Display Allsushi(73) robot(68) bbq(52) recommend(39) korean(32) all you can eat(29) viande(27) price(23) à volonté(19) dessert(18) prix(18) tip(18)Overrated to be honest they are better all-you-can-eat places that are cheaper as well. 50 plus $ for all-you-can-eat sushi that wasn't all of that is crazy . Also, the scenery is meh, & the chairs are so far from the table. I will never go back to be honest save your money. I love the cute server kitty robot 🐱. All jokes aside I don't recommend, save your money. In this economy with mid-quality sushi & not a lot of variety for an all-you-can-eat sushi it's a no for me.
Great spot for tourists & anyone looking for good KBBQ. All you can eat with a great selection of grill items & kitchen-made options like sushi, poke bowls, bipimbap, fried chicken, & more.
For AYCE, it's actually quite good. I'm not expecting high quality or anything. You can even get sushi, & honestly, how they crank those out so quickly astonishes me.
I think my main complaint is that if you go multiple times, you do get kinda bored with the options. It does get quite stale. Your first visit, you are just blown away that you can order on your phone, it comes to you on a robot, & that you can do this forever for as long as you finish it. It feels too good to be true. Until you go for your fourth try & you kinda want to eat something different, but you can't. I think that's just the nature of these places, but man. I'm just tired of the menu, & honestly, it's both a me & a them problem.
Also, sometimes they do miss orders & you are waiting for something that may not ever come. This is more of a problem when it gets busy in there.
The service is really good though. The atmosphere is great. I love a good moody lighting, & they played some 2000s & 2010s music in the background, which is my jam.
First time at a Korean BBQ place. Food was delicious. Got right in around 1:30 pm without a reservation. You order via a QR code & a cute kitty robot brings it to you! Loved everything but the loud rap. It was unfortunately not censored so you might not want to bring children here. There is a large, steep flight of steps to enter the restaurant, so be aware of that. Not a problem for us. Not sure if they have an elevator. Pricing was good, $34 per person for all you can eat with a 2 hour table time.
This place was great. Great service, great food. Meet was fresh & great marinade. The basa fillet & sweet potato tempura were my faves. Lots of options & it was all good. My nephew's loved the fried calamari & fried scallops. We had the sweet buns as dessert & they were crispy outside fluffy inside. Yummm. We did not order any sushi but what we saw people getting looked divine & good portions, & the fish food so fresh.
To address the negative comments I have seen said:
NO a tip was not added to my bill by the staff automatically.
Price was for those saying expensive, it is all you can eat meat, veggies, sides, seafood & sushi. It was 44 per adult & 28 per kid. Only a few items you paid extra for like 2 of the desserts.
Also as for portion, I found them perfect. Small yes, but if you want more then when ordering instead of doing 1 portion do 2 or 3.
We had a great experience at this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. For about $100 for two adults & one child, the meal felt like very good value considering the variety & quality of food available.
We tried several types of sushi, & everything tasted fresh & well prepared. The BBQ chicken was also a nice surprise-flavorful & a good option if you want something different between sushi dishes.
The all-you-can-eat format makes the experience very satisfying because you can try many different items without worrying about ordering just one dish. Overall, it was a fun & filling dining experience in a lively Chinatown location, & it's a great spot if you want plenty of variety & fresh sushi. 🍣🥢
While the food was alright, the service & billing practices make this price point unjustifiable (55$ with taxes & tipping).
I came with a group of friends to enjoy our night. Although our group size decreased last minute from 13 to 9, the restaurant was not prepared to host the original number regardless. The grill at our designated table was broken. Had our full party arrived together on time or not, we would have been unable to sit together as planned. The broken equipment was a failure on the restaurant's part, independent of our group's attendance.
I understand the restaurant was peak-busy, but the service speed did not reflect the price point. It took over 15 minutes (signaling staff + wait time) simply to get water refilled. They food waste policy that charges 1$ per leftover. We understand the need to charge for leftovers, but the staff delivered these warnings in a certain tone which made me personally feel uncomfortable. I don't know what my friends thought, but that was how I felt.
?The meat quality relies heavily on sauces rather than the cut itself. Be aware that unlike competitors (e.g., Haidilao), desserts like ice cream are not included & cost $3 extra which is surprising to me for the price of the whole All-you-can-eat.
There are two major concerns here regarding transparency of the billing:
?A mandatory 15% service charge was applied. However, this was calculated on the post-tax total, not the pre-tax subtotal. Standard consumer norms (& Bill 72 guidelines regarding transparency) generally dictate tipping on the pre-tax amount. Calculating it after tax artificially inflates the cost. It doesn't go against the law, but I feel scammed.
?When I paid in cash, I was refused a copy of the itemized receipt showing the tip breakdown. My friends who paid by card received one. Paying in cash does not exempt a business from providing a proper receipt for record-keeping.
I just hope that the restaurant revise the service & a little bit on the food. If these get improved, I would be happy to return.
Truly a wonderful place to eat (even with the clankers delivering the food) the service was great the food was exceptional & the vibes were awesome 10/10 would recommend
The food was horrible... The beef tasted like lamb & it was so chewy i couldn't eat it.. the cheesy noodle had no taste at all & all the side dishes didnt taste good. Its a waste there are plenty of better places to go to.
Restaurant coréen all you can eat avec des sushis bons mais mous.
We had 8 ppl , 4 adults , 4 kids with 1 baby, 4 years, 8 & 12 years old. Total cost $289. One young guy server spoke Mandarin & counted my 12 years old as adult, I argued he shouldn't counted as an adult price , he said if he eats more that will count as adult( I never heard about this from Ontario having lived in Ontario for more than 20 years ) . At end my son only ate some beef , just like a child portion , my daughter only ate some sushi . & our 4 years niece ( she is very small due to premature ) had baby portion meal , so should she counted as baby price according to this server ( price based on how much you eat ??) my opinion: $289 for 8 people ( especially we didn't eat much ) not worth at all . We left less than 1 hr ( they have 2 hr limit time ) my suggestion : go to downtown Montreal they better meal deal there .
Came here on a weekend not expecting much, & wow it was great! Atmosphere was amazing, the dj Chinito made the vibe a great place for late night eats. Definitely recommend!
Wow!! This place is beautiful & so amazingly delicious I ordered too much 🤤🤩 prices are wildly fair & it's all you can eat! Meats were delicious, sushi was on point & even the sides we ordered were tasty 😋 I will be back, I say it alot but I am making a trip just for this place soon 💕
Great place. It's not the best korean bbq you can find in Montréal, but ranks very high as far as all you can eat go
Even if you value quantity over quality, there are still better options... Went twice for friends or work events. Quality is akin to the average asian all you can eat, the only "twist" is that there is k-bbq too. I have some fond memories of Korean bbq in South Korea but this restaurant is unfortunately very far from this & an address I usually recommend against... 4 stars for service because it's fun getting your plates from the cat robot.
This is my second visit. Its a favorite so far. This is a place where you grill your own food right at your table. There is a good selection of food, both grill-able & really good sushi. There's different meats, veggies, & so on to keep you happy. It's all you can eat, so it's pricier like those are. They also charge you for uneaten pieces (not a problem for my party, we ate it all). So order the dishes according to how hungry you are & don't go nuts. There's drinks (non alcohol & with alcohol) for sale (not included in the all you can eat price), & desserts (some are included, some not). You get a 2 hour sitting limit (I assume so they can get more customers in). I found it was enough for my party, because the food came quickly (& we were 2 people). TWe tried to reserve in advance for a Friday dinner, & they said they don't reserve on weekends, which I thought was weird, but we just came earlier that the time the recommended we come before to ensure a seat. Also: you get served by cute cat themed robot'waiters'. Tldr: Pricy, but worth it.
Belle place, nourriture très bonne. Service rapide. All you can eat que je recommande.
