The Blue Nile was recommended to us, so we went while enjoying an overnight in Montreal. It was a warm evening in October, & we were seated by the front window with a great view on Rue Denis. The serving staff & chef were exceptionally attentive, & the food & drinks were delicious. I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended.
Our experience was truly delicious. The atmosphere was inviting & our waiters were adorable... I mean great LOL. We enjoyed the vegetarian sampler for 3. The quality & quantity was perfect for the 3 of us. I understand why reservations are recommended.

Wow we had a very good experience at this restaurant ! The vegan platter for 2 comes with 4 starters & 5 portions to try as main ! Really tasty & service was 5 stars. I highly recommend !!!! Also loved the ambience, perfect for a date !

Went there for a birthday dinner. We ordered the share-able dinner course for two. The food was absolutely delicious, beautiful presentation & good service! I recommend trying their house cocktails, we loved them.
Authentic flavourful food, great price, & excellent ambiance. The owner, Lidya, was so kind & shared her experience with me. The staff is uber professional & attentive. I often order through UberEats to support local businesses, but got to visit in person for the first time this past Saturday, & so glad I did. Highly recommend!
Je suis venue manger le mercredi soir avec deux personnes de mon entourage. Ce n'était pas prévu mais la curiosité & les nombreux avis ont joué sur notre choix. C'était la première fois qu'on testait la cuisine éthiopienne . Agréablement surprise ! Encore merci à Romain qui s'est occupé de nous tout au long du repas & qui a su nous faire des très bonnes recommandations. Trés bon restaurant de qualité avec des saveurs inimitables !
Very good Ethiopian food. They use only teff injera, keeping it thin. Vegan mix (lentils, veg etc) & ribs good, excellent kitfo. Spicing & preparation slightly adjusted for Canada, but done well (other Ethiopian restaurants are sometimes heavy-handed with spices or oil...not here). Service was excellent, warm & helpful. Nice atmosphere. Recommended!

This restaurant is located in downtown Montreal walking distance from Sherbrooke metro station very easy fine. The restaurant very clean & the bathroom very clean. Well organized & Very freindly staff. The food very delicious. I oderded thibsi. I highly recommend the Nil Bleu (Le) Restaurant any visitors to relax & enjoy good hot meal.
Des plats succulents & cuisine éthiopienne authentique! Le service est impeccable & la qualité des aliments est irréprochable! Je recommande à tout coup !

went for my boyfriends birthday with a few friends & had such an incredible experience! lovely atmosphere with great customer service & amazing food! 10/10 would recommend!
I invited my friends for my birthday & I decided to celebrate it in Nil Blue restaurant, it was amazing, we all enjoyed it, best birthday ever. We ordered different kinds of food & all were delicious For sure we will be back again. I highly recommend giving it a try, you will never regret especially the waitress, they were very friendly & helped me to organize my party. It deserves to be given 5-stars ❤️❤️❤️
I loved it Wow woww You have to try Ethiopian food, you will never regret it. All the different dishes I ordered I ate & loved them (some dishes were hot, I like to eat hot food) Next time I will try different side dishes. The staff is friendly, the place cozy & the bathroom is exactly like a 5-star hotel bathrooms I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Montreal who wants to try something different! It was the first time I had eaten Ethiopian food, the best Ethiopian food ever will return again Five out of five. Well done! I read the reviews & people complaint that the service is slow ,it was quick for me & I am satisfied.

Ones again, my second experience, I went to Nil Bleu restaurant & still the same delicious tasty food with special Injera bread. The staff was a friendly, very clean place, especially the bathroom I recommend giving it a try & you will never regret it. My next trip will flight to Ethiopia
