La Belle & la boeuf, offers a solid burger experience in a big-box setting, & while some aspects could use refinement, it's a place I'd return to for its namesake dish.
The decor inside is surprisingly original & quite appealing, a welcome contrast to the typical chain restaurant aesthetic. It's clear the owners put thought into creating an engaging indoor atmosphere.
However, my experience on the terrace was less impressive. Situated in a parking lot, it felt exactly like that - a parking lot. There was a missed opportunity to create a more intimate or inviting outdoor space. Next time, I'll definitely opt to sit inside.
As for the food, the salmon tartare was mediocre, but as a self-proclaimed burger joint, my expectations weren't particularly high for that dish. The star of the show, the burger, was indeed good. It hit the spot & delivered on what I was looking for. The staff was friendly & attentive, which always enhances the dining experience.
Overall, it is a reliable choice when you're craving a good burger. While the terrace needs some love, the friendly service & decent food make it worth a revisitView more
Had a surprisingly extra delicious burger on Wednesday night, ordered the classic (smash burger) with bacon added & when it arrived, it was a true smash burger with the nice crispy edges of burger sticking out. It was soooo good. Side onion rings were done just right too. We also ordered some nachos with smoked meat on top & they were very good, especially with the Bloody Caesar that was part of the Happy Hour special. I had the original Caesar & it was very good with just the right amount of kick to it. The decor is nice in there with so many eclectic touches throughout. They had the playoff game on several big screens around & although it seemed like our fellow diners weren't necessarily watching the game, the minute the Habs scored the restaurant erupted into cheers! Nice ambiance to watch the game after all!View more
It's been a while & it's better than I had remembered. Smash burger was good & switched the fries for onion rings. Will come back again with the family....the kids like CE the Mac & cheese!View more
We went with a group & was received very well. Ordered drinks & food service was great. Then the plates came. We were not told all buns were pink so to our surprise everyone got a pink burger. Those buns were cardboard & dry. Unfortunately I was not able to finish my plate (which is rare). Unfortunately wasn't able to tell waitress as they only came by at the end. The atmosphere was fun & the waitresses were nice.View more
Burger prices are a bithigh for the kind of burgers served here. That being said the burgers are ok. Not badView more

Belle ambiance décontractée. Les burgers sont divins! Notre serveuse était très attentionnée. Superbe soirée entre chumsView more
We moved to the area 3.5 years ago & have never tried eating here. I was expecting more. I ordered the cheeseburger with bacon & egg. The burger was dry, the bacon was hard & the bun was old & chewy. There wasn't enough sauce to cover the dryness of the burger. It was inedible. Will not come back again.View more
Fun atmosphere...however we were waitinf a long time to get served & was a good wait to get the cheque at the end of it all. Food was nothing special very over priced for what the burgers were... the drinks were the biggest let down. 17$ for ice... ridiculous. Have not & will not return. Very surprising since i love carlos & pepes right next door....View more
A good menu with interesting burgers. We appreciated being able to switch the meat from beef to chicken or veggie. They're huge servings. Our server, Aubrey, was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed, especially lots of water on the crazy hot day we were there.View more
They have stopped using little baskets for the fries & serve a really big burger. Now they put the fries on the plate to make it look like there is a lot of food, but the burger is smaller now & doesn't fill you up like it used to.View more
View more
We walked in on a Thursday at 12:45 & were shocked at how many available seats there were. What's going on? Does this place do more business on the weekend? It doesn't matter. The burger will be good either way. Right? Let's order....we both ordered the St. Tite smash burger. After cutting the burger in half because of its size, that first bite was heaven. So was the second. The beef was so tasty on its own. There is no need for condiments. But the burger, cheese, pickles, & BBQ sauce did add a special punch. Now the fries...fresh cut, perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. The coleslaw was ok but not great. I found it too creamy & needed some spices: just pepper would have been good. But you're going for the burgers, not the slaw.View more
Wow, what great burger selections. & loved the atmosphere. One wall full of bookshelves, the other wall floor to ceiling bar shelves.View more
View more
My family was disappointed in the food & service. For example I wanted to try their burgers, their specialty. It was dry & the cheese seems to come from a squeeze bottle. The fries were over cooked. My wife & kids were not impressed by the food. It also took 45 to get served burgers. The waitress never came to see us. I had to ask if the food was coming by asking the hostess. The look of the place is nice however. Well decorated with memorabilia. This was our first & last time. Pity, I like burgers.View more
We went in at 5 pm & sat at a 4 seats table. Then the server excused us to take the 2nd table to make a 2 table for the clients next to us & mind u the tables are tiny while there were alot of tables around us that were empty & stayed that way till we left at 6:15. Now regarding the food, we got the wings with the hot sauce, the wings were tiny & had a funny taste we got it with their hot sauce which costs an extra $3 & no veggies were beside the wings. For burgers we had the philly which was dry, had some hard pieces & had a disgusting taste from the seem to be canned mushrooms & once i took the mushrooms off the burger it was tasteless but atleast the disgusting taste wasnt there. I told our waitress about the mushrooms she just said sorry & that was it. My wife got the lolla sangria which was delicious & la belle burger which was okbut still dry , we paid $2 extra for house salad instead of fries but they took off the pickle & the coleslaw for some reason with it. All in all this place was better before but for what I got for $112 will not be going there againView more
Food was very poor which is a shame as I've eaten multiple times at la Belle & La boeuf Gatineau & it's fantastic. Slow service & we were sat at a weird wobbly table with people sitting on a high top over us. We asked to move & they said that everything else was reserved. So even though the restaurant was almost empty we sat at the bar. We finished our meal & the dining room was still mostly empty even though it was an hour later? My friend didn't eat her burger, it was very greasy & congealed & the pink bun (cancer awareness apparently) looked gross.View more
Amazing selection of burgers (I had the Dallas which was smokey deliciousness) & drinks, a cool vibe & great service. Very fun place to est!View more

Delicious food, I had smoked meat in my burger & the portion was generous!View more
Was there last Friday, 2023 Aug 18 around 1900h. A busy night, lots of noise & activity. Wooden floor heaved due to previous flooding. Ordered burgers 1 mme Pac Mac & 1 la chevre (goat cheese). Waited a long time. Both burgers arrived undeniably DRY & lacking taste (seems the patty is just meat & nothing else - at least that's how it tasted. IMHO, the Mme Pac Mac should not be on the menu - the addition of fried chunks of cheese macaroni adds nothing to the taste/experience - just comes out gooey - not something I can appreciate in a burger. The house salad that I had was fine but had a very spicy vinaigrette that not all folks would tolerate - poor choice by the chef, if he wants to appeal to the largest audience.View more
The atmosphere is quite nice..the staff is terrific ! But don't expect much from their $20+ burgers..nor from the administration
