We ordered drinks & they came after we finished our food but everything else was great

Great food, questionable service. What more can you ask for? The pork cutlets are great, & the seafood is also well known here.

I think I already wrote a review for this restaurant. But here's some warnings & advices for you to get the best experience. I've been often by myself, never felt judged & I ordered for five every time because I wanted it all! What you need to expect: you have to SHARE your meals. Plates will be served as they're ready. That's how most of Chinese restaurants works. Do not order meals that aren't Chinese. I'm thinking pad Thai or general Tao (go in a food court for that). Order whats on the walls. Ask your waiter for recommendations. Be bold & try new things. Be polite to the staff. To me, it's the best restaurant I've visit in Montreal & the bad comments makes me sad to see how people are close minded. That's going to be all.

The food was flavorful, but the service was not very good. Four dishes + One large bowl of rice were enough for five people. The prices were decent, averaging around 23$ per person.

This restaurant serves excellent Cantonese cuisine. The quality is just as good as you get in Toronto or Vancouver. We had gai lan choy vegetable, Mei Tsai ko rou, deep fried tofu salt & pepper style. On a previous visit we had excellent clams with black bean sauce, & eggplant-green pepper-tofu stuffed with chopped shrimp. Ambiance is humble, but I would go here for the food, not the surroundings.

Phenomenal noodles & beef, beef & enoki, & quite good eggplants. The rise is steamed to perfection, nice texture & stickyness, not too sticky not too stiff, not too wet, not too dry. Goldilocks steamed rice 🍚

Súper deli, la mejor comida china que he probado. Quizá los meseros podrían poner mejor cara pero en general me gusta mucho y lo recomiendo.

Great Montreal Chinese. Still my favorite. Best egg foo yung ever. Always consistent. Almost all customers are Chinese

Really authentic Cantonese style Chinese! A local Chinese who works as a tour guide recommended place to us. Mostly Asian guests in restaurant. We enjoyed food so much we ate dinner here 2 nights in a row. No frills, basic decor, you're here for the great food at reasonable prices. Salt & Pepper crispy pork chop. Sizzling Beef rolled around Enoki Mushroom. Jellyfish as a cold appetizer. Scallops with Choi Sum. Grouper with pork & tofu (fish does have bones) House bone broth was complimentary. You need to go upstairs to reach this restaurant. After 6pm the place was full & people were waiting. We arrived at 530, no wait. Hard to find parking in Chinatown. Our hotel was in Downtown Montreal. We used Uber about $12 CAD one way. Car can't pull up to restaurant (pedestrian walkway). Restaurant is only 2 minutes walk from where Uber dropped us off. Restaurant on right, don't forget it's the one upstairs.

Spring roll was good, the waitress was very fast.

Good option for good & cheap food, there are a lot of combos for 2 or more people to choose from, good if you want to try multiple dishes. Price is around 40 before taxes for a combo for 2. Not the best I had in the area but a nice place nonetheless.

It seems that a lot of people are mistakenly reviewing Keung Kee as Restaurant Ethan. You can see for yourselves the difference in the photos. Ethan has wood tables & dimsum & is at the first floor. Keung Kee is on the second floor with white plastic table cloths. Keung Kee has the best Cantonese seafood in Montreal.

Le meilleur en ville.

The perfect "cheap" dumpling for the price. They are not the best, but they are one of the cheapest quick bites that you can go for in China town that's not just a simply pastry. I would recommend for a quick takeout. The sit-down part itself is fine, but I think there are still better places around depending on what you're looking for. The staff was fine but also not overly friendly, but it's fine.

We love the general tao of the downstairs restaurant, but the porc noodle soup just let us down, a white phosphory broth with no taste, overcooked noodles & fried pork, with a dull taste. Please do better.

Not a true Cantonese food, food are extremely salty. Not recommended.

Plats généreux. Si vous avez un petit appétit prenez les petites portions. Il y en a pour tout les prix de 6 dollars les dumplings frits à 76 dollars pour le canard laqué. Très bon endroit pour manger à petit prix.
