Food was very tasty (Doro Watt-Berbere Chicken) & service was friendly. First time trying Ethiopian cuisine & did not regret our choice. Ambiance was a very nice addition to the experience. Will definitely recommend!
WHAT AN AMAZING DINING EXPERIENCE. IT WAS RAINING & WE CHOSE TO SIT IN A DRY AREA OUTSIDE.THEY OFFERED TO MOVE US IF THE WEATHER WORSENED. LOVED THE APPETIZERS & SHARING PLATE WITH MEAT. WHAT A WONDERFUL BLEND OF FLAVORS. THE RAIN STARTED TO BLOW SIDEWAYS, & FOR DESSERT, THEY DID AS THEY PROMISED & MOVED US INSIDE. GREAT AMBIENCE & THE AROMAS WERE DELECTABLE. WHAT AN ENJOYABLE EVENING FOR US BEFORE THE THEATRE. RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!

The restaurant was incredible : the staff the vibe the cocktails were amazing! it was soo fun to meet hedi again after a long while! Overall the place is a must do & i totally recommend
L'expérience globale était à la hauteur de mes attentes. Mon chum y était allé la semaine dernière avec des amis & il voulait me faire découvrir. Nous recommandons l'option de dégustation. Je me suis aussi laissée tenter par un dessert & le gâteau chocolat-pacanes était délicieux, juste assez sucré & une belle portion à partager :) Le service est impeccable, il y a plusieurs attentions pour les clients & tout le monde est professionnel & souriant. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir!!
Excellent restaurant, cadre raffiné ! Il y en a pour tous les goûts, tant que vous êtes en mode découverte. Le service est aussi au top ! Nous recommandons !

I am an ethiopian & i was so happy with how authentic the tastes were especially the injera itself. I recommend to order the plate to share because you can taste a lot of ethiopian food on one plate. I loved the Alicha siga wat, the cabbage with carrots, the kitfo from the appetizers & the tibs. I loved the presentation & the quantity of food.
Wow wow wow! C'était une première pour moi & ce ne sera sûrement pas ma dernière fois dans ce resto. Mais vraiment tout est bien! Le service était excellent. Le serveur était courtois & toujours disponible .alors le fait que le restaurant était bondé. La nourriture est exquise & savoureuse. Les légumes ont une texture croquante. Le tout est savamment épicé : ni trop pimenté ni trop fade. Les.poulet berbère est délicieux & les lentilles sont vraiment bien. J'appréhendais manger avec mes doigts ainsi le goût de la galette...mais en réalité tout était très bon. &, le prix pour le menu découverte 2 personnes & la qualité de la nourriture est plus que décent. Je recommande chaudement.
La nourriture était vraiment excellente, pleine de saveurs variées, goûteuse! Nous avons pris le menu dégustation pour 2 avec viande. Les crêpes de teff étaient délicieuses & avec les différents mets c'était vraiment bon. Côté ambiance c'était moyen, c'était une grosse soirée, resto plein à craquer, nous étions un couple désirant une soirée en amoureux & nous avons été placés, "squeezés" entre 2 gros groupes très bruyants , aucune ambiance romantique possible. Nous ne nous entendions pas parler. J'y retournerais probablement avec un groupe d'amis pour s'amuser , mais je ne recommanderais pas pour un couple souhaitant discuter tranquillement.

The establishment was very clean, the food was exeptionnal! I had the pleasure of being served by a woman named Fiorella. Her service was absolutely impeccable. I recommend you go try the food at the restaurant. I tried dinning alone for the first time & It was overall an amazing experience. Another remark about the food is that it was quote on quote different from what I am use to! I mean this in the most positive way possible!

The food & service were rather good. This review relates to how we were treated initially by the host (customer service) & the price vs experience (value). I don't know if the pandemic affected customer service but this was an odd experience. A couple of months ago we went to Nil Bleu for a special occasion. I saw the stellar reviews online & booked a few weeks in advance. We get there a few minutes early & we didn't mind waiting for a table. Some were already emptying on the main floor but needed cleaning. We express to the host that'd we'd like to sit on the main floor. He takes us to the bottom floor near the bathrooms. Also, there was a big birthday party taking place in in that dining room, it felt very awkward to be there, like we were intruding. We again ask to sit at the main floor, the host insists the table in the basement is good. We insist we'd like to change tables. So finally he leads us upstairs, we wait a bit & no less than three tables are available. The food is good & flavorful, but I wouldn't say it's worth the 150$ we paid for two people. We did experience stomach ache that night, chalking it up to the food being heavy & we're not used to it. The atmosphere was in the main room was great, & the service was excellent once we were seated, but the experience was marred by an impatient host who wanted to ship clients to fill the dining room in the basement floor, & got stubborn about it. Could be our experience was a fluke, or a one-off. Maybe the host was having an off-day, but I won't be returning nor will I recommend this restaurant to my family or friends. The value is not there. The price vs experience is not worth it. Also heavy food will cause an upset stomach.
I came here on a double date & the atmosphere was lovely (great lighting, fun music, & I loved the zebra print chairs haha). The staff was some of the best I've ever seen: incredibly attentive & friendly. & don't let me forget the most important part! The food was absolutely delicious! So well spiced & super flavorful. I love Ethiopian food, I would absolutely come again. Highly recommend for any future date nights you may have planned, or friends! Great for groups because the food is easy to share.
Absolutely love this restaurant, third time there & we took the tasting platter for 2....never disappoints. Portions seem to have gotten a little smaller from what I remember but the taste is delicious. Highly recommend if you wanna try something different.
