Le Petit Wellington, créé par Alveera, est l'œuvre d'une jeune femme dont l'amour et la passion pour la cuisine simple l'ont inspirée à lancer la Cantine Gastronomique d'Alveera. Cette réinterprétation moderne de la cantine traditionnelle propose une approche fast-casual, avec des smash burgers, poutines, salades et des plats classiques revisités.
Le Petit Wellington propose un menu restreint mais axé sur les smash burgers, les poutines, les frites et une soupe réconfortante, avec des ingrédients frais et une préparation généralement bien maîtrisée qui reçoit les éloges pour les saveurs et la générosité. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et conviviale, l'endroit est propre, et le personnel est décrit comme sympathique avec des gestes attentionnés comme une soupe offerte en attendant, reflétant une ambiance familiale, des portions généreuses et des prix raisonnables. Bien que quelques avis évoquent des barrières linguistiques ou des préoccupations occasionnelles sur la propreté, le sentiment global reste très positif et le lieu est souvent présenté comme une pépite cachée et une valeur sûre pour un repas réconfortant.
We've been here three times in the last two days… & we're already planning to go back again.
The food is amazing, the service is great, & the price point makes it even better.
I originally ordered the bacon burger, & honestly-it's the best smashburger I've ever had.
I didn't realize it came with soup, & I was a little hesitant at first because I'm pretty picky about soup-but wow. It's packed with flavor & ended up being the perfect addition to the meal.
The chicken sandwich is also really good. It has a thin, slightly sweet BBQ sauce that makes it stand out from other chicken sandwiches.
The poutine steak fries are delicious, & the regular fries are absolutely perfect, in my opinion.
We (4 of us) ate here tonight & wow the food was so amazing!! The soup to start was just fabulous! Our smash burgers were extremely tasty along with the delicious fries! We will for sure be back!! Prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend!
Tried Le Petit Wellington & honestly, such a solid little spot.
For $13, you get a soup, a soft drink, a small portion of fries, & a smash burger - which is actually a really good deal for what you're getting. Everything tasted fresh & made-to-order, & I loved that it's an open concept kitchen so you can literally watch them cook your food right in front of you.
We didn't stay long & just split the burger to try it out, but it definitely hit. Simple, well done, & no fuss.
Would come back for sure next time we're in the area

Le Petit Wellington is a successful rebranding of Wellington Street's classic Laterna snack bar.
While irradiating a hole in the wall aura, this humble restaurant offers a simple but delicious menu of burgers, fries, poutines, & a few other items. The menu is tight, the choices may be few, but you are guaranteed tasty freshness in both ingredients & preparation.
The poutines & burgers are really good & prices are decent. As of the time of writing this review, the house offers a soup, fries, smash burger & a soda can for 13,99$. Good value.
The place is clean & offers comfortable seats. The clientele is typical'Verdun' but it leads an extra eccentric charm to the place.
It took me 15 years to come here, I plan to make it a regular haunt.
Really nice restaurant with a warm & welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly & seated us promptly. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary soup, which was delicious, as well as free bottles of water. The burger & steak poutine were both very good & well prepared. Overall, a great experience,would definitely recommend this place.
A small restaurant that deserves to be known. Very good smash burgers, ordered on-site, piping hot & delicious, & a free homemade soup. Very friendly & highly appreciated. I love it & recommend it 100%!

First time here! I was greeted with smiles & great service. Sat down & was served this delicious soup free of charge! The burger was perfect, juicy & flavorful. Fries were crispy & seasoned well. I'll definitely be coming back for more!
Great place & very friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the soup, popcorn chicken poutine, & Caesar salad. Smash burger & fries well made. This place is a gem.

Wonderful hospitality at this cute place. I wasn't hungry but the owner still gave my friend & I delicious complimentary soup. The smash burger was looking delicious & tasting authentic, & the owner & service is so pleasant & kind. Feels like you're eating at home.
