We had our wedding at La Spada & genuinely could not have felt more cared for. From the smallest little details to the big moments, everyone was so thoughtful, kind, generous & completely present with us. It never felt like we were just another event. They made the whole night feel so personal & so special. The food was incredible, the space was beautiful, everything flowed so seamlessly, but what we'll remember most is the people. The warmth of this team is something really special. Literally every single person on the La Spada team is such a beautiful soul!! They were constantly checking in, helping, adjusting little things, making sure our guests were happy & somehow making everything feel completely effortless. So many of our guests came up to us afterwards talking about how amazing the food, the service & the entire team were & we completely agree.
We feel so lucky that we got to celebrate such an important day at La Spada. We truly can't thank you enough Tara, Scott & the entire team, for taking such beautiful care of us & for putting so much heart into our wedding. Everything was so perfect & we'll never ever forget it ❤?
Good food, great atmosphere, amazing service. Our table wasn't ready & it took 5 minutes longer - they offered the whole table a complementary drink. The staff here is doing good work to make everyone have a good time. Portions are good, & they are creative with their dishes.
I truly wanted to give La Spada 5 stars. I was genuinely excited about this dinner, especially as we were celebrating our anniversary.
The evening started beautifully. We were acknowledged for our anniversary by both the hostess & the manager on duty, & we were given a lovely table. Our appetizers arrived efficiently, & everything seemed to be off to a great start.
Then, unfortunately, everything went downhill.
It took 40 minutes for our pasta to arrive, & during that time, no one came by to check in on us or explain the delay - we'll, just one apology five minutes before receiving our main courses. It was particularly frustrating watching other tables that had arrived after us being served while we were still waiting.
When the pasta finally arrived, I had the pappardelle. The portion of duck was generous, but there were what felt like three flakes of Parmigiano on the entire dish. My husband had the pasta with mussels, & the sauce tasted overwhelmingly of white wine & felt quite unbalanced.
What was also surprising was that, unlike what we observed at other tables, our dishes arrived without offering us the pepper or Parmesan to accompany them, so we simply ate them as they were.
I was also confused by the cacio e pepe Brussels sprouts. I expected something more along the lines of a cacio e pepe sauce, but what arrived was essentially roasted Brussels sprouts with grated cheese. Perhaps a matter of interpretation, but it wasn't what I was expecting.
& unfortunately, the evening ended without the anniversary acknowledgment we had initially received. There was no little anniversary gesture or sign to bring the night back around, while a birthday was being celebrated at the table next to us. It left us feeling as though our anniversary had simply disappeared into the evening.
I'm sharing this because I really wanted to love this restaurant. The beginning gave us every reason to think we were going to have a wonderful experience, which made the inconsistencies & lack of attention as the evening progressed all the more disappointing.
For an anniversary dinner, I expected a little more care, attention & execution throughout the experience. Sadly, we left feeling that the night we had been looking forward to did not quite live up to what La Spada initially promised.
Excellente soirée à La Spada. Le lieux est magnifique & la nourriture était juste succulente. La truite, la lasagne aux aubergines, les pâtes Ragù, les artichauts marinés & frits. Tout était incroyable. Le service était professionnel & chaleureux. Cette place mérite toutes ses recommandations & ses prix. Bravo à toute l'équipe.
Je n'avais aucune attente lorsque j'ai fait la réservation pour un souper de fête, mais ce charmant restaurant italien est magnifique! L'équipe était attentionnée, la serveuse était très gentille & a bien expliqué le menu & les sélections de vins. La cuisine italienne est ma préférée & je prends toujours le poulet parmigiana lorsqu'il fait partie du menu. Celui de La Spada est de loin le meilleur que j'ai mangé de ma vie, dans plusieurs provinces & pays. Je recommande fortement ce restaurant, il est impossible que vous soyez déçus! I'm a foodie & this time I decided to try this restaurant, I saw it many times on instagram but I was a little bit disappointed… food is good but not exceptional, price is ok, not cheap not expensive & I didn't like the service.

Good ambiance, welcoming vibes. The staff were attentive & efficient.The food is good especially the vongole pasta! We loved the selection of wines that perfectly can pair any dish at the restaurant. Will be coming back surely.
Nous avons dîné en famille à La Spada. Ouah ! C'était vraiment top. L'accueil & le service étaient personnalisés & extrement sympathiques. Quant à la nourriture : un sans faute, mention spécial pour les apéritifs pour les artichauts, les fruits de mer & la focaccia. Les pâtes étaient excellentes. Le magret & le mi cuit de truite incroyables. Nous recommandons vivement. Enfin super deco.
