Reviews describe Iconoglace as a standout Montreal ice cream spot known for exceptionally creamy soft serve, a wide array of flavors, and inventive sundaes that draw crowds. The menu is praised for generous portions, a strong mix of classic and unique options, and many items that are vegan or gluten free, with freshly made waffle cones often highlighted. The atmosphere is described as stylish, colorful, and welcoming, with fast, friendly service and a buzzy line that moves quickly on busy days. While many travelers rave about the quality, several voices caution that price can be high and some batches can feel overly sweet or heavy, leading a few to feel the hype not fully matched by taste. Fans celebrate the ability to customize and the variety that keeps bringing them back, and some call it the best ice cream spot in Montreal, a must visit for dessert lovers. The experience is also noted for family friendly spaces and practical touches like accessible seating and convenient dining options, making Iconoglace feel like a premiere destination for indulgent treats in the city.
Trendy ice cream shop selling uniquely delicious soft serve options. Came at night & the store was packed. Got the 420 sundae which was packed with brownie, Oreo, & cookie dough in every bite. So filling that I could not even finish it between 2 people. The soft serve itself is quite milky, great amount of sweetness. Next time I would probably just get the soft serve itself. Menu is only in French, so could be intimidating for non French speakers/readers. Overall, worth the stop!
Delicious, great atmosphere & great service! Their weekly special sundaes are to die for! Their ice cream is top tier - my friends & I absolutely loved it. They have so many choices, fun & unique combinations, & beautiful set-ups. Highly recommend, probably the best ice cream in Montreal.
I got a sundae instead of an iceberg, which may have been my error, but i.m.o. this place is a bit overrated. The treat I got was so sickeningly sweet I could only eat 1/3 - it lacked balance. That said, it was some seriously smooth & creamy soft serve.
I tried the Mount Royal Sundae, & while the cookie was fantastic, the ice cream didn't quite hit the spot for my brother & I. We struggled to get through a few bites & ended up tossing it. I love the creativity, though, so I'm definitely planning to give their ice cream another chance, maybe it was a bad batch.
This is not an ordinary ice cream store. It is very creative in their offering & even has vegan options & sorbet. It is not easy to pick from the multiple options offered. They even have Coaticook soft ice cream. I decided to go with a soft sundae with kit kat & my friend went with the lemon press. I was a little disappointed on the presentation side. I've seen a lot more lavish designs of sundaes from other customer orders. But at the end of the day, the ice cream was delicious. But I don't think I will go back to the kit kat one. The lemon press was good as well. We went for the smallest size & it was more than enough. We also found that bathrooms are named after cat owners & dog owners. Not sure if you can really bring your pets though. All in all, this is a must try.
A very funky ice cream store which are serving sundaes!!!!! I tried there sundaes & it was very decadent & delicious!!! I highly recommended the Mont Royal sundae ☺️😀. They also have other stuff on the menu which is worth to try (soft serve, homemade ice cream (with some funky twist flavors) etc.) If you are on the Plateau, it's a place that you can't miss for ice cream.

Grand choix de crèmes molles, de crème dure, de sundaes, de slush & de combos incroyables renouvelles régulièrement. Un des meilleurs glaciers de Montréal !
Great place to experience delicious ice cream after a long walk through the lovely park outside. The staff was very kind & respectful. There are sundaes & affogatos if you don't want ice cream.
I think this place is overhyped. We paid over $20 for two sundaes that were underwhelming. I do give it 4 stars because the quality of the soft serve was better than I've had elsewhere. But the sundaes left something to be desired. The vibes of the place were fun though. Just be aware: you're definitely paying for the experience, not the ice cream.

A bit pricey but well worth it: extremely creative sundaes & soft ice cream, with a vast range of offerings & flavours. Fast service despite the instant flow of customers. The store design is modern & bright & I hope they'll stay open during the winter. Cards accepted & extended opening hours.
