By rolling, kettling, and baking traditional Montreal Bagels in a wood-burning oven using hand-picked hardwood, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to the traditional quality of the food, we have become a food institution — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year — for over 25 years. Bagels moyens, le spécial au saumon était ok mais le turkey n’avait pas trop de goût & mal préparé, il y en avait partout en ouvrant la boite. Par ailleurs, dommage que la viennoiserie à la cannelle ne soit pas fraiche.
Service agréable, endroit propre & prix correct malgré tout.

Restaurant jolie, mais l’attente est longue. On voit également le travail en direct , mais aussi les bagels brûlé. Prix raisonnable. En somme, un resto bien ordinaire, rien de spécial

Not my cup of tea/coffee.
Too much different from where I am from. Cold, no-effort, unattractive 24/7 coffeeshop. They need to change the products honestly.
Only baristas are friendly.

Me & my son were looking for a good place to eat & I remembered someone told me about how great the bagels were in Montreal. We stopped at Kettlemans Bagel on Rue de la Montagne last night & ended up coming back the next afternoon. It was a great experience both times. Everyone was friendly & the bagels, the bagal sandwiches & the various pastries were Awesome! If we find ourselves in Montreal again we will definitely come back to Kettlemans.

Very pretty place. Bagel was just ok. They gave you a remote that vibrates when your order is ready. Latke is pretty bad. 3 bucks & it's doughy, slightly burnt yet undercooked.

Bagel & cream cheese was 5 bucks.

Update 08/2023

Decided to go in again & got a fritter.

It was so oily, it seeped through the bag & napkins.

Took a chance & bit into it & spat it out. I was raw inside. It was soaked in oil & the flour tasted raw. The inside is extremely gummy & disgusting.

Will not be trying kettleman's again.
