œuvre d'une jeune femme dont l'amour et la passion pour la cuisine simple l'ont inspirée à lancer la Cantine Gastronomique d'Alveera. While irradiating a hole in the wall aura, this humble restaurant offers a simple but delicious menu of burgers, fries, poutines, & a few other items. The menu is tight, the choices may be few, but you are guaranteed tasty freshness in both ingredients & preparation.
The poutines & burgers are really good & prices are decent. As of the time of writing this review, the house offers a soup, fries, smash burger & a soda can for 13,99$. Good value.
The place is clean & offers comfortable seats. The clientele is typical'Verdun' but it leads an extra eccentric charm to the place.
It took me 15 years to come here, I plan to make it a regular haunt.
The food was amazing ! I especially loved the smash burgers, they were so good with just the right amount of sauce so it doesn't become soggy. Staff is also very kind & welcoming . Can't wait to come back & try the steak poutine !
I had such a great experience at Le Petit Wellington! The hospitality really stood out-while we were waiting for our food, they kindly offered us soup, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The food itself was fantastic. I highly recommend the smash burger & the poutine both were absolutely delicious.
Delicious, reasonable price, the owners gave a nice healthy little soup while waiting. Tried both a smashburger & the tandoori chicken salad; both were simple & excellent. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Quel petit bijou! Les employés sont d'une grande gentillesse, le restaurant est très propre & tout est délicieux! La soupe aux lentilles & légumes en entrée est réconfortante, le sous-marin au steak est rempli d'ingrédients frais & savoureux, le smash burger est très bon & les frites aussi. De plus, les prix sont très raisonnables! Ça sera notre nouveau « spot » quand on a envie d'un bon repas réconfortant. 😊
Every single time we go service & food are on point. Today my son went & he told me that they were vraiment gentil avec moi. Their smash burger & poutine are next level :)
Anciennement le Laterna qui faisait plus snack bar style Valentine ou Lafleur, le Petit Wellington se dit une cantine gastronomique &... ce n'est pas faux! Le décor est agréable. Les banquettes sont conviviales &'tranquilles'. Le menu est très restreint mais ce n'est pas un défaut. Au contraire! Spécialisez-vous & devenez champion dans votre niche? Rien contre ça! Le service est impeccable & la nourriture est savoureuse. J'ai pris le Smash burger Wellington. Deux boulettes, bacon, fromage & légumes? Copieux & savoureux avec la sauce smash. Les frites sont incluses,... & même une soupe du jour en entrée qui, ma fois, était excellente & réconfortante. Je n'hésiterais pas à recommander... & à y retourner! Très heureux de cette découverte.
Seriously the most incredible food & service. So happened to stumble upon this place by accident & fell in love with the food immediately. Best smash burgers anyone, oh & the lentil soup is heavenly! The staff are so wonderful & kind!
A small restaurant that deserves to be known. Very good smash burgers, ordered on-site, piping hot & delicious, & a free homemade soup. Very friendly & highly appreciated. I love it & recommend it 100%!

Great place & very friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the soup, popcorn chicken poutine, & Caesar salad. Smash burger & fries well made. This place is a gem.
Very good resto! Their combo special comes with a warm hearty bowl of soup to start, the smash burger tastes like good beef & the atmosphere was quite lovely. The man serving was a shy & very polite man who was happy to see we enjoyed our food!

Fries are decent, not really seasoned so add some salt & pepper yourself.
Wonderful hospitality at this cute place. I wasn't hungry but the owner still gave my friend & I delicious complimentary soup. The smash burger was looking delicious & tasting authentic, & the owner & service is so pleasant & kind. Feels like you're eating at home.

10/10. If you are looking for a place to eat some good poutine, this is the spot!! It was super fresh & tasty. I also ate their soup & smash burger & it was great. They greeted me with the best hospitality. Will be coming back when I'm in the area again.
The smash burger was amazing & is probably the best in Montreal. Additionally to the smash burger we got legume soup. The owner was very kind & attentive. Definitely a recommend & we will visit again.
A very family friendly restaurant, staff is super nice & they always give a smile to put on a face . I definitely recommend especially the soup of the day & the smash burger!!
