Restaurant bien situé dans le Centropolis, à proximité du Carrefour Laval, faisant parti de la chaîne bien réputée Jack Astor's. Un menu varié, un lieu où j'ai regardé un match avec des amis. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'ambiance de match! Je ne sais toutefois pas si en d'autres circonstances ce serait un lieu pour avoir une discussion dans une atmosphère plus calme, en d'autres circonstances. Ça demeure un lieu de prédilection pour une bonne ambiance avec une clientèle nombreuse & manger un excellent repas!
Went to this location on two consecutive Saturday to watch the worldcup games with my family of 4. The first time the front desk staff was not very warm or cared that we asked to be seated at a table to watch the match. The waitress made up for the bad front desk experience. She was very pleasant & kept checking in with our table to see if everything was satisfactory. However the second Saturday was just all round horrible. Our server didn't introduce herself as was the norm of all the Jack Astor's I've been to including locations in Toronto. They always introduce themselves by writing their names upside down on the brown paper table cloth..'Shima' did not. When I asked her about this, she told me it was not an obligation & then wrote it after. On top of that she forgot my order & only brought 3 of the 4 orders. She didn't come & check if we were satisfied until my other family memebers were almost finished eating. Food overpriced for nothing special. Go find a better place to enjoy good service & good food.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Jack Astor's in Laval (Centropolis). I made a reservation for seven people to celebrate my daughter's birthday, expecting a pleasant family dinner, but the evening was filled with one issue after another.
To begin with, there was a fly in my drink. Our food service was slow, & some items were forgotten entirely. What made this especially frustrating was that the restaurant was not even busy at the time.
The biggest issue came when it was time for my daughter's birthday cake. After asking twice for cake service, our waitress returned visibly upset & informed us that the cake had been dropped. She apologized & told me I would not have to pay for anything, offering a large dessert instead. I declined the dessert & simply asked for the discounted bill so we could leave.
After waiting another 20 minutes, the staff unexpectedly came out with what appeared to be the same cake, now lopsided &'fixed.' I found this unacceptable & unsanitary. By that point, my daughter-the person whose birthday we were celebrating-had already left because she was so disappointed after being told her cake had been dropped.
To make matters worse, when I expressed that I should not be paying given everything that had happened, one of the servers responded by saying they would call the police. What should have been a special birthday celebration turned into a stressful & upsetting experience for my family.

Great experience at Jack Astor's! Our server was a true one-man army - super attentive, friendly, & always checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. The service really made our visit special. The pina colada was very good & refreshing. We also loved the garlic bread & nachos; they were absolutely delicious & full of flavor. Everything came out fresh & well prepared. I'll definitely be coming back & highly recommend this place!
We always enjoy eating at Jack Astors but this was a new location for us. Our server Zarah was amazing. She was kind & caring & her service was excellent
J'ai récemment visité Jack Astor's Grill & Bar à Laval & je tiens vraiment à souligner l'excellent service que j'ai reçu de la part de Teslim. Dès le début, il s'est montré extrêmement accueillant, respectueux & attentif. Il a pris le temps de m'écouter, de comprendre ce que je recherchais comme expérience & comme plats, & m'a conseillé avec beaucoup de justesse.
On sent qu'il fait son travail avec coeur : il était toujours présent au bon moment, sans être envahissant, & il s'assurait constamment que tout se passait bien. Ses recommandations étaient excellentes & adaptées à mes intentions, ce qui a vraiment amélioré mon expérience au restaurant.
Nous avons eu une expérience exceptionnelle chez Jack Astor's, en grande partie grâce à Teslim. Dès notre arrivée, il a été accueillant, souriant & très professionnel. Il a pris le temps de bien nous expliquer le menu, de répondre à toutes nos questions & de s'assurer que tout était parfait tout au long du repas. Son attention aux détails, sa gentillesse & son énergie positive ont vraiment fait la différence. On se sentait à l'aise & bien servis du début à la fin.
