I just got around to posting this review. I love ice cream & this place is the best. They have the absolute best soft serve ice cream. With great choices & creative swirls & sundaes. Always a treat at Iconic Glace!
When we got there, there was a long queue outside. Despite its length, the line moved swiftly, making the wait surprisingly short. The sundae was incredible, a perfect mix of flavors. The mini corns were rich, buttery, & really hit the spot.

WOW! The most delicious vanilla soft serve ice cream I've ever had. It's not too sweet, it's so creamy & wonderful. I got the Lady in Red Sundae & highly recommend it, but next time I think I'd just get a vanilla cone because the ice cream itself was the highlight. Check this place out!!!!
Their ice cream scoops are so bad! They just taste like sugar & the texture is not an ice cream texture. Sundaes are better but all you feel is just creammm!

The ice cream was pretty good (I had the Sundae Classic). The portion is huge for one person. I wish they offered reusable containers for eat-in options. Also, they overload with their toppings, as toppings kept falling onto the floor from a few people eating inside, we noticed. I like their rinsing, composting & recycling station inside. The service was great.

Suggestions: avoir l'option d'une portion plus petite. Ça serait plus sain & éviterait probablement du gaspillage. & si les prix vegan étaient les mêmes que pas vegan, ça serait la cerise sur le sundae! 🐮
Mise-à-jour 2e visite: ils se sont trompés & j'ai eu de de la crème glacée à base de lait de vache.. & portion petite du tourbillon est beaucoup trop grosse; j'ai dû composter (bravo pour ça au moins) plus de la moitié :-(
I had the raspberry brownie sundae, & it was amazing! The portion was generous, the ice cream was rich & flavorful, & the staff were super friendly. Hardly any wait time, even on a busy day. It's definitely worth a visit!

Iconoglace 🍦 Mount Royal Sundae Review
Tried the Mount Royal sundae & it was super fun & indulgent! A little too sweet for my taste, but still really tasty. Great spot if you're craving something over-the-top & fun!
Although the line was long, they were quick & efficient with taking orders & giving out ice cream. Interior was nice, cool, & has ample seating both in & outdoors. Nice that they offer free tap water off to the side. Very rich on the sundaes, so I suggest whatever size you want, get a step down of that size
It's just… a lot. The sundae was good but I also felt like I'd probably drop dead after. It had sooo much very sweet fudge, 1/2 a (very good) cookie, brownie, cookie dough, some chocolate thing, & peanut butter. Definitely share if you can.
I just think the ice cream to toppings ratio needs to be more ice cream. That said, I could have ordered regular ice cream.
I've been told that the blizzard-equivalents are very good. The line is long on a weekend but moves fast.
The menu is kinda overwhelming. There's a lot to follow. Lots of options.
La gourmandise décrit parfaitement cet endroit. Les sundaes sont copieux & même parfois difficiles à terminer. Faire 1 pour 2 est largement suffisant si vous venez ici pour le dessert 😉

Meilleures crèmes glacées de Montréal / Best Montreal Ice Cream! I've been probably 2 dozen times over the summer since their opening in the spring of 2024, after visiting the Belanger shop! Their immense menu forces you to come back! I've had the daily specials that are always so tasty, also had their slush, their floats, the sundaes & the ice cream sandwiches! Whether it's for a small treat you can get the mini or you want to really treat yourself you can go for the larger sizes, there are options for everyone. Don't be spooked by the line up that often stretches out of the store & around the corner, it's much quicker than it looks & well worth the wait!
I can finally get my fix for a nostalgic American-style hot fudge sundae here, with thick hot fudge & whipped cream. It's exactly what I crave. Portions very generous, I love the personality & the flavours & high end presentation. Love the sink available & sprayer thingy to rinse cups before recycling. Wish it were open year-round. One of my favourite guilty pleasures in summer.
