Welcome to Casa Mare, a family-run bring-your-own-wine restaurant that has spanned three generations since 1974.
Founded in 1974 by Marco Fanone, his son Oreste Fanone took over until 2024. Since November 2024, the founder's granddaughter, Sandra, and her husband, Maxim, have taken over the reins of the family business.

First time there, very impressed!!
We were a small group so we got to try several dishes; Bruschetta, pasta trio plate, chicken dijonnaise, daily special (fish in red sauce), shrimp. ALL amazing!!
Désert was excellent too, cannoli, chocolate lava cake & tiramisu.
The food was very good overall. I took off one star only because my meal could have been served just a bit warmer, & the veal parmigiana was slightly dry - purely minor nitpicks.
The house salad was excellent, with fresh, vibrant greens. My wife's eggplant was delicious, & our dining companions also thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
Our waiter, Jack , was very friendly & attentive & definitely deserves five stars.
It does get a bit loud once the restaurant fills up, but that's to be expected on a Saturday night.

Yummy 😋Absolutely delicious! Casa Mare serves some of the best pizza & pasta I've had in a long time. The flavors are authentic, fresh, & perfectly balanced - you can really taste the quality ingredients. The pizza crust was crisp & airy, & the pasta was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy & welcoming, & the service was friendly & attentive. A true gem - highly recommend for anyone craving great Italian food!

Long time follower, recent customer. I am amazed from this place. The salmon plate is killer. Happens to be my wife's & I Friday date night takeout spot. Lived in the West Island my whole life & always have seen this restaurant at the same location since I was a kid, & only recently have been ordering. Great go to spot in the West Island & I definitely recommend to those who are a seafood lover to try the salmon plate .
We often pick up three or four calzones over there & I have to say they are phenomenal. They give you a huge calzone that sticks out of the box with this huge container of meat sauce. That's just really delicious. If you're very hungry, this is what you're going to order. Yeah it's a little pricey but it's really worth it. They also pack it really well. I like to take the pepperoni extra cheese one & they really packet it really well. It's delicious. Their sauce is very good too. It's sauce that's been around & they're family I believe for a while & it's just really, really tasty so you might want to go there & try it out. The pizza is also very good although pricey check out their menu, they have specials. If not, just go there & order anything & it'll be good.
So don't hesitate. You always give it a try. Look them up online. Call them. Go there to eat. It's a nice dining room with good service. Friendly staff. Good food. It's worth the try
