First they had three vegetarian options which all tasted amazing, then two which is still a reasonable amount, & finally one. But at least there was still one & the flavour made up for it. Of course when I finally take my friends over for dinner, the one vegetarian option had run out for the night, leaving me with nothing to eat. Truly unfortunate to see.
Edit: Visited again after a second option was added & was very happy with my food. These are the best tacos in the city. Props to the owners for taking criticism & improving!
Chips en polvo. No me gustó para nada. Pedí 2 guacamoles con chips, las chips llegaron echas polvo, el guacamole era mas limón q aguacate. Además, Pedí una gringa, estaba fria, la tortilla muy dura y ni siquiera estaba bien envuelta. Para ese precio la verdad no es nada justo ni bueno. Pésimo en verdad.
Great lively place. When in Chinatown Montreal, & excellent dinner choice is La Capital Tacos. La pastor with delicious red & green sauces, plus rewrites, chips, & Tecate.

Hoy fui con mi novio. Había una fila bastante larga, pero logramos conseguir una mesa en la terraza.
El chico que nos recibió en la entrada fue **extremadamente amable**. Nos preguntó si era nuestra primera vez y se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos muy bien el menú. También quiero destacar a la chica que nos llevó los cócteles (imagino que era la bartender), porque fue muy amable y atenta.
En general, el servicio fue rápido y muy bueno. Sin embargo, el precio me pareció exagerado para lo que consumimos: una entrada y dos cócteles. Todo estuvo rico, pero pagar **60 dólares** (incluyendo la propina) me parece demasiado. El servicio fue excelente, pero siento que el precio no está del todo justificado.
We are in Montreal for one month each summer & go at least once to La Capital. Tonight we were seated promptly on arriving at 7:50. We ordered a margherita &, when it arrived, ordered chips & guacamole & two taco plates. Then we waited. & waited. & waited. After 30 minutes we managed to catch our waitress's eye & asked for the guacamole. She said she'd fix it herself, & asked us what we'd ordered. We told her., wondering why she didn't know.... She came back at least 5 minutes later with the chips & dip & said our tacos were being prepared. At 8:40 we asked to see a manager. No manager came. At 8:45 a different server brought us more chips & our bill - including the taco plates! We told her we had not yet received our dinner & were leaving, put cash on the table to cover what we had received, & left. I'm kind of sad. We enjoy a taco night or two during our stay, but we'll have to find somewhere else. I was pleased to see their expansion since our previous visit, but it appears they've grown beyond their capabilities.
We sat on the terrace & the ambience & decorations are quite nice, the only thing that so great is the fact that we are on St-Laurent, a pretty busy road.
The service is always so friendly, & they even allow dogs on their terrace!
The food is probably the best part of the night. Tacos are loaded & amazingly paired with table sauces. I genuinely might be in love with this place, don't tell my girlfriend.
