La Spada se présente comme une adresse italienne authentique et chaleureuse, où l'on retrouve des pâtes maison savoureuses et des plats mijotés riches en saveur, le tout dans une ambiance cosy et festive idéale pour une soirée entre amis ou une date. Le service est globalement apprécié pour son accueil et son professionnalisme, avec des expériences où les vins et cocktails brillent, mais certains passages signalent des services inégaux, des plats arrivant tièdes ou trop salés et un rythme parfois pressé ou lent selon les moments. On apprécie la convivialité et le partage, le pain et la focaccia, les mises en bouche et les desserts soignés, et la carte offre des burrata, arancini, pâtes ragù et pappardelle, ainsi que des viandes et fruits de mer bien cuisinés. L'endroit est décrit comme chic sans prétention, avec un décor rappelant Rome et une ambiance animée, et beaucoup de convives considèrent qu'il s'agit d'une des meilleures expériences italiennes à Montréal, même si le prix peut sembler élevé et que certains soirs peuvent manquer de cohérence.
À essayé! Nous étions au bar & un gros merci à Chanel car nous avons passée une excellente soirée & nous avons été traité comme des amis! Par contre, nous ne sommes pas certains que nous aurions eu le même service assis à une table car les autres serveurs avaient l'air un peu plus froid & hautain.
Les pâtes sont un must! Nous avons adoré nos cocktails également. Bonne sélection de vin. Nous y retournerons pour essayer le menu d'été. Superbe ambiance!

I have been eating here for quite a while, since the opening & haven't been disappointed. Love the fact that everything can be shared family style. Free pouring of wine at the table, cold refreshing cocktails. The owner Scott pops into tables to see how everyone is doing. The music isn't too loud & the servers are smiling. Love starting off with some house made bread, moving to a Caesar salad, & then a couple of mains. I've done the specials before & they are indeed special. Hot & full of flavour. Love the valet parking on the weekend. Thanks for bringing some life & love to Notre Dame! Always love going back.
Beautiful restaurant with attentive service. The food is delicious, from flavorful pastas to perfectly cooked chicken Parmesan. The Brussels sprouts are a must-try & the cocktails, especially the margaritas, are excellent. A wonderful spot for a fun & memorable night out.
Our staff has had multiple dinners at this fine establishment. This restaurant is constantly reviewing & perfecting their dishes. They have excellent cocktails as well. Highly recommend

Where to start!! It was beyond my expectations.
The food was excellent, the décor was fancy & elegant, & the waiters were dressed in a Gatsby vibe (nothing vulgar).
The service was excellent. It was my friend's birthday - they offered a dessert, & they even took the time to prepare a special cocktail & offered it to us!
I met the manager; very nice & friendly.
I didn't feel the urge to consume more food or drinks, unlike other places in Montreal.
Definitely a restaurant to go back to again & again.
Best modern Italian food you can find in Montreal. Impeccable service & a great cocktail list too. You can't go wrong with the menu. Order anything & you will be blown away. Liam is the goat. My group of 5 had so much fun. The staff here know what they're doing & it shows. Can't wait to come back
My new favourite restaurant in st.henri. The atmosphere is incredible, such a cozy & eclectic vibe. The service was incredible, timing for food & cocktails were paced out well! My lobster pasta was the star of the show, this dish was generously packed with lobster & left the seafood lover in me very happy. I cannot wait to get back!

La Spada is a breath of fresh air in terms of Italian dining in Montreal. Great food, friendly service & a chill vibe that keeps people coming back. Went with a group of nine people right after Christmas & we all had a great experience! Highly recommend the tortellini en brodo, the polpo alla griglia, the carbonara & the filet mignon. For cocktails, try the negroni sour & the pepperoncini-tini. Thanks La Spada, will definitely be back soon!
Everything was on point, the food was delicious & the place was really nicely decorated. The playlist was also really well organized & fitted so well with the atmosphere. The sad point is we only had a 2 hour period for our reservation, but that's a normal thing in such restaurants. We would have stayed & drank a little longer to fully enjoy the delicious cocktails, wines & what about the coffee ! (Marzocco spotted!) I'll hit that spot again for sure. 10/10

This was great. Food was amazing, we followed recommendations from the waiter & it was great. Both the Pasta dish were amazing (beef ragu & butternut ravioli), full of flavour, pasta al dente. Great spot for a date night as well, as very nice atmosphere. The cocktails were also very nice (especially expresso martini) I would recommend.
amazing food (we loved the crudo, beef tartare, shrimp cocktail, focaccia, & brussel sprouts) & great service! only disappointment is that the vongole is listed on the menu as linguine but we were served bucatini (I hate bucatini) & it was barely warm when it got to our table... I would definitely come back & try other pasta dishes though!
As if Bistro Amerigo were not amazing enough, they hit an absolute home run with La Spada, this newly-opened Roman paradise in St. Henri. I felt like I had been both transported to Rome & that I was right at home from the second I walked in until the second I left. The personnel were welcoming, knowledgeable, & experts at their craft, & in engaging with the clientele, from the hosts to the servers to the kitchen staff to the management. The atmosphere is comfortable & elegant at the same time, without an ounce of pretense. The wine list includes glasses & bottles, the cocktails are classic yet creative, & the food is on a positively superior level. Not many restaurants can pull off cacio e pepe (see photos) as it must be prepared & served completely fresh; La Spada does it flawlessly. The panna cotta is light & indulgent at the same time, & the focaccia is crisp outside (the flaky salt puts it over the top) & pillowy & almost creamy inside. I am looking forward to going back (many, many times).
