Quality Chinese (Cantonese style) food at reasonable prices. The best Chinese food I have had in Montreal's China town. Try the Won Ton soup & Yang-Chow fried rice.

Dived into this place for lunch as it was busy & torrential rain outside meant didn't want to shop around. Then saw the reviews... Ouch! Dim Sum A for 2 people was good, lots of it, left full. The staff just looked so miserable, like this was the last place on earth they wanted to be, which was a shame. Otherwise, no problems.

La comida china nunca falla. Es sabrosa, abundante y casi siempre económica. Este restaurante TE OBLIGA a dejar propina. Me resulta incómodo, pero no tuve otra opción que darle lo que me pidió.

Food were So freaking good! The guy looked after us is super nice & welcoming, I'm guessing he's the owner or at least a member of the owners family. We will 100% be back!

The prices & the fast service are the strongest points of this restaurant, but also the food that is very fresh & the portions are very generous. A good location for a lunch/dinner in chinatown saving money. Toilets could be more clean & the tip is compulsory (at least 12%). Service polite & fast.

I haven't eaten here in over a decade since moving to Toronto, but still one of the best Chinese restaurants in Montreal - as is evident by being packed on a Wednesday night. Lots of vegetarian options!

Not recommended - there are ample other choices nearby. This is our genuine experience if you do want an honest review. First impressions were dreadful; we entered into a full restaurant (which is often a good sign) & headed a few steps to a vacant table by the window but within seconds got shouted at by a female who literally (throwing her arms around) ordered us to the back & shouted the table in the front was for six people. We should have really exited at that point. She was so rude. The three of us were seated at the back, literally squeezed in, adjacent to a table of 12 they had put together. The condition of the restaurant was poor, it's not clean, the floors ripped seats, tables, even the staff - needs a real deep clean - we used plenty of hand sanitiser. They even give you plastic plates to eat from - literally those you get at a children's party - unbelievable. The male staff members who took our order were fine, & the food arrived very quickly, literally minutes. The food itself was ok to disappointing due to it being very salty & greasy. Please avoid at all costs the aubergine dish - the size of the aubergine pieces were ridiculous, we couldn't eat it, you would literally need a knife & fork. The portions of the food are generous, & their pricing is on the cheaper side (which aligns with the lower quality dished to customers). The final interesting bit was the bill. Due to the extremely rude women earlier on, I click on "no" for the tip. The girl at the till then asked if I was therefore going to pay by card & leave the 20% separately. I didn't honestly understand what she meant & the rude women from earlier then came over to explain the tip must be paid as its for the staff. I had endured enough of her & this restaurant by this point & to avoid causing a drama on our first visit to canada i decided it was easier to pay the minimum tip & leave as soon as I could. Note that on paying the tip I didn't receive any thanks at all. There are so many excellent alternatives nearby, do avoid this, unless you want poor service, an unclean environment, children party plates, salty food & being ordered that you must pay a tip, without any thanks at the end.

This is the best, truly authentic Cantonese food experience I have found in Montreal. I had the Beef & Tofu Hot Pot (Ngau Lam Tofu Bo?) & it was perfect, rich sauce, lots of tender nuggets of beef & tofu, & heaps of gai-lan, ginger & onions. The service & atmosphere is exactly the vibe I expected from a traditional Chinese eatery where the food speaks for itself. I will be back again, & again, with friends. I can't wait!

Great food, questionable service. What more can you ask for? The pork cutlets are great, & the seafood is also well known here.

I think I already wrote a review for this restaurant. But here's some warnings & advices for you to get the best experience. I've been often by myself, never felt judged & I ordered for five every time because I wanted it all! What you need to expect: you have to SHARE your meals. Plates will be served as they're ready. That's how most of Chinese restaurants works. Do not order meals that aren't Chinese. I'm thinking pad Thai or general Tao (go in a food court for that). Order whats on the walls. Ask your waiter for recommendations. Be bold & try new things. Be polite to the staff. To me, it's the best restaurant I've visit in Montreal & the bad comments makes me sad to see how people are close minded. That's going to be all.

The food was flavorful, but the service was not very good. Four dishes + One large bowl of rice were enough for five people. The prices were decent, averaging around 23$ per person.

This restaurant serves excellent Cantonese cuisine. The quality is just as good as you get in Toronto or Vancouver. We had gai lan choy vegetable, Mei Tsai ko rou, deep fried tofu salt & pepper style. On a previous visit we had excellent clams with black bean sauce, & eggplant-green pepper-tofu stuffed with chopped shrimp. Ambiance is humble, but I would go here for the food, not the surroundings.

Phenomenal noodles & beef, beef & enoki, & quite good eggplants. The rise is steamed to perfection, nice texture & stickyness, not too sticky not too stiff, not too wet, not too dry. Goldilocks steamed rice 🍚
