Fuimos hoy a las 18:00 y la que nos daba las mesas nos hizo una sena con la mano, toda desganada.
Ademas, las personas que estaban a lado eran quebecas y las atendieron super rápido ! Y la tipa que nos dio la mesa muy amable con ellas.
La mesera que nos atendió se le olvidó otro platillo que habíamos pedido.
Y un hombre de lentes, barba edad más o menos de treinta le dio el plato a mi mamá con mala gana y casi aventando el plato.
Que pena que entre mexicanos haya discriminación nunca más regresaremos ahí!
Y no fue la primera vez que nos hicieron eso, esta vez fue la segunda y queríamos ir para volver a comer comida mexicana.

Nous sommes allés aujourd'hui à 18h00 & la personne qui nous a placés nous a fait un geste de la main de façon très désagréable & sans aucune motivation.
En plus, les personnes assises à côté de nous étaient québécoises & elles ont été servies très rapidement, avec beaucoup plus de gentillesse. La dame qui nous a donné la table était très aimable avec elles.
La serveuse qui nous a pris la commande a oublié un autre plat que vous aviez demandé.
& un homme avec des lunettes & une barbe, d'environ trente ans, a servi le plat à ma mère de très mauvaise manière, presque en lançant l'assiette.
C'est vraiment dommage de vivre de la discrimination, surtout entre Mexicains. Nous ne reviendrons plus jamais.
& ce n'est pas la première fois qu'ils ont fait un coup comme ça.
First they had three vegetarian options which all tasted amazing, then two which is still a reasonable amount, & finally one. But at least there was still one & the flavour made up for it. Of course when I finally take my friends over for dinner, the one vegetarian option had run out for the night, leaving me with nothing to eat. Truly unfortunate to see.

I was told this was the best tacos in Montreal… Unfortunately, they were greasy yet dry & crunchy & pretty much tasteless, the coriander did ALL the heavy lifting!!! Avoid the al pastor tacos
Best shrimp 🦐 (Rosarito) tacos I have eaten in a while (I used to live in Ensenada, Baja California). Very friendly & fast service. A little noisy but perfect to have a beer, mojito, paloma, etc. & some tacos with friends or family.

This is a pleasant quick restaurant for amazing tacos.
On suggestion I had the rum, lime & Mexican cola (made with sugar cane) & for my meal the Shrimp Tacos.
Three tacos were more than enough for me. The shrimps were huge & one shrimp filled the taco. Cabbage, chipotle mayo & guacamole. Truly enjoyed them.
Prices were reasonable.
Had a nice dinner here last weekend. The vibe of the place is really nice & the food was good. The conchinita pibil was REALLY SALTY - & we are salty food lovers. But I would say that we preferred the Birria. Otherwise they were pretty decent & prices were fair. Would go back here if I was in the neighbourhood & looking for a taco!
This place is very busy & usually has a wait so prepare yourself. I was lucky enought that the wait was only a couple minutes. They do their best to seat people & gives bills to those who have been there a while. Drinks are great & a wild selections & tacos were also delicious.
Wow! We came in for dinner, a little early around 5:30. A few seating options were available so we chose the centre table. The space quickly filled up with a line out the door, yet service was quick & kind.
The jackfruit tacos were simple but delicious. All the options seem great so it was hard to pick. The medium chips & guac was a LOT of guac with a few chips so we saved some for the tacos.
You can't match the food & atmosphere at home, & definitely need to try La Capital.

We came in expecting great tacos, but honestly, the highlight of our visit ended up being the service. Our waitress Sonia with an I ... was one of those rare people who makes you feel instantly welcome,genuine, attentive, & effortlessly kind.
She didn't just take our order; she elevated the whole experience with her energy, her compliments, & the way she connected with us. It felt personal, not routine, & that's something you don't come across every day.
Great food brings people in, but service like hers is what makes you want to come back. Capital Tacos is lucky to have her-we definitely were.

All meat tacos were super dry except for the birrias bc you dunk it in a sauce. Had to ask for water & napkins 4 times. My high expectations were crushed
Friday April 10 8:20 pm, we're waiting in line to get in. The host comes in saying it's 15-30min. There's a couple behind us & one of them is a famous quebecois singer who's also waiting to get in. As we get out they ask us how long we tell them what the host says. Immediately she asks if the bar is okay to them completely skipping us. When we complained she lies straight to our faces telling us they had a reservation when it's clear they didn't. Will never try again why give money to a place where they disrespect customers.
