The staff at this restaurant is terrible & incompetent; they do not respond properly to customers or to their superiors. They are very lazy-the food is always served late, & the orders are never complete.
If a customer has time to waste, they might go here; otherwise, they should look elsewhere, because visiting this place just means wasting time & eating bad food.
The worst person of all is the one who calls himself the supervisor; the staff working under him have also become just like him.
Cuisine généreuse de qualité asie du sud-est, service enjoué & à l'écoute, prix doux...visite incontournable dans le chinatown de Montréal!
We came here with a group of 10 & ordered the set menu. There was an impressive amount of food, & the portions were very generous, we even had leftovers to take home. The overall value was excellent considering how much we ate.
The food was good & tasted very authentic, though I did feel that a few dishes were a bit repetitive in terms of ingredients & preparation. Also, on this particular visit, several dishes leaned a little saltier than I would have preferred.
Service was what you'd typically expect from a busy Cantonese restaurant: efficient & straightforward. Overall, it's a solid spot for large family-style meals, especially if you're looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine & great value.
One Saturday, I had lunch here & ordered a fried noodle dish that was about $18. When it was time to pay, the owner told me the total was $27. At the time, I didn't calculate the total with tax & tip, & I asked whether the tip had been included. He said no, so I generously gave an additional $5 tip (all in cash).
On my way home, I did the math & realized that the $27 had most likely already included all taxes & a tip. I was genuinely shocked that the owner appeared to have intentionally overcharged me & then accepted an additional tip after telling me that no tip had been included. I hope other customers will double-check their bills before paying.
