I ate a ham & cheese bagel here with the herb bagel. It came with a pickle which was a tasty bonus! Everything was delicious. The store was very clean & well stocked. The staff was polite & nice to us. The location is great & the store was super clean. I love the ambience of the restaurant.
First time in Montreal, we discover that a local specialty is BAGELS (I thought New York had the monopoly of that), & upon the recommendation of the staff in our hotel for a good place nearby, we rush to Kettlemans to check it out. Well, we were not disappointed: the bagels are very good, with all the necessary condiments (various types of cream cheese, lox, onions, etc.). Staff was friendly & efficient, the place is new, clean & well organised. We will go back.
This Bagel shop is my first time. Came here to buy a 12 Bagels.
Pros:
A) It's in downtown. That's the best part.
B) It's open 24 Hours.
C) You can eat inside & they have plenty of seats available.
D) The spot & place looks clean.
Cons:
A) The bagel is okay the taste is good but I like more taste when it comes to the bagel nothing serious though.
B) Service can be slow as there is only 2 cash register.
C) They need to have more details about the shop outside like opening hours & the rating by the health inspectors etc.
Conclusion:
It's okay bagel shop hope to try their specialties but for now I think I will stay away from this shop.
I hope they improve in terms of taste, quality good people & customers relations.
The service was really nice, super cool people. The bagels were pretty good. Dining area & restrooms were clean, which is a plus compared to some places nearby. Will definitely go back.
Kettlemans Bagel is a delightful spot for bagel enthusiasts looking for fresh & delicious offerings. The store is clean & has a good atmosphere. The bagels are fresh, with several varieties to choose from. They also offer a selection of gourmet items, either to buy separately, or add to your bagel, such as artisanal cream cheeses & smoked salmon. They also have a few freshly made pastries. Their prices are good & acceptable However, my visit had a few downsides. When I inquired about a couple of sandwiches from the menu, I was disappointed to learn that some ingredients were unavailable. Additionally, I noticed a concerning issue: there were a few flies around the pastry section, occasionally landing on the pastries. This detracted from an otherwise good experience. Overall, while the food quality is commendable, attention to cleanliness in certain areas could be improved.
Split feelings, it was my first time visiting this place, super clean & not busy at all i was the only one in. Many people came but most order & leave. I got the breakfast bagle, never had a bagle that dry before. Took it in trio with some hashbrowns looking greassy things. Could not identify & taste was to much onions. Coffee was good, hot & strong. Not much info from this fast food place, try it out & see if you have a better experience.
It was so cool to be able to watch them make the bagels in front of us. The young woman at the counter was really sweet as well. My chocolate bagel was delicious however when I got home & began eating it, I bit into a piece of metal. Looks like from a wire brush possibly used to clean a stove? It really hurt my teeth/ but the bagel was delicious anyway. Also fairly priced I think for fresh hand made food.

By chance, I visited the place today.I needed a light bite on the go & thought it's worth trying their bagel.
I tried the one with Salmon Trio .It tastes excellent .
The staff was nice, the washroom was very clean.
