This was our second visit to Le Nil Bleu, & it was absolutely first-rate. We loved it the first time, but this was EVEN better. We are vegetarians, & had the shared 5-item vegan appetizers & dinner, then dessert. I also had a glass of honeyed wine. The service & atmosphere was delightful. If only we lived in Montreal, we would go there often, but as it is, this gem of a restaurant is a destination all on its own. After this meal, we now hold Le Nil Bleu above our favorite Ethiopian restaurants in Brooklyn & San Francisco. Can't wait to go back for more!
Je recommande chaudement. C'est ma table préférée à Montréal. Des mets délectables accompagnés d'un service attentionné. Les choix vegan valent le détour.

They have amazing food & have excellent customer service I definitely recommend. I have been to many Ethiopian restaurants & this is definitely my favorite so far I'm not vegan but even their vegan dishes are very good.
I had the vegan platter, a cocktail, & something chocolate-pecan for dessert. Everything was delicious, service was attentive despite how busy they were, & the atmosphere is lovely.
Nous avons vraiment tout aimé de notre expérience ! Nous avons partagé un repas végan! Tellement savoureux & agréable! Nous y retournerons encore & encore !
It feels like I was in a resort the whole atmosphere , the service was nice & very great foods. I would highly recommend the tasting menu also the hummus & beef tartare was delicious. so many vegan options, perfect spot to come with your vegetarian friends
Belle déco belle ambiance,excellent service (on a eu droit à trois serveurs differents par contre :D), experience culinaire originale, j'ai bien aimé le doro watt & bcp aimé le pain & le fait de saucer, mais j'ai moins apprecié la dégustation vegan, je recommande le resto :)

Food was excellent, with good options for vegans & vegetarians. Fairly fancy restaurant, so meal ended up on the expensive side. Service left something to be desired. Definitely felt rushed to order & rushed to pay by the server.
Nous avons pris le menu vegan avec entrées & plats principaux. Chaque plat était plus délicieux que le prochain. Les légumes rôti sont très savoureux & les lentilles étaient un préféré aussi, mais chaque option était vraiment fraîche & bien préparé. La service était très professionnelle & gentille. J'ai hâte de y retourner car il était un de mes meilleurs repas à Montréal.
Wow we had a very good experience at this restaurant ! The vegan platter for 2 comes with 4 starters & 5 portions to try as main ! Really tasty & service was 5 stars. I highly recommend !!!! Also loved the ambience, perfect for a date !
We ordered online via doordash & were beyond impressed. We had the ten item vegan meal & the food was superb. I have had Éthiopien food in Manhattan, Boston, Toronto & other major cities & they do not compare. The flavour in the dishes is exceptional & the ingredients are so fresh. I cannot wait to visit in person.
AMAZING FOOD. I've had Ethiopian food from all over the world, this restaurant is no joke. Beautiful romantic design. Great service. Absolutely incredible food made with so much love. I will be thinking about this restaurant until I can go again. I was so happy to spend a bit more than expected knowing the ingredients were all organic, the vegan options were plentiful, & that the owners are Ethiopian :) Perfection + Vegan heaven !!!!!!!!
Very good Ethiopian food. They use only teff injera, keeping it thin. Vegan mix (lentils, veg etc) & ribs good, excellent kitfo. Spicing & preparation slightly adjusted for Canada, but done well (other Ethiopian restaurants are sometimes heavy-handed with spices or oil...not here). Service was excellent, warm & helpful. Nice atmosphere. Recommended!
