Came on a Friday night around 11pm it was super quiet (maybe it was freezing cold outside -35 degrees) no one wants to come out to dine
The waitress didn't come ask if the food was good or need to refill water (she came & saw it but didn't come back to refill it) just upset she didn't do well her job
There were maybe 10-15 people inside max at booth & bar
Big screens & tv etc
Lighting very ambient & low
Private feel & loud music like in the clubs
Overall just alright place for a quick bite
Otherwise just go somewhere else
Bad service & cold vibes here
J'ai récemment visité Jack Astor's Grill & Bar à Laval & je tiens vraiment à souligner l'excellent service que j'ai reçu de la part de Teslim. Dès le début, il s'est montré extrêmement accueillant, respectueux & attentif. Il a pris le temps de m'écouter, de comprendre ce que je recherchais comme expérience & comme plats, & m'a conseillé avec beaucoup de justesse.
On sent qu'il fait son travail avec coeur : il était toujours présent au bon moment, sans être envahissant, & il s'assurait constamment que tout se passait bien. Ses recommandations étaient excellentes & adaptées à mes intentions, ce qui a vraiment amélioré mon expérience au restaurant.

Its a good bar, averge food. the taste was okay. I thought a little pricey for the quality, maybe they were having a bad night. I would say the clientele is 30 an up
The atmosphere is not it - music was way, way, way, waaaaayyyyyy too loud. We had to scream to talk to each other & could still barely hear. Service was average considering the place was half empty. No glasses of water were provided until we were all almost done eating? & this is after 2+ hours of being there (like I said, service was average). Go somewhere else.
Been there 100s of times & will keep going. What makes this place one of the best is the staff , they're all great people. The plates of food are huge & the drinks are cheap compared to other places. Chris Gabriella & Tristan are amazing bartenders.

We've been there a couple of times. Pretty good music & ambiance. The drinks are always good. The service needs to upgrade a little bit more. The server never brought us water (even tho we asked her 2 times). We waited too long (15-20 min) just for 2 drinks & it wasn't even busy. My second drink looked like they took the same cup I used before without washing it! The food was cold when we we served after waiting for 35-40 min. The grilled cajun salmon was so small & thin I barely took 4 bites out of it & I still payed 30$! We asked to grill the steak RARE (50$) just to get it MEDIUM WELL done & cold fries. Wow. We told our waitress about it but we only got a 6$ out of our 200$ bill. The quality of food really lowered these past months unfortunately & the service too. Sometimes it's the small details that count even more. I recommend ordering the burgers & nachos.
I went to Jack Astor's to celebrate with coworkers. The ambiance is really a bar ambiance with all the tvs on sports channels & loud music. We were seated at a tall table since we were over 20 people. I'm a short person. When I sat down, the table reached to my chest. It's not the most comfortable way to eat, but besides that, daiquiri & the chicken tacos were good.
The food is good, like any typical American grill bar. For people that like sports & large TV monitors, you would probably enjoy the atmosphere. I personally prefer not to mix it with food.

J'ai récemment eu l'occasion de visiter le Jack Astor's de Laval & j'ai été agréablement surpris par le service exceptionnel que j'ai reçu de la part de Chris au bar. Son professionnalisme & son attitude chaleureuse ont vraiment rendu cette expérience mémorable. Dès mon arrivée, Chris m'a accueilli avec le sourire & s'est assuré que j'étais confortable. Il était très attentif à mes besoins & n'a pas tardé à prendre ma commande. Non seulement il était rapide, mais il a également pris le temps de me conseiller sur les différents plats & boissons disponibles. Ce qui m'a vraiment impressionné, c'est sa connaissance approfondie du menu. Il était en mesure de répondre à toutes mes questions sur les plats & de me recommander des options qui correspondaient parfaitement à mes préférences. Sa passion pour son travail était évidente & cela s'est reflété dans la qualité de son service. Pendant tout mon repas, Chris était régulièrement présent pour s'assurer que j'avais tout ce dont j'avais besoin. Il était très attentionné & anticipait mes besoins avant même que je ne les exprime. Son attention aux détails & sa volonté de faire de son mieux pour satisfaire les clients sont vraiment remarquables. En plus du service exceptionnel, la nourriture au Jack Astor's était délicieuse. Les plats étaient savoureux & bien présentés. En conclusion, je recommande vivement le Jack Astor's de Laval, en particulier si vous avez la chance d'être servi par Chris au bar. Son service exceptionnel, sa connaissance du menu & son attitude chaleureuse font de lui un atout précieux pour le restaurant. J'ai passé un moment vraiment agréable & je suis impatient de revenir bientôt ! Note : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The staff was super friendly but the food was not that great. It's a sports bar, you don't expect high end culinary food, but this was way lower than I expected. Other sport bars offer much better food.
Hier nous étions un groupe de 60 & plus de personnes. Pour un party de retraite. Je dois dire que tout fût au dessus de mes attentes dès notre arrivé jusqu'à la fin. Tous étaient ravi de la soirée. Nous avions une grande section côté bar wow super. De plus je dois mentionner l'excellent service de Chelsea & de son collègue dont j'oublie le nom. Bravo à votre équipe. Merci
Food was excellent The server was so rude & did not have any manner. My friend, visiting Montreal, barely speaks French was talking to her in English & the waitress (Maude) was replying in French!! After I paid my part of the bill & handed her back the machine, Maude threw the receipt on the table in a very diresprctful way & left, we were all shocked by her behaviour. We guessed that she didn't like the tip I left, but this doesn't give her the right (as per her job etiquette) to behave this way! This individual behavior affects the image of the place she works in & the service level in Montreal in general.
