Again Never disappointed !!!!! Absolutely fantastic sushi. The fish was incredibly fresh, the rice perfectly seasoned, & every roll was balanced & thoughtfully prepared. You can tell a lot of care goes into the ingredients & presentation. The menu had a great mix of classic options & creative specials, & everything we tried was excellent. Service was friendly & attentive without being overbearing, & the atmosphere was relaxed but polished. Easily one of the best sushi spots. Quality food & excellent service especially the owner that is always present to greet his customers.

I recently visited Kazumi Sushi Lounge, & it was easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming - stylish yet relaxed - & the staff made me feel right at home.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, & every dish came out beautifully presented. The sushi was incredibly fresh - you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. We ordered the Chef's Special & was not disappointed in one dish, all melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
The pacing of the meal was spot-on. You can tell this place takes pride in both its food & its customer experience.
Whether you're a sushi lover or just looking for a place that delivers top-notch food & great vibes, Kazumi Sushi Lounge is an absolute gem. I'll definitely be back soon!
This is by far the best sushi restaurant I have been to. My husband & I have been eating there for the past ten years. The quality & freshness of the fish are outstanding, every single time! The flavour combinations are simply beyond compare. The presentation is a work of art & the taste is just incredible. There's always a lineup & the price is worth every penny. NOT TO BE MISSED! KAZUMI is the very best!!

We had the pleasure of dining there again yesterday, & as always, our expectations were exceeded. From the moment we were warmly greeted, the service was flawless. Within minutes, we were comfortably seated, served water & green tea, & even provided with a bucket of ice to ensure our wine stayed perfectly chilled-a thoughtful touch that exemplifies their attention to detail. As longtime fans, we once again chose the chef's tasting menu, which has never failed to amaze us. This time, however, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The creations presented were so innovative, so meticulously crafted, that we firmly believe the chef is deserving of a Michelin star. Every dish was a testament to his commitment to excellence. The ingredients were of impeccable quality-fresh, vibrant, & perfectly balanced. Each plate arrived at the ideal temperature & was accompanied by a detailed explanation of its composition, along with recommendations on how to savor it fully. Watching the chefs work their magic just meters from our table added a captivating layer to the evening, turning the meal into a performance as much as a feast. One standout moment was witnessing the chef carefully shave fresh black truffle over a beautifully baked oyster, a masterpiece both in presentation & taste. My absolute favorite sushi restaurant. The quality is amazing, unbelievable presentation. We make a point to do the far drive to eat here & bring all of our friends for special occasions.
Kazumi really offers a high quality experience for food, service & vibes on a budget. The outside look does not represent the interior's atmosphere : clean floors/tables/decor, chic warm shallow lighting, confortable seating, quiver yet reserved music, very friendly staff. The food itself was very good - a lot of well-made asian-fusion, while keeping japan imports quality. They offer a lot of'off-the-menu' items & really shine with very creative & very polarizing food mixture - which to our amusement were surprising at first, blending well & exploding of fabulous flavours. After going to okeya kyujiro, parks & other high ends around montreal & in Japan, I was not expecting this from such an affordable price point. Furthermore, this is bring your own wine & convinitently has an SAQ within a 30 second walk - this said, there is no wine pairing, but they do have all glasses required for wine & sake. Well done Kazumi !
Their sushi uses fresh & good quality ingredients! Love how they decorated our takeout order. The prices might be a bit expensive, but it's quite good.
The last plate the cod in the menu didnt reflect the quality of all the other plates in that Onikawa menu. It was so good for all the others & to serve this at the end didnt really finish it well.
Never disappointed when we come to Kazumi. Consistent quality in service & ingredients. It's always better to reserve in advance as it gets quite busy on Fridays & Saturdays. The only drawback on busy days is the noise level can get loud in the dining area. We went on a Sunday recently & it was much more reasonable in this regard. Other than this, we'll keep coming back.
We love this place for special occasions such as birthdays, gathering among old friends, visitors from out of town, etc., because we know the quality of food & service will not disappoint.
This time we did take out order. Again, beautiful presentation & fresh food, which is a must for a sushi place. We had Sushi & sashimi combo & we chose our own 5 maki rolls. We truely enjoyed it, even the kids. :)
