I had a 2 day trip to MTL. Chose to come here both mornings for breakfast. Really tasty meals & a great vibe. Would recommend for locals & travellers. Prices are higher than a run of the mill brunch spot but you do get what you pay for.

We were 2 for brunch midweek. Brunch menu is limited but they did honor my request for the'Sante' option off the online maps menu. Generous portions & lots to love! Friendly, efficient service in a classic setting. Highly recommended.

Le brunch a été parfait ! L'accueil était chaleureux & le service excellent. Tous nos plats ont été servis rapidement & nous ont beaucoup plu. Le restaurant propose une belle variété de cafés. Nous allons certainement répéter l'expérience. Il y a des tables à l'intérieur ainsi qu'une agréable terrasse extérieure.
Stopped in for late brunch around 2:00 pm & the restaurant was calmer with not many people seated. I tried the'Toscan' with an iced latte, & the meal was delicious. I'm looking at photos of it right now & looking forward to the next time. Service, decor & ambiance is very laid back & homey to me. Will definitely be back.

Nous sommes arrivés vers 11h du matin, en été, un samedi, & pas d'attente & un service courtois & complet. Je suis sortie avec des produits de qualité grâce au petit marché qu'ils ont à l'intérieur.
I've been visiting Le Cartet for years, often choosing it for brunch or lunch due to its proximity to my office. It used to be a reliable spot with good food & coffee. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing.
On my latest visit, I ordered a salmon bagel, expecting a satisfying meal. Instead, I received a dry bagel with four minuscule slices of salmon( about 20g ) & a smear of cream cheese. This underwhelming dish cost me $20 before tax. Adding two lemonades & a coffee brought my total to $58, excluding tax & tip. For such a price, the portion & quality were unacceptable.
While the staff remains friendly & welcoming, providing service with a smile, it doesn't compensate for the declining food quality & inflated prices. It's disheartening to see a place that once offered value & quality now fall short on both fronts.
In the past, dishes like Le Canton were enjoyable, but given the recent downturn, I'm hesitant to return. It's unfortunate to witness such a decline in a place that once held promise.

Good brunch place.one of the most famous. Always good quality . Service is fine too. This is a special place with its own ambiance .its special tables. Accept noisy place & then it is very nice.
This cozy brunch spot was a delight! We had no trouble getting a table around 10:30/11 on a Sunday, & the service was so warm & welcoming. The eggs benny (with duck) & Santé were absolutely delicious with good portions.
The pancakes we ordered as a side, unfortunately, didn't live up to the rest of the meal-they were a bit dry & thin, & it was a bummer to pay extra for maple syrup & berry coulis.
However, the homemade lemonade & blood orange mimosa were delicious.
Overall, the food & service were great, & we'd definitely return for another yummy brunch!
This is one of my favourite place for brunch! There's staff that we got to know over the years & who we are so happy to see again every time

Je connaissais déjà le café, mais je suis ravie d'avoir découvert la partie restaurant ! Un vrai délice ! La serveuse était agréable & attentive, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. Le moka était tout simplement divin, & le brunch santé, un véritable régal ! C'est l'endroit idéal pour se faire plaisir.
