We had our company Christmas party at La Belle & La Boeuf & we could not have asked for a better place. The service was amazing, food & drinks were delicious & the atmosphere was fantastic!
The only good thing was the service, the drink . Everything else was either mediocre or even worse. The burgers are horrible. Do not recommend
Souper en couple, un mardi soir. Notre serveuse a été parfaite, connaissait bien son menu & les drinks. La bouffe était correcte & correspondait bien à la description du menu. Mais que se passe-t-il avec ce restaurant ? À chaque fois que nous y sommes allés, peu importe la journée de la semaine, il y avait peu de clients. La raison: on ne ressent pas d'âme, l'ambiance est inexistante, pourtant la décoration est originale. Autres raisons, les télés diffusent des émissions anodines qui ne nous accrochent pas, le choix musical est n'importe quoi sauf intéressant, & la musique franchement dérangeante (j'insiste) qui provient des cuisines joue à tue-tête une toute autre sélection. Une nouvelle promotion de Facebook veut nous ramener à ce restaurant, elle a réussi cette fois, mais pour constater que cette succursale n'a pas un bel avenir. Ce restaurant ressemble plus à une cafétéria bien décorée mais sans âme; il n'y a aucun plaisir d'aller y manger. En comparaison, La Cage (& le Zibo) ont vraiment compris l'importance de faire vivre une « expérience » aux clients.
Food is good but unfortunately the service takes away from that. We were there with our 4yr old daughter. Restaurant was not busy & still took approximately 15 minutes to get drinks & then 50 mins to get our food. We were about to leave & asked the waitress to cancel our order & then magically the food appeared. Hoping that they can get the kitchen sorted out because the restaurant was not very busy & 50 mins is not an acceptable amount of time to serve food. Until then we will not be returning.
This place has gone through many changes since it opened years ago. Their highest point was when they opened but went down hill slowly afterwards. My husband & I started away from there for a few years & then decided to give it another try last year & we were pleasantly surprised that they changed again for the better this time. It steadily became our regular place to eat.
Unfortunately the owner sold to a new person & now... Well the last time we went (last week) was not the greatest. The staff, while friendly, took a lot of time to come back to the table to either take our order, or see if we wanted anything else to drink but I could overlook it. My real problem is the food & I'm not sure if it's because of the new owner or the chain itself is changing. The chicken burger was a lower quality frozen chicken (before you could see that it was a real chicken breast & not processed into pulp), the actual burger tasted like there may be a filler in it now (possibly a frozen burger now instead of it being fresh) or they did something to it as my husband felt extra bloated after eating it & he only gets that way with frozen foods. They also changed the French fries... Add all that along with the wait & I just don't know if we are going to go back. At the price of the food, you'd expect fresh food, not frozen & it's really disappointing when restaurants change things for the worst to save money because this is why you lose customers.
Ambiance de dj un vendredi soir! C'est assez vide par contre & on a décidé d'aller sur la terrasse; musique trop forte à l'intérieur! La serveuse était super! Très gentille & souriante; est venue nous voir souvent....mais c'est pas ça le problème! C'est les drinks! Leur spécialité'pots Masson' sont remplis au 2/3 de glace! Après ça tu peux facilement couper dans le contenu....qui est pas fameux. . C'est cool de temps en temps mais j'irais pas là tous les vendredis soirs. J'avais donné un 5/5 il y a un an. Vous venez de descendre pour un martini très horrible!! & j'ai compris. Dès qu'on sort de leur champ de compétence, oubliez ça, ils savent pas faire un drink. Un martini au litchi, j'en ai bu plein dans ma vie & ce que vous m'avez servi hier soir vendredi 8 août 2025 était dégueulasse! Trop sucré, très acide & jaune!😳😳. Ça a conclu ma soirée en amoureux avec un goût amer dans le fond de la gorge....
We went with a group & was received very well. Ordered drinks & food service was great. Then the plates came. We were not told all buns were pink so to our surprise everyone got a pink burger. Those buns were cardboard & dry. Unfortunately I was not able to finish my plate (which is rare). Unfortunately wasn't able to tell waitress as they only came by at the end. The atmosphere was fun & the waitresses were nice.
Great restaurant to go to with friends for a fun night out. Very nice atmosphere with good music & good food. The service was a bit slow considering it wasn't a busy night & the portions have definitely decreased in size compared to previous visits & the prices have gone up. Have a great variety of drinks that have never disappointed.
Fun atmosphere...however we were waitinf a long time to get served & was a good wait to get the cheque at the end of it all. Food was nothing special very over priced for what the burgers were... the drinks were the biggest let down. 17$ for ice... ridiculous. Have not & will not return. Very surprising since i love carlos & pepes right next door....
Aubrey gave us excellent service & was very friendly & attentive. She really made our experience more enjoyable & all the food & drinks were delicious. We'll be back again soon.
Stopped by for drinks & appetizers- everything was amazing! The swimming bull drink was next level & the chicken wings, onion rings, salmon tartare & poutine were delicious. Our waitress Aubrey was great & super friendly which topped off the entire experience. This place is definitely worth a visit, we will be back very soon!
Overall, not bad. I'll be honest, the service was slightly slow, & it wasn't that busy. The food & drinks were really good. I just found it strange that we only got asked if we wanted drinks when we got the waiter's/waitress's attention. All in all, it's still a good place to eat & fun for events.
Restaurant has a cool ambiance & style, lots of decorations, & great for those looking for a cool spot to go to. Menu is on the more expensive side, the food is good however very tasteful & a large variety of drink options (alcohol & non alcohol.) Giving a 4 star due to long wait times to place our Order & long to get the meals & drinks although we hadn't ordered much , but overall staff friendly & courteous.

Amazing selection of burgers (I had the Dallas which was smokey deliciousness) & drinks, a cool vibe & great service. Very fun place to est!
Understaffed establishment & arrogant/combative manager.
Reserved 12 places for my son’s birthday for 5:30pm. We arrived at 5:32pm & all guests were there by 5:45pm due to single lane traffic on the bridge. Waitress was very nice & took our drink order within the first 10 minutes. We ordered a variety of cocktails & received our drinks again within 10 minutes which was good.
The problems arose at this point when our order wasn’t taken for 45 minutes. The kids started to get restless & to the credit of the waitress she was overloaded working both sides of the restaurant. We patiently waited & finally placed our order. 1 hour passes before anything is served. At this point I ask the front hostess to speak with the manager since the kids were pretty hungry & if the wait was much longer - we would simply go somewhere else.
Queue the manager - who comes from the back with a tone of aggression instead of understanding. An example - he immediately starts reviewing timelines. The fact that we haven’t in fact been waiting 2 hours but 1 hour 45 minutes & that he could check the cameras. He then states the fact that we are a party of 27 people should factor in to our patience… however I correct him & state we are a party of 12, not 27. This is the only time his demeanour slightly changes. After going back & forth over cameras, times & semantics - I ask what the resolution is here. He mentions he will try to get the food out soon & that something will be done for the long initial wait. Food comes out about 20 minutes after that conversation.
At the end of the meal the waitress offers us 3 sets of small donuts approved by her manager… which I assume is for the initial wait. We decline & I go to speak with the manager who has now left. Any decent manager would come by the table & at the very least check to see how the food was after debating a customer over cameras for 10 minutes.
Food was fairly decent but the service was abysmal.
