An inviting Italian spot in Old Montreal where the vibe is warm and refined and the menu centers on fresh pasta and seafood, with the cheese wheel pasta prepared at the table standing out; service is consistently attentive and friendly, guiding guests through dishes and accommodating dietary needs and celebrations; the atmosphere on both the main floor and the terrace is lively yet comfortable, making it ideal for dates, groups, or special occasions, and the wine list and desserts beautifully complement the meals.
The food was delicious & the atmosphere was lovely! Pearce was a great waiter & very helpful in deciding what we should get on the menu. Highly recommend Jacopo as a dinner spot for any occasion!
Amazing food, amazing service, & great atmosphere. What a gem of a place. We had seafood Rissoto, Seafood pasta, & stuffed pasta Margherita Al tartufo, & loved it all. We're picky since we make our own pasta, sauces & Rissoto at home but this place was a special treat. Wine selection was delicious. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience thanks to Aurelia from Jacopo! She was our waitress & went above & beyond all night. From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, & made us feel genuinely taken care of. She knew the menu really well, gave great recommendations, & checked in at the perfect times without ever being intrusive.
Her positive attitude & professionalism really elevated our whole evening. It's rare to find service that feels both personal & efficient at the same time. Aurelia truly made our night memorable - we'll definitely be back & hope to have her again!

The ambiance of the place was very nice. We received very good & attentive service, plus everything was delicious.
We ordered the lavender & peach mocktails which were excellent.
The bruschetta started was also very good.
& the two mains: mushroom gnochhis, & braised lamb tomato sauce pasta were both excellent.
Laura took amazing care of us & made our experience a 10/10. Amazing service, amazing food, highly recommend. Thank you Laura for making my birthday so special!

Maeva was the best waitress to experience at this wonderful Italian food establishment. Very knowledgeable of the menu & willing Nguyen's to share her recommendations which were spot on. Highly recommend this place. Enjoy
Stopped in for lunch on New Years Day. We were sat in front of the fireplace which was a dream. Had a fantastic bowl of French onion soup & steak. Lorenzo came by our table a few times & welcomed us in, great guy! Highly recommend
We did the boozy brunch & thought it was great value. Seafood linguine is highly recommended - great tasting & not too heavy. Service & vibes were also excellent. We will be asking for Pierce next time we are back. Great conversations, service & recommendations for other local things to do.
We had a great experience at Jacopo in Old Montreal! We had a reservation for later in the evening but tried walking in a bit earlier around 7:30pm on a Sunday - they weren't accepting walk-ins at that time, so we were lucky to have booked ahead. Definitely recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends, just in case.
The ambience was wonderful - the heated patio is beautifully lit, the main floor has a cozy, darker vibe, & the upper level feels more open & spacious. It's a surprisingly large restaurant, & despite the buzz, the music wasn't too loud, which made it easy to chat & enjoy conversation.
Our server was super friendly & spoke English, which made everything smooth. The mushroom gnocchi was delicious - perfect texture, great flavour, & just the right amount of sauce. They also have a nice selection of wines, & our food came out in about 15-20 minutes.
We noticed a few birthday celebrations happening, & it's clear Jacopo is great for groups or special occasions, with large tables available.
Overall, the food was excellent, prices were fair (around $15-20 for appetizers & $25-35 for mains), & the setting makes it a perfect spot for a date night, dinner with friends, or a family outing. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time at Jacopo in Montreal! Our servers, Dugan & Julien, were amazing & so friendly. I had the linguine pescatore & it was divine. I ate every bite. & then had the tiramisu, which was equally delicious. Great time & I highly recommend it!
The food was excellent, the service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere felt genuinely inviting without being over the top. You can tell they care about quality, both in what they serve & how they treat their guests.
I've eaten a lot of Italian food in my life, but I have to say: the Margherita al Tartufo here was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The balance of flavors, the freshness of the ingredients, & that incredible truffle aroma-just unforgettable.
Do yourself a favor & order it. Seriously, it's a standout dish that alone is worth the visit.
I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

Overall very cool place! Nice Italian food & a great location near the river & close to the ferris wheel. Highly recommend the cheese board. Giving 4 stars cause the service was a bit slow. For example they brought our wine to us after they brought the food, we had to ask for water multiple times, etc.
I would highly recommend Jacopo's Boozy Brunch! Our server Lamica was aboslutely wonderful & very attentive, our glasses were never empty! The food was delicious & the mimosa's were such a good value. Merci Lamica!
My husband & I were on a little weekend getaway & this was our first time going to Jacopo, the food was amazing & we had the nicest & most wonderful server. Her name was Aurelia, my husband was uncertain about what to have for dinner & he summed up what he liked, her recommendation was perfect & of course her recommendation for dessert was a perfect end to our evening.

Great place in Old Quebec (Place Jacques-Cartier). I ordered the chicken, it was not a good choice (This is just my opinion), but the tomato salad, fried calamari, the beef carpaccio, & everything else we ordered was great. Otherwise the our service was one of the best we ever had. Highly recommend this place.
