Kalbi Korean BBQ, Sushi à volonté, BBQ coréen & grillades. Notre concept est la cuisson de papier - la nouvelle invention de barbecue coréen. BBQ de papier coréen : La cuisson de papier BBQ est une innovation dans la cuisine sud-coréenne. La grille est recouverte d'un papier spécifique qui absorbe l'excès d'huile produit par la viande sans perdre sa saveur et sa valeur nutritionnelle. Par conséquent, la nourriture conserve son humidité et ses épices. La feuille de papier est jetable, elle aide à retenir l'excès de graisse et rend la grille plus facile à nettoyer. C'est un restaurant élégant et confortablement décoré, et l'effet des lumières tamisées, rend l'environnement relaxant et parfait pour un rendez-vous galant, avec les amis, les événements de groupe (2 salles privées pour 20 et 30 personnes) et les familles! De plus, nous avons le système de ventilation pour chaque table qui évacue la fumée du grill, très agréable.
Kalbi BBQ est une expérience de barbecue coréen tout ce qu'on peut manger à Montréal, appréciée pour son concept de cuisson à table et son ambiance festive avec des robots serveurs. La carte offre une grande variété de viandes bien assaisonnées, de sushis et d accompagnements qui plaisent aux groupes et aux amateurs de partage, et plusieurs avis saluent la fraîcheur et le rapport qualité prix dans l ensemble, même si le tarif reste élevé pour ce type d offre. Des points négatifs reviennent cependant souvent: certains articles sont facturés en extra (laitue, desserts), des desserts ne sont pas toujours inclus et la qualité peut varier d'un passage à l autre; les serveurs peuvent être rapides mais les temps d attente montent lorsque le restaurant est plein ou sans réservation, et la ventilation peut être insuffisante, rendant l endroit parfois très chaud et laissant des odeurs. Dans l ensemble, l expérience demeure attrayante pour ceux qui cherchent une ambiance conviviale entre amis ou en famille et pour ceux qui veulent tester le concept unique de ce restaurant, ce qui donne envie d y revenir malgré les cas d inconstance.
Nous sommes allés un dimanche soir (à volonté) & tout était très frais (sushis, grillades, soupes, etc.) & très bon. Les marinades des viandes étaient justes parfaites (nous avons apprécié particulièrement le poisson, le boeuf AAA & l'agneau). La qualité des sushis était très bien & beaucoup de variété. Soupes, entrées, dumplings, légumes, crevettes/pétoncles/calmar tempura, général tao, etc. viennent en petites portions & rien à redire. Les commandes arrivaient vites & l'expérience avec les robots-serveurs agréable. Il est assez facile de commander avec nos cellulaires chaque commande que nous passons. La réservation par Google directement s'est bien passée. Mention au personnel discret, efficace & servi en français sans problème. On reviendra!
3.5 stars Meat was bland, thin pieces per portion. Lettuce is not free. We accidentally took all the food on the robot because the waiters did not explain to us beforehand. The ambiance was great, the place was nicely decorated & lunchtime was not crowded.
Je suis allée 2 fois à ce BBQ Coréen & ce qui m'a plus le plus était le service. Tout le staff est accueillant & la nourriture arrive rapidement, dans un robot serveur. J'aime aussi l'ambiance avec les lumières tamisées & les décorations de Noël. Par contre, il y a un manque de variété de nourriture selon moi & les plats ne sont pas les meilleurs. Il y a en plus des frais extras pour la crème glacée & toute boisson.
Fantastic AYCE BBQ & sushi! Everything was delicious. Favourite BBQ item was spicy sausage. Made a reservation. It was very easy to do online. We arrived with a few extra in our party & they were able to accommodate us. We were grateful. We got a QR code to scan to order. It's a live updating group order for the table, so just be aware for your party as you add & submit orders. If you order multiples of the same item, it's likely to be combined & arrive on a larger plate. Also, it's a busy place! Make sure to stay on top of what you ordered, especially if it's not part of the AYCE menu with an extra charge. There were a few crossed wires with ordering but my party was fine to eat anything that came (e.g. broccoli tempura vs norrmall broccoli). Smaller orders are likely to be delivered by one of their cute kitty robots! The staff are super helpful & responsive if you need to follow up on anything. The grills were flat tops & there is parchment paper to cook on. Makes for easy cleaning when you want to refresh your cooking surface. Overall the staff were so great & friendly! We were ordering soju & bottles of beer. Someone who was reviewing our orders came over to let us know he could see what we were trying to do & recommended a combination on promotion. How kind!! Also we did a group photo & they let us have the robot cat server join our party. It was awesome! We all had so much fun. & for anyone new to KBBQ reading this, a reminder that you will smell like it after the overhead suction fans can only do so much but definitely better than places that don't have them.
We went on a Monday evening closer to the kitchen closing time. The service was fine. The food was good & it was cool to have the robot serve us. Since we did not have that much time to finish everything, they were super understanding on not to charge us for everything we could not finish. Huge shout to the manager working that day thank you. The orange juice was good too but overall they have nice drink options as well.

J'ai toujours eu une expérience agréable au Kalbi j'adore l'ambiance les serveurs sont super agréable & donne une expérience incroyable (merci encore au serveur qui a accepter de jouer du twice pour mon anniversaire) la nourriture est toujours aussi bonne les sushis aussi c'est vraiment incroyable une belle expérience à vivre avec les robot chat Steven & belle🤍✨
My first time here, I saw great reviews so I was excited, the service was fantastic, great servers, cute robots, & fast service. The was great, I loved the basa fish, lots of flavour, all the sushi is amazing, everything was fresh. I definitely recommend getting a reservation, I didn't & we had to wait 30-40 minutes for a table, it was very busy. We will definitely come back
Came on a Friday night with a friend. There was no wait time, so I was seated right away while I waited for my friend. It was my first time, & we were greeted with smiles & kindness. It was fun to grill our own food. Everything we ate tasted amazing. We tried the Good Day lychee soju & it was very good. The robot was a unique & fun experience. It delivered our food. Thanks to sweet Jeremy for being attentive & for his kindness & wonderful smile. Everyone was pleasant & really made it a fun experience for us. We will definitely be back. Things we tried: volcano roll, scallops, crab stick, Kimchi, beef, beef rib, pork, sweet bun, ice cream, Dragon Eye, dumplings, shrimp tempura, sushi pizza
J'ai adoré ! C'est la 3eme fois que j'y vais , j'ai amené ma fille de 6 ans & mon amoureux, ma fille à trippé sur les robots chats !! Le service est super & rapide restaurant très achalandé ! J'ai reussi à avoir une table sans réservation 😊

Belle expérience en général. Beaucoup de bruit malheureusement parce que les assiettes sont tomber des robots à 3 reprises. On a pas aviser que la cuisine allait fermer donc on voulait recommander & on n'a pas pu. On a fini sur un goût amer de la soirée avec une grosse facture. On avait de la difficulté à avoir des enseignements c'était notre première fois. La nourriture c'était bon les robots c'est le fun mais pour le reste c'était moyen.
J'adore le fait de commander plusieurs petites portions en plusieurs fois. Un robot fait le service aux tables. Le restaurant est bien situé en plein coeur du quartier chinois. C'est très propre.
This is my go to & all time favourite all you can eat in Montreal! The food is great quality & the flavours are amazing. There's a big variety of protein options available -anything from poultry, read meat, & seafood. The variety of sushi available here is crazy! There's so many type of sushi to select. My favourites were the dragon eyes & Philadelphia rolls. There's also a robot that brings the some of the little snacks & drinks. Customer service is always good. As for the price it is a little pricey but totally worth the money & experience. Highly recommend everyone to try it out at least once.
I visited for the first time on a Friday around 5:00 pm, & I was genuinely impressed. The hostess who seated us was incredibly friendly & even spoke French, which was a nice touch. Our server, Jacky, was an absolute gem-super attentive & kind. One thing that really stood out was their use of technology, like the chat robots. It added a fun, modern twist to the experience. Now, let's talk about the food-the beef was perfectly marinated & bursting with flavor. I've been to Seoul Chako before, & honestly, Kalbi outshined it by far. However, I found the shrimp to be a bit bland, which was a little disappointing. Overall, the combination of great service, delicious food, & innovative tech made for an awesome experience. I'll definitely be back with my family & friends!

Resto correct dans l'ensemble. Cependant, les serveurs ont le droit de sourire. La nourriture était correct dans l'ensemble , mais j'ai étais très déçu par la viande pas très bonne , on se demande où vont nos 40dollards chacun. Le minimum de pourboire est exagéré. Pour finir les toilettes sont catastrophique. Les robots sont plus utile que le personnel !
I suggest to reserve a table if you're going, queue can get pretty long. I'd say this kind of places are more for the fun & experience of grilling your own food at the table than it is for the food itself. Sushi & others ready to eat food is also available, tasty & fresh. Of course the point is grilling so sushi is a plus, nice gimmick is they also have robots bringing food to your table. We were 6 & the table was a bit crowded with little space where to put the trays. Staff were great & quick at serving. Overall good experience & nice to try, a bit on the expensive side though, after taxes & tip we were at 60 per person.
The restaurant itself is cute with the twinkle lights etc. It has a robot that delivers the food to the tables which is quirky & fun. Otherwise I found it just ok.
First & best korean bbq so far! My family & I loved eating there, especially since there was plenty of new food to try out. The service & ordering system was quick & efficient, our server was very nice & chatty, which made the experience even better. Their robot servers were also very fun to watch around, & the employees in general were very friendly. The food is AMAZING, truly one of the best place to celebrate, since the price for the quantity of food is quite balanced. There's also a fitting option for children in the menu such as; chicken wings, fries, ect. Overall, the experience of eating there is a 5/5 for me, I would recommend it 100%!
First time there & it was really nice ! Our server explained really well the service he told us the price the included 15% tips since we where 6 people & the time limit he was wearing a maid apron probably because it was rhe otakuthon order arrived fast on the kitty cat robot (if you pet it on the head it can do different faces very funny try it) the food was really good too & two of the table ordered soju bomb the server yelled a chant for this specific drink again it was really funny ! We didnt hit the time limit because evrybody where full after an hour & a halffor the "bad" point i took a pina colada it was 12.99$ & i was a lil bit deceived because it was a regular glass & it was hot not cold & when it was time to pay i didnt really understood my bill ...so the 15% was included but there wasnt anything on the bill to say so & when he passed me the card machine it was given the tips option starting at 18% i was confused since i tought the tips was already included... the server was so nice & deserved is tips so i just told myself fudge it & gave 18% more for a total of 75$ only for myself ... i really do hope our server got his well deserved tips only for himself!
