Le Cartet was the perfect breakfast spot to kick off the day, especially on the morning of New Year's. Great atmosphere, relaxed but polished, & exactly the kind of place you want to start the day without feeling rushed.
The food was excellent across the board, with a menu that works equally well for adults & kids-which isn't always easy to find. The Nordic menu option was the standout for me & absolutely worth ordering. Everything we had was well prepared & thoughtfully presented.
Service was top-notch: attentive, friendly, & efficient without hovering.
Easy place to recommend & one we'll definitely return to next time we're in Montreal.

Consistently amazing experience with cozy & friendly atmosphere, delicious food & great people! Great job guys, well done come every time we're in Montreal & will be back again! Specialty Coffees are so good, this time I tried Peppermint mocha & salted caramel latte, both were the best! 🙏😍

Le cadre est chaleureux & soigné, idéal pour un repas d'équipe qui sort du cadre habituel tout en restant confortable & agréable. Mention spéciale pour l'accueil & le service : attentionnés, professionnels & authentiquement sympathiques, ce qui contribue grandement à l'expérience globale.
Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter, autant pour des repas d'affaires que pour des moments plus festifs. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
Overall, an amazing restaurant for breakfast. The prices felt slightly higher than most other places however the quality was AMAZING. The portion sizes were good, we attended several times over our visit. I would recommend
I ordered scrambled eggs with asparagus, which included bacon (i was told by my waiter), potatoes & a small fruit cup, along with a decaf latte.
The eggs were served runny & cold, the latte was luke warm at best & the bacon was a 5,50 addition.
I was by myself & was in the restaurant for more than an hour. The young man who waited on me was inattentive, slow & i had to ask for my check 3 times.
Worst breakfast experience, EVER!!!
Stopped in for late brunch around 2:00 pm & the restaurant was calmer with not many people seated. I tried the'Toscan' with an iced latte, & the meal was delicious. I'm looking at photos of it right now & looking forward to the next time. Service, decor & ambiance is very laid back & homey to me. Will definitely be back.
Quelle ambiance ! J'ai adoré le brunch partagé avec ma famille sur la terrasse de cet endroit! La journée était parfaite & l nourriture excellente ! Nous sommes arrivés vers 11h du matin, en été, un samedi, & pas d'attente & un service courtois & complet. Je suis sortie avec des produits de qualité grâce au petit marché qu'ils ont à l'intérieur.
Fantastic breakfast. Definitely try the maple latte, very delicious. Insanely busy on Sat/Sun, but stopped here on a Tuesday morning & it was so quiet.
Je connaissais déjà le café, mais je suis ravie d'avoir découvert la partie restaurant ! Un vrai délice ! La serveuse était agréable & attentive, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. Le moka était tout simplement divin, & le brunch santé, un véritable régal ! C'est l'endroit idéal pour se faire plaisir.

Incredible brunch with impeccable service made this one of the best meals I've had in Montreal! Had the Nordique which was amazing in both flavours & presentation. Everything was perfectly cooked & I was very satisfied with my choice along with the festive gingerbread latte that came with a cute little gingerbread dude!
Je tiens à féliciter & remercier Rafael pour son excellent service. Dès le début, il a été très attentionné, aimable & professionnel. Il s'est assuré que tout soit parfait, toujours avec le sourire. After so many year visiting Montreal, here is still one of my favor place to go for brunch. I had my usual "Canton" dish with fill with meat & tasty beans. The dark mocca with orange was a new try for me & I did not taste any orange aroma on it. Might as well go for regular dark mocca. Very attentive service & I enjoy the visit.
Resto intéressant pour le lunch, le menu est un peu restreint, les portions sont correctes, la tasse de latte est trop petite. Ce n'est pas un resto familial. C'est plutôt bruyant, on dirait que le haut plafond fait écho. Il faut s'attendre à payer 60$ & plus pour deux pour un déjeuner. Le service est excellent, bonne humeur & sourire.
Endroit très agréable & service très bien, en revanche le brunch n'a pas été a la hauteur de nos attentes, bien que copieux, en voyant 4,5 sur Google je m'attendais a beaucoup plus de goût.
Super fresh breakfast. Poached eggs were perfectly soft & runny. Avacado toast was fresh. Fruit & vegetables were delicious & on point. Iced lattes were perfect. Highly recommend!
Matcha green tea hot with their homemade syrup is the best . The skillet brkft was superb!! Ham sausage & thick sliced bacon was not salty but so flavourful. All homemade smoked & cured Potatoes & beans were a delicious addition. Hubby had thee best latte we have ever tasted,hands down. Highly, highly recommend this place for farm to table whole food. Bon appetite!
"Outstanding ambiance, top-notch food quality, & excellent service. We sampled both the Canton & Toscan brunch plates, & they were both exceptional, though personally, I preferred the Canton. Each plate was generously portioned. A minor note: the ham included in some dishes is more like pulled meat than traditional sliced ham, which I enjoyed but my friend found the aroma too meaty. Our server, Benjamin, was incredibly attentive & friendly, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable. Don't forget to explore the side menu for additional options. I'll definitely be returning & recommending it to others."
