Le Petit Wellington, créé par Alveera, est l'œuvre d'une jeune femme dont l'amour et la passion pour la cuisine simple l'ont inspirée à lancer la Cantine Gastronomique d'Alveera. Cette réinterprétation moderne de la cantine traditionnelle propose une approche fast-casual, avec des smash burgers, poutines, salades et des plats classiques revisités.
Le Petit Wellington propose un menu restreint mais axé sur les smash burgers, les poutines, les frites et une soupe réconfortante, avec des ingrédients frais et une préparation généralement bien maîtrisée qui reçoit les éloges pour les saveurs et la générosité. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et conviviale, l'endroit est propre, et le personnel est décrit comme sympathique avec des gestes attentionnés comme une soupe offerte en attendant, reflétant une ambiance familiale, des portions généreuses et des prix raisonnables. We've been here three times in the last two days… & we're already planning to go back again.
The food is amazing, the service is great, & the price point makes it even better.
I originally ordered the bacon burger, & honestly-it's the best smashburger I've ever had.
I didn't realize it came with soup, & I was a little hesitant at first because I'm pretty picky about soup-but wow. It's packed with flavor & ended up being the perfect addition to the meal.
The chicken sandwich is also really good. It has a thin, slightly sweet BBQ sauce that makes it stand out from other chicken sandwiches.
The poutine steak fries are delicious, & the regular fries are absolutely perfect, in my opinion.
Best smash burgers + service on Wellington for the best price. My go to for burgers. Been nearly 10 times in the past year or so & the consistency is top notch. Great soup as well while you wait. Highly recommend 🔥
We (4 of us) ate here tonight & wow the food was so amazing!! The soup to start was just fabulous! Our smash burgers were extremely tasty along with the delicious fries! We will for sure be back!! Prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend!
As a true poutine enthusiast with a very high bar for authenticity-having tried countless spots across Montreal & the regions-I was skeptical at first. But, I'm so glad I gave this place a chance. The poutine was excellent, high-quality, & clearly made with respect for the dish with fresh potatoes.
What really set the experience apart was the hospitality & service. While I waited for my takeout that I ordered on place, the server kindly invited me to sit & brought over a complimentary homemade vegetable soup. It was such a thoughtful (& delicious!) gesture. I've never been to a restaurant that offers a free soup of the day while you wait-it was such a kind touch! Great food & even better service-I'll definitely be back!

Tried Le Petit Wellington & honestly, such a solid little spot.
For $13, you get a soup, a soft drink, a small portion of fries, & a smash burger - which is actually a really good deal for what you're getting. Everything tasted fresh & made-to-order, & I loved that it's an open concept kitchen so you can literally watch them cook your food right in front of you.
We didn't stay long & just split the burger to try it out, but it definitely hit. Simple, well done, & no fuss.

Small, vintage Verdun diner with amazing food! No complaints whatsoever! Whatever you choose on the menu comes with a delicious soup-du-jour (I would have asked for seconds). I ordered the smash burger Wellington & it did not disappoint one bit! Same for the poutine with chicken nuggets!❤? So glad we went there today!
Mon chum n'a pas pu commander parce que le personnel ne parlait pas un mot de français. Montréal est une ville bilingue, mais on doit quand même parler un minimum de français. Ce n'est pas normal de ne pas pouvoir commander dans sa langue à Verdun.
