Incredible tacos! The Peuvre au Pastor was delicious & fresh, the Thon Aplati was so well balanced, & light, & the Taco Doré de Marlin was juicy, & just the perfect portion size. The RIBEYE tacos, the Carnitas, the Capechena, & the Birria were all phenomenal, would definitely make this a regular stop if I lived here. Super busy on weekends so make a reservation in advance. If you are looking for dessert get the Tres leches cake, c'est bon.

I come here from time to time since it's a nice spot close to downtown attractions. Overall, I like the place; the food is generally good & pretty close to what the dishes should taste like.
However, this is a heads-up about one specific dish: the CARNITAS Tacos. Don't order them. If the restaurant can't cook the meat properly, it's better to remove it from the menu. The pork was overly fatty & greasy, not well cooked at all. It honestly felt like they're cutting corners to offer it, since I remember it wasn't on the menu before.
That said, most of the other dishes are solid. You can't go wrong with the Cochinita Pibil or Pastor tacos.'
Authentic Mexican tacos in the heart of Chinatown in Montreal! Cochinita Pibil, Pastor & Birria tacos were great. Really good chips & guac. Very friendly staff, she even offered me a bite of her Papas con Veneno! ❤?

Dinner time! Stopped in for some tacos as we have heard good things about this restaurant. Not very expensive, but very tasty tacos! Enjoyed the guacamole to start as well.
We had the Carnitas & Pastor, with a guacamole to start. Really enjoyed all of it, but the Carnitas were the winner with some hot sauce & lime added. Delicious.
Great place to stop & eat, & won't break the bank.
One of the best Margaritas & tacos I've ever had.The experience at La Capital Tacos is awesome, not only for its delicious food & drinks, but also thanks to the friendliness & good vibes of the entire staff. Everything we've tried is delicious. Our favorites are the tacos al pastor, the quesabirria, & the beans. All the margaritas are delicious, from the classic to the tamarindo. My husband & I go quite often, just the two of us or with friends, & we always leave very pleased & want to return soon. Although there are sometimes lines, it's totally worth the wait, as the entire experience, from the food & drinks to the cheerful & pleasant atmosphere, is truly unforgettable.

Comida para llevar , lunes por la noche despues de un dia muy largo , no conosco sus horarios , pase un pedido y lo acceptaron , pero al parecer ya estaban de salida , y sacaron todo del refrigerador , y lo mal empaquetaron pues la bolsa de papel venia rota de tanta grasa que salia por todos lados,.no se si fue la manipulacion del contuctor de uber que la haya puesto boca abajo o realmente solo fue mal cerrada con exceso de grasa , dificil decir pues la.bolsa estaba empapada de lo que creo era caldo de birria , despues de recibir un paquete asi... literalmente chorriando por todos lados es dificil empezar a comer con gusto asi que si trato de ser lo mas objetivo quitando que la comida estaba realmente fria , los empaques sucios y la comanda incompleta, podria decir que esta 6 de 10 , falta de sal al pastor y salsa arbor que se cobra extra no pica nada.... casi nunca pido refrescos pero ahora se me antojo una coca mexicana de vidrio....por 5 dolarsotes!!! Y me mandaron una big cola de lata o algo parecido... muy mala experiencia , la verdad hubiera preferido que cancelaran mi.comanda y buscar otra opcion o hacerme unos huevitos aqui en la casa ... ahora a dormir frustrado despues de pagar caro y tener que aventarme a limpiar mi casa por toda la.suciedad que se rego desde las escaleras... lo que se supone ser un servicio para facilitarte la.cocinada salio muy mal ... Claremente no volvere a pedir y este mensaje realmente creo se lo merecen, las fotos las subir Ala pagina del uber por si creen que exagero.....
Best tacos in town! Highly recommend the Pirata Quesadilla & the Quesadilla Oaxaca with pastor-absolutely delicious. & don't miss the Margarita Jamaica, it's divine!
Le meilleur spot à Tacos à Montréal! Les tacos goûtent comme ceux que font nos abuelitas, fait avec amour & ça paraît que la viande est marinée à la perfection. Nous avons pris une quesadilla Gringa & une Quesabirria. La sauce qui accompagne la Quesabirria est juste parfaite, ça goûte similaire al caldo de res 👌🏽 comme Tacos on a choisi Al pastor & Ribeye avec l'option de tortillas maison! On recommande le cocktail Mescalita jamaika!

Tacos are always great but last time I went they served me dry meat for my tacos Al pastor & reheated tortillas clearly from the day before. The waitress said it was her new tortilla process but cmon I was with my Mexican friends & they know they're food. Definitely was disappointed, not sure I'll be back.
The Tacos Carnitas & Pastor with fresh guacamole & sliced fresh jalapenos are absolutely solid & amazing! & the servicers are so friendly & accommodating. It's a must do for Mexican food in Montreal...
The birria needs a lot of work. The beef is way too dry but the consommé is very good. The al pastor is a big highlight. Its so good. Everything else on the menu is excellent.
Ribeye not worth it. Pastor is great. Birria was good. You probably won't be full. Did a mini "food tour" with my Mexican family & went to a couple taco spots in town. The ribeye tacos were very underwhelming. The meat was 3/5. I got 3 of what was is in the photo plus a "grilled green onion" that was soggy. If you want authentic Mexican tacos, this specific dish ain't it. These are NOT worth what you get. Birria tacos were good. Not "out of this world!", but good & authentic. Tastes like what you would have at a family get together in Mexico. The pastor tacos were legit & very good. EASILY the best of the 3. If you want authentic Mexican tacos then I highly recommend this order. Overall first impression this place was okay. Didn't completely live up to the hype but I could give it 4 stars if their carnitas are good. Ribeyes were disappointing & pastor was really good so 3 is fair. Good music, nice atmosphere. Staff was good. Would return. Will try carnitas!
As a mexican this place feels like home, awesome food, excelent service & drinks were so good, you shouldn't leave without trying pastor tacos & tres leche cake
