On a commandé le kouchary, le molokhia (avec riz & poulet) & les hawawshis épicés. Quelle belle découverte culinaire!

Le kouchary, plat national de l'Égypte, est un mélange surprenant, mais harmonieux & addictif, de macaroni, de vermicelles, de riz, de lentilles & d'oignons frits dans une sauce tomate acidulée. Chaque bouchée donnait envie d'en prendre une autre!

Le molokhia est un ragoût de légumes très visqueux qui requiert une certaine période d'adaptation, mais c'est un vrai délice avec le fameux riz aux vermicelles égyptien. Le goût du molokhia rappelle un peu celui de la menthe.

Les hawawshis, pains farcis d'un mélange de boeuf & d'épices, étaient un vrai régal trempés dans leur sauce piquante.

Bref, on a tout aimé, & que dire du prix? Absolument imbattable pour des mets aussi uniques
