The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. Appetizers in the tasting platter were a little more creative than usual, & delicious. Small. The mains were a generous portion for one person, with lots of injera. Nothing unexpected, very tasty. Honey wine is lovely & strong. It was very stuffy inside, not sure why the AC wasn't going, but luckily there was seating available outdoors.

Edit: I went back to this restaurant hoping to match the level of experience but it's obvious that the service of quality has changed, specifically due to the main server who was very curt & rude at times. The quality of their food has also declined. Both the fillet Mignon & the doro wat are incredibly salty & lacking richness in the spices used in their food. The portions also seem much smaller as well.

We dined on the on the patio, it was a beautiful summer evening. The food was delicious. We had the tasting menu for two as well as some honey wine. Service was excellent.

Clients de ce restaurant depuis plusieurs années, nourriture délicieuse, service impeccable, c'est une fierté d'avoir ce restaurant ethiopien à Montréal depuis des années,étant originaire d'Ethiopie. Je le recommande vivement !

Not worth the price. Parking is difficult. The waiter seemed rushed & didn't want to talk to us even though the place was not busy. We got the meat platter for 4 people. The food took a long time to arrive. The appetizer was incredibly small (I think it's the same size for 1 person as for the group). The rest was a decent portion & everything was tasty, but very expensive. The waiter hovered over us as we put in the tip on the machine, still rushing me. It just wasn't worth it. Won't be back.
