About us
To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

We got the mushroom paneer & seekh kebab as appetizers, & for the main courses, we had garlic naan, malai kofta, & pepper paneer. All the dishes were very well made, & the presentation was exquisite. via LibroDowntown Montreal has been due for a great Indian restaurant for ages (since Curry House on Bishop closed ages ago) & you deliver. Very minor imperfections: drink order took far too long to place & receive & the samosas were very disappointing (pasty & just not very good). Everything else, from the tapas to the biryani to the cod to the aloo gobi & tarka dhal were outstanding. Carnivores & vegetarians & even those of us with dairy allergies were over the moon in your fabulous restaurant. The server was polite & competent & very pleasant. The ambiance was so chill & trendy & simply perfect. Will recommend & return.

The food was amazing!! The service on the other hand not as good. It was for a birthday & the birthday boy had to wait 20min for his plate (& two other guests too) while everyone else had receive what they ordered. It was cold when he finally got it. Our waitress (which was amazing) had to go into the kitchen to pick it up herself.
But I really recommend the food & the cocktails omg. They have a great selection of wine too.

Delicious food & trendy decor, this is one of my favorite restaurants. It's pricey but worth every penny. Service is very friendly staff & the ambient music is not too loud. Will definitely be back there soon.
