Très très bon restaurant!! Délicieux!! La seule chose que je reproche c'est qu'à l'arrivée on mous demande « eau platte ou gazéifiée » alors on a pris gazéifiée! 7$ facturé!!!! (Pour une eau très peu pétillante..! Je m'attendais à un supp de 2-3$..! Vin au verre très cher (16$ le moins cher pour environ 6oz) sinon la nourriture parfaite, excellent service & décor merveilleux! J'aurai juste à prendre de l'eau platte la prochaine fois!!! À revisiter!
I reached out to the restaurant but did not receive the courtesy of a reply so I must reluctantly post my comments here. I want every Montreal restaurant to thrive post-pandemic & come back stronger than ever. However, our Saturday evening at Jatoba was a big disappointment. Don't get me wrong, The food remains excellent & is second only to Park with regards to high-end Japanese in Montreal. It's the ambiance that has changed. This restaurant used to be filled with the most chic people in the city. Those days are but a dim memory. This was my first Saturday night out with my wife since the pandemic & when you drop $300 for dinner, nothing really prepares you to be surrounded by a giant bachelorette party full of girls waving around giant dildos. No thanks. Not for me. Guys planning bachelor parties, don't waste your money on Crescent St, Jatoba is where you want to be! I am jus so disappointed as this used to be one of our favourite restaurants in the city.
