I can't say enough about how delicious & fresh my mortadella sandwich tasted. It reminded me of some of the best Italian grocery store sandwiches I've had. We came twice during our trip. We enjoyed the food & the croissants so much to start our day.
Cool patisserie/boulangerie in Griffintown, open early 8:00, filled up pretty fast, limited seating. They bake their breads on place, therefore very fresh & crunchy. They are a bit understaffed,m. Therefore, service suffers a bit.
Lots of choices, fresh & delicious & Canadania Expresso NOT Americania!😊
Great vibe
Awesome choices & quality
Tight place to find a spot to sit but people share
Fresh bakery (open)
Must try if around
I had a breakfast there & it was really good. Fresh breads are also available!
You start your day here & you're destined for great things... OMG everything the bakery pumps out is SPECTACULAR ❤️ ⭐️Croissant au Jambón Hammy flakey heaven with a bechamel that tucks everything into your taste buds! ⭐️Sandwich Dejeuner (Egg Sammy) Eggs so light, cheese is yummy, smoked meat hits the right notes 🎶 & fresh tomato brings it home. ...then there is the case of baked goods as you walk in. Good luck not selecting "one of everything"🤤 10/10 will be back!
All of the delicious baked goods are made fresh daily. It's definitely a hidden location, & one of the entrances is thru a furniture store. Dried sausage made excellent gifts for family & friends. Definitely trying their crossiant sandwiches. Kind of a smaller place with limited seating.
Came there for a fresh bread. Was somewhat disappointed about 2 things: 1. They don't have a slicing machine. 2. The more expensive breads (way too expensive to my taste) did not have a clear price mark. Other than that it's OK.
If you are a fan of baked goods with a continental twist, this is the place for you. All fresh baked daily.
I recently visited La Bête a Pain, Breakfast was amazing... What a nice experience the staff were so polite, the food here is outstanding. & the bread so fresh! I came across a tomato sauce, Les Aliments Amica, it was delicious with fresh ingredients which is very important for myself & family! My kids also loved it. It's such a convenient option when you want a tasty sauce without the hassle of making it from scratch. I highly recommend it. Will be coming back for more!
Hidden in a small alley, filled with buttery smell, good selection of bread. PASTRY: • Brioche: very soft & buttery, very fresh • Cream choux: it's so big that at first I thought that it's a brioche. Very good quality, the filling cream is amazing, I believe it's cream cheese. • Croissant: A bit small but tasty & flaky . DRINKS: • Milk oloong tea: best oolong tea I ever tried. The aroma was insanely soothing, sweet & milky. SERVICE: communication might not be too smooth if you don't speak French INSIDE: plenty of space & tables
Amazing spot for a quick breakfast bite. Their selection of pastries & bread is excellent, & the taste & freshness are worth a trip to this place. Service was good, too. Lastly, their coffee also tasted fresh & well-made.
Really amazing bakery all fresh. My favorite is the almonds croissant.
Best bakery you can ever go to in Montreal. Very fresh croissant & baguettes.
