I visited La Forge Bistro Bar & Grill in Mont Tremblant on Friday night, February 6th for the very first time, & it turned into an experience I'll never forget, in the very best way.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, warm, & cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening after a day in the village. Our server was absolutely lovely, attentive without hovering, friendly, & knowledgeable. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was excellent,fresh, crisp, & full of flavor. The whole dining experience was exactly what you hope for at a resort bistro.
What truly sets La Forge apart, though, is the exceptional integrity & care shown by their staff.
Unbeknownst to me, when I left the restaurant, I accidentally left my purse hanging on the back of my chair. I didn't even realize it was missing until I received a phone call from José letting me know they had found it. She reassured me immediately that my purse was safe & secured in the manager's office.
From there, Sam took charge of helping get it back to me in Ottawa. He carefully packaged it, used the FedEx label I provided, & communicated with me throughout the entire process. His professionalism, kindness, & proactive updates turned what could have been a nerve?wracking, stressful situation into something I felt completely at ease with.
Within 24 hours, my purse arrived back in my hands, thanks entirely to their prompt attention & genuine care.
La Forge isn't just a place with great food & a warm atmosphere, it's a place with remarkable people who go above & beyond for their guests. Their honesty, professionalism, & compassion left a lasting impression on me, & I'm truly grateful.
I will absolutely return & highly recommend La Forge to anyone visiting Mont Tremblant, not only for the meal, but for the truly exceptional service.

Nous sommes venus souper pour notre anniversaire de mariage (nous étions à votre resto le 5 octobre 2025). Accueil & service extraordinaire. La terrasse du 2e étage a une vue incroyable du village. Tout le personnel était fabuleux, la nourriture était très bien. J'était déjà venu à quelques reprise au bistro du 1ere étage, mais le resto du 2e est vraiment autre chose. À refaire.
We stopped by The Forge Bistro in Tremblant mostly because of the great location. & to be fair, the spot is solid - nice view of the hill & a good place to sit & hang out. But the food? Big letdown.
I ordered the all-dressed pizza (which was $28, by the way) & honestly, it felt like a glorified flatbread. No flavour, just some mushrooms & red peppers. If there was any meat on it, I didn't see it. Pretty sure we ended up with a vegetarian version by mistake, or that's just what they're calling'all-dressed' now. Either way, not great.
For that price, you expect something a little more legit. Instead, it felt lazy - like something thrown together with zero care. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it, & even that would be generous.
Bottom line: come for the view, but don't bother with the pizza. Total miss.

En vue du nombre de personnes que ce restaurant doit accueillir, ça arrive que la nourriture soit froide avant même d'arriver à la table. Ce qui était notre cas.
On a tout misé sur une poutine pour notre petit break mais nous étions un peu déçus.
C'était une copie conforme d'une poutine McDonald's… à s'y méprendre !
La forme des frites, la sauce & c'était surtout froid… qui aime sa poutine froide :( ? Qui aime réchauffer sa poutine au micro-ondes :'( ? (Pire)
Comprenez moi, je n'ai rien contre la poutine McDonald's, j'en mange même souvent, mais pas au même prix que j'ai payé ces deux poutines …
Surtout que je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus traditionnel étant donné que je suis dans un bistro perché dans une montagne.
J'ose espérer que le reste du menu est mieux travaillé. On y reviendra si le chemin nous y conduit ! (Peut-être)
Le mojito fruit de la passion était très rafraîchissant !
We celebrated our 15th anniversary at La Forge Bistro, & it was an unforgettable experience. While it is on the expensive side, the quality of food, service, & ambiance make it absolutely worth it for any special occasion.
Our server was exceptional-attentive, friendly, & genuinely funny. He took the time to understand our tastes & made excellent recommendations, which we happily followed. Every dish we tried was fantastic, especially the seafood, which was fresh, flavorful, & perfectly prepared.
From start to finish, everything about our evening at La Forge Bistro was top-notch. If you're looking for an elevated dining experience, this place is a must-visit!
Nous sommes allez manger samedi soir au bistro & excellent service, nous avons prix un smash burger & il était wow , le meilleur que nous avons manger. Les frites sont vraiment bonne. Nous avons également pris les nachos & les chips était croustillantes sans trop de garniture, parfait équilibre. Les sangria son vraiment bonne également. L'ambiance est vraiment parfaite la musique pas trop forte pour un bistro bar , & c'est vraiment chaleureux , ils ont même une terrasse avec des panneau chauffant au plafond. Je recommande fortement l'endroit.

La qualité de la nourriture est digne d'un pub ou d'un petit bistro. Le rapport qualité prix ici n'y est pas du tout. Prix indécent pour un tartare/frites (pas faites maison), le prix du plat de pâtes est également beaucoup trop élevé pour la qualité de la nourriture. Pour ce qui est du vin, bien que la carte des vins est incroyable & variée, le service n'y est pas non plus. Le serveur nous a servi le vin sans prendre la peine ne nous le faire goûter. Le 2e verre sans le servir devant nous, décevant. Le service était correct, mais sans plus. On s'attend à un service ici de haute qualité considérant le prix & la "supposée" grande qualité de la nourriture. Pourboire : le terminal de paiement propose par défaut 18-20-22% pour couronner le tout. Vous avez affaire ici à un restaurant attrape-touriste. Dommage, car il aurait du potentiel.
Dîner sur la terrasse & souper aux steakhouse. 2 menus & prix différent selon bistro où terrasse. Notre serveur Martin est tout simplement parfait. La nourriture y est excellente
Lovely ambiance in the bistro. The server was very knowledgeable & helped with food & wine pairings. The food was excellent; perfectly prepared, delicious & beautifully plated. I would recommend this place for a leisurely dinner.
