I visited La Forge Bistro Bar & Grill in Mont Tremblant on Friday night, February 6th for the very first time, & it turned into an experience I'll never forget, in the very best way.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, warm, & cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening after a day in the village. Our server was absolutely lovely, attentive without hovering, friendly, & knowledgeable. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was excellent,fresh, crisp, & full of flavor. The whole dining experience was exactly what you hope for at a resort bistro.
What truly sets La Forge apart, though, is the exceptional integrity & care shown by their staff.
Unbeknownst to me, when I left the restaurant, I accidentally left my purse hanging on the back of my chair. I didn't even realize it was missing until I received a phone call from José letting me know they had found it. She reassured me immediately that my purse was safe & secured in the manager's office.
From there, Sam took charge of helping get it back to me in Ottawa. He carefully packaged it, used the FedEx label I provided, & communicated with me throughout the entire process. His professionalism, kindness, & proactive updates turned what could have been a nerve?wracking, stressful situation into something I felt completely at ease with.
Within 24 hours, my purse arrived back in my hands, thanks entirely to their prompt attention & genuine care.
La Forge isn't just a place with great food & a warm atmosphere, it's a place with remarkable people who go above & beyond for their guests. Their honesty, professionalism, & compassion left a lasting impression on me, & I'm truly grateful.
I will absolutely return & highly recommend La Forge to anyone visiting Mont Tremblant, not only for the meal, but for the truly exceptional service.
Exceptional menu. Dietary restrictions are clearly marked on the menu. All was available except for the Fondue. Of course that's what we wanted. So we had nachos forge & mussels. Both were absolutely delicious. Our server was helpful & friendly. We were on the top floor. The toilets were in the basement. That's a long way for old people in ski boots. We survived. Nice views through large glass windows opened to the slopes or village. Highly recommend.

Nous sommes venus souper pour notre anniversaire de mariage (nous étions à votre resto le 5 octobre 2025). Accueil & service extraordinaire. La terrasse du 2e étage a une vue incroyable du village. Tout le personnel était fabuleux, la nourriture était très bien. J'était déjà venu à quelques reprise au bistro du 1ere étage, mais le resto du 2e est vraiment autre chose. À refaire.
Ordered the Steak & Frites. I realize not a great cut of meat but for $40 the steak was chewy, tough & was not eaten. Manager was decent & offered options & eventually removed 3 steaks from the bill. Typical tourist trap of overpriced restaurants with sub par food & overpriced drinks. I would drive out of the Mont Tremblant village for better options. Most of the restaurants have overpriced & underwhelming food.
This will the 10th time I have my wedding anniversary dinner at the same place! What a magnificent location, service, & food. At the heart of the Mont-Tremblant village. The most extensive wine list I saw recently. The onion soup & the Porterhouse steak to share!

A great place to eat in the heart of Tremblant village! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, with a standout being their unique serving of nachos- absolutely delicious! Our waiter Martin did an impeccable job serving our big group, & his experience & enthusiasm made our table experience unforgettable. We will certainly return here & hope Martin is our server again.
Food was only okay & was very overpriced compared to other restaurants in the Village. Waitress was friendly but not very attentive. Outdoor seating was cramped. There are better options to choose from.
Barely average service, casual atmosphere, & overpriced food that the quality will not justify.
We visited here as we were obviously exhausted from the slopes. Considering everyone was starving (& usually anything tastes just about good when you're that hungry), it was quite disappointing. Paid ~$165 for a vegetarian pizza, 2 poutines, nachos, & 2 beers. Was not worth it at all IMO.
I expect to pay a premium if I'm eating at the village, but would not recommend this place if you're looking for quality food or service, we got neither.
Beaucoup trop cher. 12$ pour un mini frites, du jamais vu. 19$ pour une soupe à l'oignon dans un pain. La soupe était épaisse & il n'y wn avait presque pas. Le service était long même si le restaurant n'était pas achalandé. Notre serveuse était très gentille par contre. Pour le même prix il y a de meilleurs restaurants dans le village.

Je dirais moyen pour ce bar dans le village du centre de Villégiature du Mont-Tremblant !?🤔 La bière 🍻 est très correct ! Les cocktails🍸🍹sont fameux & très jolis comme le Summer Vibes (je ne me rappelle plus des ingrédients de ce breuvage ?🤔) & l'Exotic martini : vodka,litchi & ananas ! 😊 Pour ce qui est de la bouffe hé ! bien ! c'est couci-couça : les frites🍟(ordinaires),la poutine classique (ordinaire & trop grosse) & même les crevettes coco🍤(goûte le brûlé & sont sans goût) & sa sauce mangue épicée (bien) ! 😕 Pour ce qui est de l'ambiance : la terrasse est vraiment mieux qu'à l'intérieur du resto-bar ! & le service est long mais la plupart des serveurs & serveuses sont sympa surtout si il pleut averse🌩🌧 ! 😕 Euh ! & en ce qui concerne les toilettes disons que certaines personnes aimeraient moins les toilettes de couleur noires & les portes d'écuries ?🤔 Au moins dans ce bar elles ne sont pas entièrement noires "c'est peut-être une couleur populaire dans les Laurentides !?"🤔🙃
This place is just fabulous. I visited the village for my anniversary with my partner & drove all the way from Toronto. Had a fantastic experience here & quality of food. We tried Salmon & the steak. It was nicely marinated & well cooked. We loved the ambiance & the scenery from the restaurant. Highly recommend.
Incredible location for skiers & those taking in the village by foot. We got the table closest to the base of the hill! Loved that there was a healthy kids menu (including salmon). Fast service. Good vibe.
