Visiting from new york & we had the loviest experience here with Emilio! He explained the menu very well & kept our table up to par every few minutes, he even made sure my sister who has a shellfish allergy was okay with Calamari at the table. We thought we would struggle as we know zero french but he did amazing !! The ambiance of this restaurant is unmatched. We all had the cheese wheel which turned out delicious. With the size of my group & us only speaking english Emilio did a great job of keeping us informed !! Will definitely return when I'm back :)
We stumbled upon Jacopo one evening & were intrigued by their cheese wheel pasta. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked that night, but we were so eager to try it that we made a reservation for the next day. Sadly, because it was the weekend, the cheese wheel pasta wasn't available. However, our server recommended a similar ravioli dish, & it turned out to be delicious! The atmosphere was fantastic, & the food was excellent overall. Definitely a place worth visiting!

C'était soir d'Halloween & la première soirée de Montréal à table : nous n'avions aucune réservation & nous avons été très bien accueillis. La table d'hôte proposée à 50 $/personne dans le cadre de Montréal à table est vraiment bien. Les entrées sont fort généreuses & la bruschetta al pomodoro est vraiment exceptionnelle (génial que la touche d'huile balsamique). Les repas étaient fort savoureux & que dire du service attentionné de Maeva & de ses collègues. La carte des vins est fort bien garnie avec des vins biologiques &/ou d'importation privée. Le tiramisu est vraiment onctueux. Pour nous, ce resto fut une magnifique découverte (nous étions dans le Vieux-Montréal dans le cadre d'un événement au Musée Pointe-à-Callière) & ce souper fut fort mémorable pour nous. Nous retournerons pour y déguster ce qu'ils appellent leur « cheese wheel » (disponible du dimanche au jeudi). Un grand merci à Maeva & aux autres membres de l'équipe qui ont rendu notre soirée des plus agréables.
Aurelia, one of the nicest people you will ever meet! This girl goes above & beyond. So friendly & easy going. Talking with her is like talking with a friend. This restaurant are very lucky to have this amazing girl! I ordered the cheese wheel pasta which the amazing Theo prepared in front of me, an amazing guy who was so friendly & charming! He made the experience very fun! I highly recommend this restaurant!
With so many options to pick for dinner in Old Montreal, I am so happy we went with Jacopo! My partner & I had an amazing experience. Our server, Laura, was absolutely lovely & made us feel so welcome. She was attentive & made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. We started with the Caesar salad, which was easily the best I've ever had, & followed it up with the pasta from the cheese wheel, which was simply divine. The flavors were incredible, & I only wish I could eat this meal every day! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with fantastic food & service.

First time to visit the place & we came back right away. We had a dinner reservation for Saturday & our server Aurella (not sure if I spelled her name right) was very friendly & accommodating. We had steak on our first visit & the bruschetta to share. Both were good. We have to come back on Monday night for the cheese wheel pasta since this is the main reason why we have to try Jacopo. We tried to look for Aurella but the place was quite busy that time. In the middle of our dinner, Aurella found us & said hello as she remembered as. She was a sweetheart to keep in checking on us even if we were not on her section. The pasta was really good & I must that the mash is so so so good that we have to order an extra side. On the other hand, the place is pretty packed & small but overall it was still a great experience.
Was served by Tristan W & Jolyanne. Tristan suggested the cheese wheel, & wow! What an experience. I really enjoyed the energy of the restaurant & how comfortable I felt asking questions about the menu. Jolyanne was a pleasure to be served by, she was very knowledgeable about the menu & the Montreal area I really enjoyed this restaurant & will be recommending it to my family & friends ❤️
Went to go get the cheese wheel but was told it was going to be a 45min wait, so we ordered something else just for us having to wait over an hr for food. People who sat after us were getting fresh food before us. The food came cold & the pasta sauce was already dry, it stuck together...was not edible. Also asked for bread & was told there was none left & had to wait for fresh bread. we never got it while seeing other people getting a basket way after we asked, we had to ask again after a while just to get a basket.

Très bon mais pour le cheese weel, la portion était trop petite, pas assez pour un repas & pour le prix. Pourtant les autres plats de pâtes étaient de la bonne portion.

Came while visiting Montreal. The location is in the heart of old Montreal. We had the cheese wheel pasta which was a unique & delicious experience! Wish we could have reserved a spot on the patio is my only draw back.
We loved our meal at Jacobo! Everything was delicious. The chicken & the cheese wheel pasta were standouts! The carbonara was a bit disappointing. Lovely interiors plus outdoor seating.

Came here for thé gourmand special & it was good! The cheese pastry was cold & not the best but the brunch is pretty big & delicious. I was told there were small portions but they were pretty big!
Jolyanne & Jean-Philippe ont rendu notre expériences exceptionnelles. Excellent drink, vin & la nourriture était à couper le souffle.. le cheese wheel est à essayer!!

I had the carbonara which was not good at all, I understand the cheese used is a salty cheese but it was not a tasty dish at all. The calamari- which was serving for one person was $25 (appetizer)
The cocktails were good but very small. I guess you pay old port price for poor quality & slow service.
