We sat at the counter which we often do but unfortunately, had to listen to the two servers discussing what they had to do. It took away from our experience. We enjoyed the food, found the portions a bit small & a bit expensive.

A lovely range of dishes, each one exquisitely prepared - an intimate setting, which both of us so appreciated (we didn't have to speak over loud music) - & the service was amazing. They were attentive, kind, & helpful. We'd go back in a heartbeat....

Another great experience at Lawrence. I had the tasting menu, my highlights were the Jerusalem artichokes confit w/lobster , a kind of sea chucrut garnie with sturgeon; skate & a whelk sausage & a lamb tartare on a bone-marrow dripped toast with Cantabrian anchovies. The chef keeps outdoing himself. The service was friendly & very professional as always.
