It was the only place with not to bad of a line & we could watch the game on TV we wanted to see. The first day we went itbwas really packed the server seemed a bit overwhelmed but was doing her best to ma age going back & forth we got some drinks & for food I got salmon. The salmon was really good this day. The next day it was a little bit emptier. I got the salmon again as I enjoyed it the first day. However this time it came with a cup of salad which I did not get the first day. Talking with the server he said yes its suppose to come with salad & he sorry they missed it yesterday but now I know. However the salmon didnt tast that good. It taste like it wasn't fresh & completely different from what I had the previous day. Also overall service was just sub par ( I may be bias comparing to American standards) but im use to where once you get your food servers come & check in on you to see how it is & if you need anything else. These servers barely spoke. They take your order then they never come back to your table.
Right off the ski lift. Same owner as Le Shak adjacent seems to rely on their location & unique design, staff seem busy & indifferent will continue to be busy despite not having clean floors or beverages not supplied by common distributors. Super fun unique nachos but left not feeling got value, think I should have saved my $ for further off lifts.
It is what it is...good lunch spot or acres ski spot based at the bottom of Tremblant. We love the French onion soup in the bread bowl & the on tap beers. The soup is perfect & even the bowl is scrumptious.
Exceptional menu. Dietary restrictions are clearly marked on the menu. All was available except for the Fondue. Of course that's what we wanted. So we had nachos forge & mussels. Both were absolutely delicious. Our server was helpful & friendly. We were on the top floor. The toilets were in the basement. That's a long way for old people in ski boots. We survived. Nice views through large glass windows opened to the slopes or village. Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere. Martin was a very friendly & professional waiter. Great spot for a lunch during a heavy day of skiing!
Travelled from Toronto , first time in Quebec & the birthday girl decided to book this restaurant for dinner last night. 7 of us & I was the only dark skin girl in the crew, I'm saying this in particular because the waiter a bald guy working the patio was beyondddddddddddddd rude to me from we sat down in the restaurant, they way he spoke to me & made slick remarks under his breathe made me feel so uncomfortable but because it was my friends birthday & he was nice to EVERYONE except me I did not respond as I did not want to ruin the night. At the end of the night I did not tip him a dollar, even after knowing how he treated me he made one final snark remark after handing back the pay system' YOU DO KNOW THAT GRATUITY WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THAT PRICE RIGHT' as if I am entitled to tip him after the service me as an individual received. Discrimination is the last thing I expected because of the colour of my skin. Will definitely not be back here or to Quebec!!!
Nearly empty restaurant. A group of white customers ahead of us was seated in a great spot. When it was our turn, we were told to go upstairs even though first-floor tables were open, & we were in ski boots. After we objected, we were pushed to a poor table by the entrance while others were seated in the main dining area. The treatment was clearly discriminatory & racist. We walked out & ate next door. Avoid this place. There's a reason this place has so many bad reviews despite a prime location.
We had a great experience at La Forge! We ate outside at the ski lift inspired table with the row of fire in the middle, while it was snowing - such a dreamy vibe! The food was amazing (especially the Brie), & our waiter Martin was exceptional! He was so friendly & took great care of us. We'll definitely be back!
We had a lovely time at this restaurant for our after ski. We had drinks, melted brie cheese & oysters & everything was delicious. The oysters were very fresh! Our waitress was very kind & brought everything to our table without too much wait. We sat on the terrasse under the heat lamps & it was very cozy even though it was -9°C outside. We would definitely go back again!
Not great. Service was slow. Food was average. Beer was fine. Prices are ski resort prices as you'd expect. Overall, there are better places in Tremblant
Fun après ski with some pals. Good snacks. Excellent vin chaud. Super friendly & fun server. Thanks Martin for all the laughs. You made our afternoon memorable!
Stopped in for a quick lunch. It was nice to have a window seat watching the skiers. The walls to the bathrooms were very unique & beautiful. The food & service were amazing. I would recommend this place.
Great place to stop for lunch after a morning on the mountain. It definitely beats eating in an overly crowded ski lodge & for the same price you get great food. I've been here for just drinks & for lunch. The service was quick, nice & if you get in early enough, you can get a nice seat by the window with the view of the mountain. They were good & quick to seat my large group of 8 without any reservations. Good drink selection too. Would come back again for another lunch.
La Forge cannot be missed if you are anywhere close to the ski hill! It has great location & is very popular. Ambience & facilities are good, service is decent too. Food is mediocre. As a steakhouse, my medium-rare (on their recommendation - I normally go rare), was on the well side. Fortunately it was filet mignon, so didn't get chewy. Disappointed in the French onion soup & the bone marrow portion was very small. Most likely would not be returning.
Seated fairly quickly given it was peak apres ski. Waited no less than 15 minutes. Aperol spritz was great. Poutine too. The goat cheese salad was delicious. Servers came around when they were able to as it was busy but we did not wait long for food/drinks once we ordered.
Incredible location for skiers & those taking in the village by foot. We got the table closest to the base of the hill! Loved that there was a healthy kids menu (including salmon). Fast service. Good vibe.
