Chic but less spicy (or authentic) than other traditional Indian restaurants.
.... Adjusted to north american tastes I presume.
It's a great place for dining: ambiance, service, good location (hard to find parking lot though),
Washrooms are quite clean & you may ignore those signs of wear.View more
Amazing food. Always reluctant going to fusion / Indian restaurants, but this was perfect for Brunch. Everyone at the table left feeling full. Portion sizes, prices, & meals were all great.View more
I will rate this restaurant 4.5 out of 5, -0.5 because it's a bit too expensive for Indian food but the food here is good. The brunch is also really exquisite which is a modern twist to Indian food. I had the fried naan with chickpeas for brunch. For dinner, I got the garlic naan with butter chicken- the butter chicken is really creamy & delicious. Also got mango lassi which tastes good as well. I recommend this restaurant.View more
India Rosa is an absolute gem when it comes to Indian fusion cuisine! From the moment you walk in, the warm & vibrant atmosphere sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The decor is chic yet inviting-perfect for a date night or a casual dinner with friends.
The food is a perfect balance of traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, & cooked to perfection. On top of that, the complimentary food service was a lovely touch-a rare gesture that made us feel truly welcomed & appreciated.
Whether you're a fan of Indian food or just looking to try something new, India Rosa delivers a five-star experience from start to finish. Can't wait to go back!View more
Absolutely loved India Rosa!
The food was incredible-such a perfect mix of Indian flavors in a healthy way & French elegance, everything was so well put together. We have ordered veggie biryani which was so unique, yummy, panjir the indian crumble thats made with yogurt & healthy fruits & gooseberries with tasted like coconut payasam damnn it was the best dish we have ever had. The cocktails were absolute blast & super creative too, they have crafted exclusively i fan say. Beautiful vibe, great service. Can't wait to go back!View more
Great food & ambiance. The staff is so friendly. The food is a great balance of Indian fusion & the drinks are delicious .View more
Went for 8:30pm dinner with friends. Picture a nightclub that serves fabulous contemporary Indian dishes. Place was hopping. DJ'd music was dominant but not too loud. Great experience.View more
Love this restaurant, it's Indian food taken to another level. The mushroom cheese appetizer delicious 😋 the shrimp Biryani & potato with cauliflower all yummy. Great service 🤠😁View more
Great place to share dishes with friends (especially those that know their Indian food!)View more
Visited India Rosa for the first time, thanks to friends who recommended it, & it was a great experience. The ambiance was stylish yet cozy, blending Indian flavors with a modern twist.View more
First time trying Indian food! I was always hesitant to try it, but I absolutely loved it.View more
Very trendy & modern restaurant but food is mediocre! We ordered chicken butter, tikka & madras they lacked taste, they were made with thighs not even breast meat & quantity was tiny. We are used to authentic Indian food with lots of herbs & spices. We ordered many plates to share but they were all bad. The sheesh kebab entree & Naan were good tho. It's the second time I try this resto but it's my last! Service was very good.View more
I'm a huge fan of this place! It truly captures my culture & offers the closest fine dining Indian restaurant experience in Montreal. The food is always amazing-this time, we tried the Indo-Chinese dishes, & my girlfriend absolutely loved the concept. The drinks were also well-crafted, adding to the overall experience. While it's a premium-priced spot, the quality, authenticity, & ambiance make it completely worth it. No regrets-just great food & a fantastic time!View more
Amazing food & experience delivered by a sweet host at India Rosa. Lovely to visit there. Being an Indian myself, it's safe to say that you can expect top notch food there.View more
From the outside, the establishment is beautiful. As soon as you walk in the door, you're taken away by the smell of what the chefs are cooking. Inside it's a very sophisticated & romantic atmosphere with beautiful decor. Our waitress were very kind, & didn't hesitate explaining some of the items on the menu - very welcomed for us since it was our first time trying authentic Indian food. The food was absolutely delicious, matched the wonderful smells from when we walked in, & the portions were generous. 10/10 would recommend & 100% will be going back!View more
I loved it, food was delicious, not spicy (how I like it), very flavourful & great portions. It is a little overpriced but everything is overpriced nowadays. Restaurant was clean, big & spacious & the service was excellent. I would just add a little bit more ambiance with the music but I would recommend to anyone who likes or want to try indian food. I will definitely go back & try different things on the menu, everything looked delicious.View more
Food was delicious & service was excellent. Atmosphere is really engaging. Definitely recommended for some delicious Indian food.View more
The sandwich I had was pretty good. I had the paneer grilled cheese. This restaurant does not serve authentic Indian food. Rather, it feels like its a fusion restaurant putting a Western twist on Indian food. Perhaps their target customers are non Indians. Nonetheless, I likely wouldn't dine here again. While the fusion food wasn't a big issue for me, I took issue with their pricing. The paneer tikka grilled cheese was about $22.00. I feel like this is a sandwich I could make on my own for a significantly cheaper price. Service was fine otherwise. I'm not sure what the other meals are like.View more
I tried the chicken & waffles, & the presentation was stunning. The sauce had a hint of Indian spices, which made perfect sense for a fusion Indian brunch spot. The latte was excellent, & the server was friendly. The atmosphere was a nice & fancy yet reasonable price. It's a great spot to hang out with friends or for a dateView more
We came on a Monday (during holiday season) & we usually come for the brunch (which is only offered on weekends). Since it was during the holidays I thought they might be offering the brunch (wishful thinking). So this review is for their non brunch menu. Anyways, the dishes we ordered: chicken tikka tandoori- it was super tender & beautifully presented, the Lamb Kashmiri - super flavourful & the malai kofta was like an Indian style gnocchi- I found the sauce to be creamy but not so spicy/flavorful but this was more a dish for my daughter. The cheese naan was great too. Service was attentive, our water was filled without asking & she checked in on us every once in awhile. The decor at this location is so colourful & love the high ceilings. Overall just a great classy place. It is a bit on the high price for Indian food. But with great service & ambiance it's worth it. One thing I did notice was that their sauces weren't "heavy" or greasy as in some of the mom & pop Indian restaurants.View more
I have had a horrible experience at India Rosa. Poor service, unfriendly staff. They seem so greedy for profit & they do not really care about customers. I have been there about 4 times over the past few months. The food is really expensive, compared to other Indian restaurants, where the food is of superior quality, but the major issue is the rude staff & the rude management. There is so much inappropriate attitude at this place. For instance, if you come with children, they don't treat you well because they think that you won't spend as much money, most likely because children will not consume alcohol, I guess. Besides, the portions are so small & overpriced. If you want some good Indian food nearby, check out Chez Devi or the Taj (expensive, but totally worth it) - you will find delicious food, a more authentic Indian cuisine & really nice people & pleasant atmosphere!)
I had a unique experience with Indian cuisine in a nice ambiance. I tried the butter chicken for brunch, which was served with poached eggs- an absolutely astonishing combination that exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich & perfectly balanced. The staff were incredibly kind & helpful adding to the overall excellent experience. Although I didn't try any drinks, those served to other guests looked impressive & well-prepared. A must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy Indian cuisine with a creative twist!View more
Fantastic Indian brunch menu ! Lots of flavor, quantity, presentation & freshness. We got the sweet waffles with grilled pineapples & chicken & masala waffles. We wanted to order everything on the menu. Service was great, no long wait time, waitress took time to explain us the menu. Restaurant is clean & spacious & beautiful decoration. Would definitely go again! It was a perfect brunch dateView more
Great atmosphere & a new twist on Indian cuisineView more
I think it is the most stylish & trendy Indian restaurant in town. The ambience is chic & open. The golden accents & wallpapers of exotic trees & birds take you to another dimension. The food & drinks are delicious as well, but not on par with the ambience. I ordered the butter chicken & naan & it was delicious. Totally recommend it for a date night or a hang out with friends over some tasty drinksView more
The place is really nice. It was a great ambiance when we got there but then it got loud very fast & we had a hard time hear each other talking. Both the appetizers & cocktails were excellent & unique for an indian restaurant. However we were disappointed with our main course( butter chicken & korma lamb), it lacked flavour & spices for indian food, the butter chicken was not chicken breast & everything was lukewarm.View more
One of the best Indian restaurants around, not cheap but excellent food & service.View more
