Amazing food, ambience & vibe. The staff were extremely polite & friendly as well. Highly recommend trying to crispy rice cake sushi! It was out of this world. :)

La morue, recommandée par l'hôtesse Gabrielle, était absolument délicieuse, cuite à la perfection!
Notre serveur Marc a été aux petits soins avec nous du début à la fin.
& que dire des sushis Bluefin… ils étaient tout simplement à tomber par terre!

Cadre très sympa mais service de midi déplorable. Très obtus d'esprit aucun modification possible & surtout pas de sushi à la carte à midi alors qu'il y en a au menu du jour….. aucune discussion possible ce qui est désastreux pour un restaurant de ce standing dans le quartie
Superbe moment. Les sushis sont délicieux, bien que tout de même chers, la qualité est au rendez-vous. Nos préférés saumon sur riz croustillant & nigiri de saumon. Celui de homard est cher pour la portion & le tataki de boeuf nous a déçu. Le gâteau au caramel avec guimauve est simplement décadent! Excellent choix de vins, service attentionné & excellent. Une belle soirée !
Came back in 2025. Super average. Not as good as it used to be. They need to work on sushi… too hot or too cold. To spicy. Super average.

Been a long time since we have been back, but will not be long next time. Service food & ambiance was top notch. Really enjoyed the seat at the bar in the garden we had. The sushi was some of the best we have ever had.
Belle endroit pour manger entre amis & boire un bon verre! L'ambiance est amusante & le décor est incroyable! Niveau nourriture tout était délicieux, excellent dumping, sushi, filet mignon! Nous avons adoré notre expérience! On recommande!.
I had the pleasure of enjoying some incredible Asian inspired food. Every bite was a celebration of flavor-perfectly balanced sushi, rich & savory dumpling, & the freshest bluefin I've had in ages. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the food's quality. The staff seemed disorganized, also a bit arrogant. The mushroom dumpling was fried & boiling inside. (the type of dumpling you eat in one bite) & me & my friend all got burned inside our mouth wich made the rest of our meal a little less tasty. Our server answer was basicly to blow on our food & wait but at no time mentionned this dish was very hot. I guess the attitude kinda ruin it for me & a little warning is usually common & apreciated. It's a shame because the culinary experience was top-notch, but the poor service put a damper on the evening. If they can improve the service, this place would easily become a favorite.
It's important to note that although this restaurant is very good, it is very expensive & clients should know this beforehand. Cost over 300$ for two people, & this is with only one alcohol beverage. However, we did leave very full. The atmosphere is amazing, the decor is phenomenal & it feels very cozy. Great date place. The service was very good, hostess at front was kind & happy. Our waiter(male with moustache), did not make any mistakes, & came to see us the perfect amount of times, however the person I brought here felt like he was never smiling & looked annoyed to serve us, which can make people feel uncomfortable. We understand that working in the service industry is not always easy & fun, but in restaurants where there is a tip at the end & you have an extremely high bill, it doesn't leave a customer feeling like they want to tip. So the person I brought here felt sour to leave so much money to the waiter after feeling like we were a burden to him. The menu is very big, which is shocking for a place with a lot of quality because that is hard to achieve. It allows people with different food tastes to come; they hold seafood, meats, dumplings, salads, sushi, rice options, & more. It was wonderful to have such options. I do recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn't have a budget & wants to experience a fun cozy & quality evening.
The staff were great, & so knowledgable about the food & answered our questions about how many pieces of sushi each dish came with. The miso soup was incredible! Everything was above average! Thank you! 🙏🏾
Food was good. Went there for a birthday. Only thing is We both ended up with food poisoning overnight. It may have been the olive oil in the seabass or cod, but overall I'd return. The sushi plates were amazing, & fresh. I just wouldn't order anything too oily.

Incroyable expérience au Jatoba. La nourriture était succulente, les cocktails délicieux, le service excellent & la place superbe. J'ai personnellement adoré les sushis, la salade jatoba, les egg rolls & le poulet aigre-doux. Tout est savoureux & parfaitement cuit (comme il se faut). Moi qui ne mange habituellement pas de champignons je les ai trouvés bons. ♿️ Côté accessibilité cependant je ne suis pas sûre que ce soit si facile en chaise roulante, les toilettes sont au sous-sol (je n'ai pas posé la question pour s'il y en avait au rdc).
Excellent food, excellent service. You can't go wrong. Consistent every single time I've been. The ginger lobster is out of this world & the sushi is incredible.
Excellent repas, service & ambiance. On y était pour une soirée d'anniversaire & la soirée était parfaite. Absolument tous les plats étaient délicieux (dumpling, sushi, agneau, canard, morue, bar rayé, boeuf wagyu, etc.). J'aimerais aussi mentionner les cocktails signatures qui était très bien.
Food tastes good. The tuna & salmon tartare were expensive for the size. Papaya salad is good but lacks some flavor. One dish that was great is the Hamachi sushi & the desserts (caramel & citrus desserts). Service & ambiance are amazing. I would rate it higher if the prices weren't that high for the taste.
Sat at the bar, bartender was very knowledgeable & attentive. Made some very good wine suggestions. The sushi was fresh & very good. Wasn't too busy for a Thursday so we could hear ourselves talk. Good location just off Ste-Catherine.
