About us
To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

Our server was so sweet & accommodating, food was excellent & the vibe was nice. Recommend the sheek lamb kebab tapas & the gulab jamun dessert in particular. Everything was delicious though.View more

I will rate this restaurant 4.5 out of 5, -0.5 because it's a bit too expensive for Indian food but the food here is good. The brunch is also really exquisite which is a modern twist to Indian food. I had the fried naan with chickpeas for brunch. For dinner, I got the garlic naan with butter chicken- the butter chicken is really creamy & delicious. Also got mango lassi which tastes good as well. I recommend this restaurant.View more

Everything about our night was superb 👌🏼 tapas, main food, dessert, service, & our lovely waitress for the night, Florence made it a whole lot better because she was very knowledgeable, kind, patient 🤩 I can't recommend the place enough to anyone!

Nourriture bonne. Indienne. Pas ma cuisine favorite mais c'est quand même bon ici. Pas de via de de volaille blanche par contre. Que du haut de cuisse...
Agneau ok. Sauces ok.
Prix trop élevés, pour de la nourriture indienne...

Les assiettes tardent à venir toutefois. À améliorer...

The three of us really enjoyed our dinner at India Rosa-Griffintown. The food was excellent! I recommend the Salmon Tikka. We had a great table by the window & an excellent server. It's a beautiful restaurant decore-wise, & even on usually slow Monday night it was a busy, happening place. Nevertheless, the noise-level was reasonable. From the outside, the establishment is beautiful. As soon as you walk in the door, you're taken away by the smell of what the chefs are cooking. Inside it's a very sophisticated & romantic atmosphere with beautiful decor. Our waitress were very kind, & didn't hesitate explaining some of the items on the menu - very welcomed for us since it was our first time trying authentic Indian food. The food was absolutely delicious, matched the wonderful smells from when we walked in, & the portions were generous. 10/10 would recommend & 100% will be going back!View more

I had an amazing brunch at this restaurant! I've been here for dinner in the evening before, but this was my first time trying their brunch, & it did not disappoint. Manager Denis was very attentive, & his staff was incredibly kind & welcoming. The service was excellent, & the food, wow! Everything was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. I loved it, food was delicious, not spicy (how I like it), very flavourful & great portions. It is a little overpriced but everything is overpriced nowadays. Restaurant was clean, big & spacious & the service was excellent. I would just add a little bit more ambiance with the music but I would recommend to anyone who likes or want to try indian food. Good was great - albeit toned down for western palate. Ask them if you want it spiced accordingly. Great range of authentic India dishes from various regions. Service was good - friendly staff - & the wait on food is not bad at all. I'd certainly recommend for group dinner parties.View more

I think it is the most stylish & trendy Indian restaurant in town. The ambience is chic & open. The golden accents & wallpapers of exotic trees & birds take you to another dimension. The food & drinks are delicious as well, but not on par with the ambience. I ordered the butter chicken & naan & it was delicious. I recently went for an anniversary dinner with my boyfriend, & we had a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional across the board-every dish we tried was delicious. We ordered a selection of tapas, the biryani rice, & butter chicken, all of which were spot-on. The only small critique I have is that the garlic naan could have used a touch more salt, but it didn't take away from how much we enjoyed the meal. When we mentioned to the waitress that we were celebrating our anniversary, she surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a great experience, & I highly recommend it!View more

It took 2h to get served.... we received our dish then it took another 15mn for the coffees... really bad experience .. the food was good but not exceptional considering the amount of wait time. I'm really disappointed... even when we wanted to pay it took 20mn to even notice us !!! I don't recommend this place at all if you want to be served properly !View more

It was my first time with my gf at Griffintown India Rosa. The staff was very nice & polite. The food & vibes both were awesome apart from few flies. Their Gobi 65 & panner pepper masala were definitely a chef's kiss. I find the portion of appetizers were very less according to the price. The mock tails were good too. In dessert we had Crème Brûlée À La Cardamome. It was yummy. All in all our food experience was really great. Would definitely recommend it & want to come back again:)View more

We visited the place fir lunch with group of friends. The food tasted really good although the portions were on the small side for the price. The ambiance is really nice & welcoming. The service was not very professional, I expected more from a place with this price range. I recommend the Indian beer but stay away from the chai. The butter chicken is really well prepared, which I cannot say for the most of the Indian places in the city.View more
