Kalbi Korean BBQ, grill and sushi all you can eat - Our concept its Paper grilling - the newest invention in Korean BBQ. Korean paper BBQ: Paper BBQ is an innovation in South Korean cuisine. The grill is covered with a special paper, absorbing the excess oil produced by the meat without losing its flavor and nutritional value. Hence, the food keeps its moisture and spices. The paper sheet is disposable, that helps to retain excess fat and cleanliness of the grill. This is a Elegant and comfortable decorate restaurant, and the dim light effect which makes the environment relaxing and perfect for a date, friends, group party (2 private rooms for 20 and 30 people) and families! Also we have the ventilation system for each table that exhausts the smoke from the grill, very enjoyable.
Kalbi BBQ draws a mix of impressions, with fast service and a vibrant, crowd-friendly ambiance that many reviewers enjoy, especially the all-you-can-eat format that offers a wide range of meats and sushi, and the playful robot servers that add fun to the meal. The dining experience is often described as value for money and easy to share with friends, with convenient ordering and efficient cooking at the table. On the other hand, some guests note inconsistent freshness, items that are missing or priced extra (like certain desserts or lettuce), and price-to-value concerns, along with reports of high noise levels, heat or cold pockets, and occasional delays or seating issues. Overall Kalbi BBQ is seen as a fun, energetic option with good service and solid variety, but not every visit meets expectations in freshness, comfort, or pricing.
They charged my group a mandatory 15% service fee AFTER tax, because we were a large group. However we got separated into 5 different tables & the robot served us literally the entire time. I'm not sure if this is even legal to charge the tip after tax. I hope it wasn't on purpose but i think the same girl charged all of us one by one so that would add up to a lot of extra money spent/earned & i don't believe it's ethical. They did tell us about the service fee in advance so I'm not complaining about that part, just the fact that we were barely even served. Just once at the beginning to seat us & explain things.
Aside from that, service was good though, as in, the waiter greeted us & was happy to explain what drinks there were. After giving the drink, he left & didn't give us water so we just asked the kitchen if we could take a pitcher of water. I tried to get his attention a few times but I'm not sure if he was looking in our direction. Not sure if it's normal.
Food was good as well but it's a bit overpriced. I understand because it's near downtown though. The pitcher of alcohol was really worth it & it tasted good.

Overrated to be honest they are better all-you-can-eat places that are cheaper as well. 50 plus $ for all-you-can-eat sushi that wasn't all of that is crazy . Also, the scenery is meh, & the chairs are so far from the table. I will never go back to be honest save your money. I love the cute server kitty robot 🐱. All jokes aside I don't recommend, save your money. In this economy with mid-quality sushi & not a lot of variety for an all-you-can-eat sushi it's a no for me.
Food was very average. I ordered shrimp tempura rolls & the shell was still on the shrimps.
They have no ice cream for dessert either when places like this usually do.
Nothing to say about the service, staff was nice & taking away dishes as soon as they were empty
Deliceux repas en format illimité. Choix de viandes & légumes à faire cuire soi-même au centre de la table. Aussi sushis à volonté. Le service par des serveurs & robots ce qui est funny.
Came in with friends for their birthday & everything was fine until it was time to pay. As we were trying to explain to the blonde waitress how we wanted to separate the bills, she started giving attitude & gave us the reason that it was because she had a'bad day'. My friends & i felt uncomfortable being served by this rude waitress
Great spot for tourists & anyone looking for good KBBQ. All you can eat with a great selection of grill items & kitchen-made options like sushi, poke bowls, bipimbap, fried chicken, & more.

For AYCE, it's actually quite good. I'm not expecting high quality or anything. You can even get sushi, & honestly, how they crank those out so quickly astonishes me.
I think my main complaint is that if you go multiple times, you do get kinda bored with the options. It does get quite stale. Your first visit, you are just blown away that you can order on your phone, it comes to you on a robot, & that you can do this forever for as long as you finish it. It feels too good to be true. Until you go for your fourth try & you kinda want to eat something different, but you can't. I think that's just the nature of these places, but man. I'm just tired of the menu, & honestly, it's both a me & a them problem.
Also, sometimes they do miss orders & you are waiting for something that may not ever come. This is more of a problem when it gets busy in there.
The service is really good though. The atmosphere is great. I love a good moody lighting, & they played some 2000s & 2010s music in the background, which is my jam.
personnel accueillant ambiance calme, point négative la madame albinos aucun respect franchement il faudrait laisser sa place à quelqu'un de meilleure la bouffe est bonne

First time at a Korean BBQ place. Food was delicious. Got right in around 1:30 pm without a reservation. You order via a QR code & a cute kitty robot brings it to you! Loved everything but the loud rap. It was unfortunately not censored so you might not want to bring children here. There is a large, steep flight of steps to enter the restaurant, so be aware of that. Not a problem for us. Not sure if they have an elevator. Pricing was good, $34 per person for all you can eat with a 2 hour table time.
A retenir.

Service was fast & the ambiance was definitely a younger college crowd. Lots of asians eating there, which is always a good indicator of quality asian food
This place was great. Great service, great food. Meet was fresh & great marinade. The basa fillet & sweet potato tempura were my faves. Lots of options & it was all good. My nephew's loved the fried calamari & fried scallops. We had the sweet buns as dessert & they were crispy outside fluffy inside. Yummm. We did not order any sushi but what we saw people getting looked divine & good portions, & the fish food so fresh.
To address the negative comments I have seen said:
NO a tip was not added to my bill by the staff automatically.
Price was for those saying expensive, it is all you can eat meat, veggies, sides, seafood & sushi. It was 44 per adult & 28 per kid. Only a few items you paid extra for like 2 of the desserts.
Also as for portion, I found them perfect. Small yes, but if you want more then when ordering instead of doing 1 portion do 2 or 3.
