We thoroughly enjoyed our work/birthday lunch at Jatoba. The food was incredible & staff welcoming & knowledgable. I would recommend Jatoba in a hearbeat & will most certainly return. The $55 lunch menu was perfect (& we added some dessert as well :-) )
Menu du midi (55$) je recommande la soupe en entrée & j'ai pris la bento box qui change chaque jour & qui était un régal, on ressort rassasié. La salle est bruyante le midi, le service est rapide.

First time at Jatoba & will definitely go back when I visit Montreal again. The Google reviews did not steer me wrong! The food was delicious, atmosphere was upscale yet friendly, & it was busy but not too loud. I would definitely recommend- the chicken dish was outstanding!
This restaurant is pure class. Service & food were fantastic. Special thanks to the host, who immediately picked up on the reservation being a surprise for my wife, & played along. His effort preserved the impact of the surprise when additional guests showed up to what my wife thought was just a normal date.
Our waiter was exceptional as well. He crafted a wonderful 3 course meal for a fair price. Every plate was was delicious & we all left feeling full & satisfied.
I've came here once in 2017 & I will always recommend Jatoba for an elegant & unique experience.
Amazing food, ambience & vibe. The staff were extremely polite & friendly as well. Highly recommend trying to crispy rice cake sushi! It was out of this world. :)

Notre serveur Marc a été aux petits soins avec nous du début à la fin.
& que dire des sushis Bluefin… ils étaient tout simplement à tomber par terre!

Incroyable expérience au Jatoba! Comme d'habitude, nous avons adoré tout ce que nous avons commandé mais c'était notre première fois au bar & sincèrement, c'est devenu ce que je préfère! Le service que nous avons reçu par Thomas était génial! Dégustations de drinks, présentation d'aliments mystères, c'était divertissant & interessant & ca a rendu notre expérience encore plus wow. Nous avons découvert le drink le plus délicieux à base de cognac & liqueur de mandarine & pêche! Deplus, Nathan notre serveur a su nous recommander exactement ce que je voulais, un plat rafraîchissant & savoureux. Service hors pair, je leur lève mon chapeau. Quelle belle soirée! MERCI!! Worth every penny!

We celebrated my girlfriend's 40th birthday last night & had an unforgettable supper at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us with a warm smile & made us feel genuinely welcome, setting a relaxed & celebratory tone for the evening.
Our waiter was attentive, courteous, & friendly throughout the meal, always checking in at just the right moments & acknowledging that it was a special occasion for us.What truly elevated the experience was when Chef Olivier personally came to our table to say hello & present a few of the dishes himself. This thoughtful gesture made us feel incredibly honored, & my girlfriend felt extra special, as if the whole team was celebrating with us.
The combination of warm hospitality, professional service, & that personal touch from the chef turned a simple night out into a beautiful memory that we will cherish for a long time.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking to celebrate an important milestone or simply enjoy a memorable evening.

Gros coup de coeur pour le Jatoba! Les cocktails & la nourriture étaient délicieux. Tout était frais & très bien présenté. Le service était excellent, la serveuse nous a donné de très bonnes recommandations. Ambiance agréable & personnel vraiment gentil.
Always an awesome experience here. The food was top notch. the service was attentive & the ambiance is lively & beautiful. Recommend it for various celebrations, whether birthday, christmas dinner or work party. we did our office christmas party here.
Magnifique préparation de tous les types de viande ou fruits de mer, savoureuse délicate & raffinée. Il faut déguster chaque bouchée offre un arôme particulier. Le service n'est pas particulièrement sympathique, plutôt réservé mais attentionné. Ambiance joyeuse table roi de idéale pour partager les plats avec le plateau tournant. Je recommande. Surprise: belle verrière à l'arrière.
Honestly, not one negative aspect about Jatoba! The food was astonishing - the flavours englobe your mouth. The service is impeccable in this establishment. Catering to your needs & always making sure everything is to your liking. Thomas, the bartender, is an absolute gem. I had a cocktail that I want to realize & he make it to perfection. Would without a doubt, recommend this place for a night out with a friend or even a date!

Amazing service & food! A group of us decided to try this place out & we're very pleased with the whole experience. The service was superb & the food very enjoyable. Definitely recommend the mushrooms & wagyu dumplings.

Delicious food & really good service. Since it's on the pricier side, I'd recommend to go in a group & & spend 100-150$ pp to get to try as many different plates as possible. Some of the high lites were the black cod, the dumplings (all delicious) & the beer noodles
