Great bagel shop in the heart of downtown Montreal but this morning they had no fresh bagels. Unacceptable for a 24/7 bagel shop. They offered me a 0.50$ discount on a bag of yesterdays bagels. It would be better to have two prices, one for fresh & one for supermarket grade plastic bagged bagels at the supermarket price.
We stopped by before Cirque du Soleil show to get some bagels & drinks, & after checking receipt I noticed that the cashier charged me for two extra drinks, which amounted to about extra $7 in total. I went to the register & it took him & a manager about 10 mins to issue credit for those imaginary drinks. Meanwhile, my bagel & coffee were getting cold. & nobody even apologized to me for overcharging & for the wait. It never happened to me in US so I would suggest to ask for receipt & verify the items.
Ça fait deux fois que j'y vais & à chaque fois plein de monde dans la cuisine, on se fait regarder, ça traîne des pieds, mais personne viens nous servir ou va dire à son collègue qu'il y a quelqu'un au comptoir. Ça a pris au moins 20 min avant d'avoir un bagel & il y a eu une erreur.
Kettlemans Bagel is a gem! Just imagine a world where bagels are the ultimate sandwich! A world where your wildest imagination can be put in a delicious fresh bagel. Kettlemans is that magical place.
J'ai pris le "Poulet, bacon & fromage fondu". Le fromage était même pas fondu, alors que c'est le nom du bagel. Aussi, le bagel était froid. Un peu ironique. Le goût était quand même pas pire & c'est frais, mais considérant le prix, je ne pense pas que ça vaut la peine. Si vous voulez vraiment que votre fromage soit fondue, alors précisez-le à la caisse parce qu'apparement ça à pas l'air d'être claire.

It was so cool to be able to watch them make the bagels in front of us. The young woman at the counter was really sweet as well. My chocolate bagel was delicious however when I got home & began eating it, I bit into a piece of metal. Looks like from a wire brush possibly used to clean a stove? It really hurt my teeth/ but the bagel was delicious anyway. Also fairly priced I think for fresh hand made food.
The bagels are REALLY good . However , dont EVER order the ceasar salad! I thought itd be « authentic » since the bagels are good but its terrivle! Fake ceasae dressing, the parmesan is not real parmesan 1/10.. 1 is for the bagel « croutons « which werent even toasted & look like they were cut by hands.. 12$ for a small portion they call big.. the date squares are also horrible
