The vibes the environment & the food was amazing! Dugan & Pearce where so nice & friendly! I asked them if we could practice my French & they so patient!
The experience was not great. The food was just okay, nothing special, & they didn't even have the parmesan pasta we specifically went for. We arrived about 30 minutes late because parking in the area is quite complicated, & the hostess told us to come back over an hour later. What made it worse was that she didn't even allow us to wait at the bar & have a drink, her attitude was very strict & not friendly at all when explaining this.
On top of that, it's quite expensive for what they offer. It was my birthday, & I ended up feeling very disappointed. I don't plan on coming back.

An absolute unreal experience. The pasta's fresh & the atmosphere was classy & high end. It can be loud if its busy, but you can still talk with other members of your party. Having the pasta dish prepared table side is a must. The service was friendly & we were well taken care of by our server.
We had a great experience at this place. The staff were friendly & helpful. We started with the Jacopo Cesare salad which had the right amount of dressing & very tasty. For main courses we had Rigatoni con Pesto & Linguini Pescatore which were both fabulous. Thanks to the team for a wonderful meal.

Amazing food, amazing service, & great atmosphere. What a gem of a place. We had seafood Rissoto, Seafood pasta, & stuffed pasta Margherita Al tartufo, & loved it all. We're picky since we make our own pasta, sauces & Rissoto at home but this place was a special treat. Wine selection was delicious. Highly recommended.
The food was delicious! The calamari fritti was perfectly crispy & my linguine pescatore was perfect al dente with refreshing creamy lemon flavor. My husband got the pollo cacciatore; even though the chicken was a bit dry, the pasta in the dish was full of flavor like home made. Wanted to try the cheese wheel pasta but i'm a sucker for seafood linguine! Would go try it the next time for sure!
4 stars only because the noise level can get high when it's busy. Was having a hard time even talking to the server, who was doing a great job by the way!

Service 10/10. Super aimables & serviables. Par contre la nourriture n'était pas à la hauteur. Les entrées étaient super bonnes, mais les plats principaux sont arrivés tièdes & froid en moins de 5 minutes. Pas à la hauteur en gastronomie. & ne prenez pas le risotto.
Came there during the Happening Gourmand. The service was attentive & prompted. The food was good. There was nothing wrong which I can think about. This was a nice opportunity to test out a restaurant beyond my regular standard with a reasonable price (2 courses fix menu & a dessert added for just $5).
Had a great night at Jacapo. Food was top tier, service was very good & ambience was perfect. Also in the perfect location in the old port. All around, great dinner location if you are visiting Montreal.
