Update : the second time there was nothing like the first. Definitely a huge improvement. Great food & service Well definitely be back

The one thing that ruined our experience was how cold the restaurant was. I was shivering the whole time. There was no heat & every time the front door opened it would get colder. You could not remove your jacket, it was as if we were sitting outside. I find it unacceptable to just expect paying clients to sit in an icebox to eat their food. My food became cold within minutes of arriving. Will definitely not be returning this winter.
This one tall young man instantly welcomed us in & the service was impeccable. The waitress was also amazing always checking up on us. Would definitely recommend to come again it was excellent.
First time trying this restaurant & was really disappointed. Burger meat was bland & toppings tasted very cheap. The meal wasnt hot just room temperature. Ordered also the steak tartare & really dissatisfied. Service was embarrassing, very weak. Whoever owns this chain, please review the staff. I'm not going back neither is my husband.
Great food, friendly service & an enjoyable atmosphere. The cocktail list is comprehensive & very good.
The restaurant was a little cold, I would recommend a sweater.
Tacos de boeuf : durs, secs, manquerait une sauce. Il y en a sur la table, des sauces piquantes qui sont là en tout temps, dans un panier... mais sur lesquelles il est écrit'réfrigérer après ouverture', alors je ne peux manger cela, ne sachant pas depuis combien de semaines elles sont là, non réfrigérées !
De plus, le restaurant était plutôt vide (4 ou 5 tables, tout au plus), mais la cuisine a quand même pris 32 minutes à produire deux repas de tacos & deux mini poutines. Ridicule.
Since owner has changed La belle & la boeuf became terrible, get back the menu & everything as it used to be
I dont even know where to start the service was so mediocre the waitress threw the utensils at us on the table all mixed up we had to pass them around.
For the entry we tried the wings. Those were the most salty wings I've had in my whole life it was so disgusting.
& the burger was just dry didnt have any flavour the only thing that was ok was the fries & they came COLD but at this point we could've went to mcdonald & paid 1/4 of what we paid. As for the atmosphere it was okay.
Anyway I dont recommend this place the quality is definitely not it. May the owners see this & change something.
Ate at Vaudreuil site last night.
Front door was broken, so our first seat was freezing cold,so we asked to move. We had to go back & get the menus from the original spot because they weren't brought to us.
We both ordered the mushroom burger. The burger was okay, the fries were cold & stale. (Like seriously, do they just throw them in the plate after they have been sitting in a bin for 30 min)
Told the waitress they were cold & said just bring us a plate of fresh fries, I didn't want my plate going back to that kitchen. .She came back 3 minutes later with warmer ones, but still stale tasting, they just reheated old ones that were already in that bin, I guess. We had to go find a bottle of ketchup three tables down, as almost all were empty.
The cooks & waitresses were more interested in just hanging out around the kitchen entrance. The place was so dirty, The corridor to the bathroom had two napkins on the floor, the whole time. Service was invisible, twice I had to go find the girl, once for the cold fries issue, & once for our bill.
tldr :'it's bad & the owner's should be ashamed'
La Belle & la Boeuf used to be a good burger joint, but it's definitely not the case anymore,
They have now 16 locations across Quebec & the quality went really down. They now serve bad quality frozen beef patties, french fries that taste like cardboard & frozen (or reheated) bacon so dry you can have difficulties chewing.
I ordered the smash burger & it was everything except a smash, completely dry meat. Just some regular frozen patties stack on top of each others, plastic like bacon that taste like nothing but hey there is a secret sauce to make everything go down (mayo,mustard & diced pickles & onion) yihaaaa.
I also tasted the capitain flam, a classic that I used to order all the time when I was eating there more often a few years ago. It's now really bad, the sauce the caramelized ognions & the bread were ok but that beef patty was somehow even worse (probably because it was thicker but so dry. You could really see how bad the quality of the meat is), as for the bacon it was the same cardboard as before.
So in conclusion, it's a cool looking restaurant with good atmosphere & an ok service but that serves the worst hamburgers possible. Even the worst Macdonald I tried was better than this.
I absolutely do not recommend.
The place is very nice, but the customer service is very slow. From the time we were assigned a table until they took our order, more than 10 minutes passed. Then we had to wait for our food, & my children & I were very hungry. The food was decent, but I expected something better based on the comments from people who recommended the place. When we asked for the bill, they took a long time to bring it, & forget about getting my change. In short, I went to spend a quiet afternoon & celebrate an anniversary, & it didn't turn out as we expected. We had a good time, but I definitely won't be back until they improve their customer service.
Thank you for a great night! We had our company Christmas party at La Belle & La Boeuf & we could not have asked for a better place. The service was amazing, food & drinks were delicious & the atmosphere was fantastic!
Best dinner out I've had on the road since last year, when I had the best dinner here as well. As a coach bus driver, I stay at the hotel next door when traveling to Montreal with clients. Always look forward to grabbing dinner at LBLB. This time, I had three other drivers with me as well & they all said the same.'Best dinner out on the road in years.'
Great waitresses every time I visit, & I try something different from the menu. This time I had the Gros Jacques burger with a Molson Canadian. Superb.
Repas commandé samedi le 15 novembre 2025. Le repas était deux Macolos qui consiste à être un Mac n cheese avec bacon & chips de style ringolo. J'ai écrit au restaurant le soir même pour leur avertir que le repas n'avait aucun sens car le Mac n cheese avait pratiquement pas de sauce/frommage (pâtes sec), aucun bacon & pratiquement aucun ringolo. Aucune nouvelle depuis plus de 3jours de la part du restaurant. Je déconseille fortement. Je vous laisse une photo de leur dites macolos versus ce que l'on reçoit reelement.
Mise à jour: Suite à la réception de leur message reçu ici sur Google qui demande de les contacter pour régler le problème, je l'ai ai contacté le jour même. Nous somme maintenant mi-décembre 2025 & aucune nouvelle de leur part. Leur message est clairement seulement pour bien paraître mais en vérité ils se foutent vraiment de leur clientèle.

The restaurant was completely empty, yet I still got my order messed up. & I speak both national languages & so do they, the bar for service jobs is in the ground....
Très déçu ce soir , la serveuse n'étais pas présente & avais de la misère à comprendre se que nous voulions. La nourriture étais très décevant. Les nachos étais brûlé & mon burger n'étais même pas cuit . Ce ne seras plus 1 de mes coups de coeur .
