Le Marlow offers a warm, intimate setting with refined French cuisine that blends classic technique with thoughtful East-meets-West influences and artful presentations. The service is consistently attentive and friendly, with many noting the bring your own wine option as a big plus and the chance to watch the kitchen from the bar. While the dining room can be lively and a bit noisy and the space is compact at times, the overall experience is described as memorable and worth returning for, with praise for seasonal changes, inventive flavors, and the care shown by the staff.
Pas de problème sur le service.
Ce n'est pas le cas sur la cuisine.
Nous avons opté pour le 5 services. Cheviche de crevettes en entrée & tartare en plat. On note de faute de goût & d'équilibre dans les plats. Dans le ceviche, le Sichuan prend le dessus, on se sait pas que l'on mange des crevettes. A l'inverse le tartare est presque sucré, il manque d'un assaisonnement relevé. On casse même les codes du tartare avec une tartine plutôt molle au lieu de croûtons croustillants.
On ne s'attarde pas non plus sur le dessert qui manque sérieusement de légèreté.
Les intentions ne sont pas mauvaises mais la réalisation est loin d'être à la hauteur.
Première fois & belle découverte ! Nous étions 4, avons pris l'option 5 services. Tous les plats étaient bien présentés avec beaucoup de recherche & le mélange des saveurs était à la hauteur de la présentation. Le service a été très efficace, pas d'attente.
Juste pour pinailler il me semble qu'un trou normand n'a pas de sorbet mais qu'un sorbet avec alcool, servit au milieu d'un service devrait s'appeler un granité ;-)

Le resto est assez bondé & bruyant, mais c'est très justifié: de la nourriture interessante avec le choix d'apportez votre vin, il n'y a presque pas en Rive-Sud. Merci au chef & le staff!
We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday & were pleasantly surprised by the food. The dishes had some really nice flavors, & everything was enjoyable from start to finish. A great spot for a special occasion!
