Reviews describe Iconoglace as a standout Montreal ice cream spot known for exceptionally creamy soft serve, a wide array of flavors, and inventive sundaes that draw crowds. The menu is praised for generous portions, a strong mix of classic and unique options, and many items that are vegan or gluten free, with freshly made waffle cones often highlighted. The atmosphere is described as stylish, colorful, and welcoming, with fast, friendly service and a buzzy line that moves quickly on busy days. While many travelers rave about the quality, several voices caution that price can be high and some batches can feel overly sweet or heavy, leading a few to feel the hype not fully matched by taste. Fans celebrate the ability to customize and the variety that keeps bringing them back, and some call it the best ice cream spot in Montreal, a must visit for dessert lovers. The experience is also noted for family friendly spaces and practical touches like accessible seating and convenient dining options, making Iconoglace feel like a premiere destination for indulgent treats in the city.
WOW! The most delicious vanilla soft serve ice cream I've ever had. It's not too sweet, it's so creamy & wonderful. I got the Lady in Red Sundae & highly recommend it, but next time I think I'd just get a vanilla cone because the ice cream itself was the highlight. Check this place out!!!!
When vanilla meets blackberry mojito in a perfect swirl, it's not just ice cream, it's a little party on a cone. Sweet, tangy, creamy, & oh-so-refreshing, each bite feels like summer wrapped in art. Proof that happiness really does come with sprinkles of flavor & a swirl of color. #Montreal

There are three things that drew me to this place:
1. The ice cream
2. The great reviews
3. Most importantly: how the owner responds to bad reviews
I think it's absolutely hilarious. Some of the responses had me laughing so hard that I definitely needed an ice cream just to cool myself down.
My favorite quotes:
• 'No soup for you!'
• 'I'm always happy when people confirm that ice cream melts when it's 27°C ~ Anything less would keep me awake at night.'
I was really hoping to meet the owner in person so I could look her straight in the eye & say,'No soup for you,' just to see her reaction. Sadly, she wasn't in the store when I visited.
We tried the strawberry lemon twist soft serve & the classic chocolate & vanilla! The ice cream was great & the strawberry/lemon was out of this world
The smell of fresh waffle cones from across the street leads the nose directly to a bright & popular destination for a wide selection of seasonal flavors in constant rotation.
All frozen dairy & vegan products are high in quality, creative, & highly indulgent. Their classic soft serve ice cream is made with Coaticook dairy & the vanilla flavor is just fantastic. It is simple & perhaps basic, yet very well made with its perfectly dense, smooth & creamy consistency. I would come back regularly for this alone.
The mango & passion-coco soft serve flavor of the week was bright, refreshing, & the cubes of candied mango added a nice texture.
The vibe of the establishment is colorful & dynamic. The gender-neutral bathrooms classified as cat vs dog people is a very fun approach to inclusivity. The wallpaper in the dog people bathroom is particularly funny.
All in all, I highly enjoyed my visit to Iconoglace & I believe they fully deserve the line that runs out the door.

After an sad experience at Dairy Queen where I ordered a brownie blizzard & basically just got vanilla ice cream with 2-3 tiny chunks of brownies, I felt bad for the kids nowadays who grow up to a sad, downsized ice cream experience.
Going to iconoglace made the child in me happy, ordering this gorgeous & flavourful cup of joy, & seeing just how much texture was packed into it.
It was filled with crunch, ice cream, chocolate sauce & all that good stuff. & it's not just on top, they literally fill the BOTTOM of the cup with more cookies & crunch, as if to reward you & reassure you that the experience is not yet over.
I sound like I'm exaggerating but I'm not. I genuinely enjoyed this ice cream & will be coming back for more flavours!! Cheers

Several people recommended me this place. As the menue is very confusing I asked the (very sweet) cashier for recommendations & she told me the mont royal is very popular.Vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, fudge & pretzels. Sounds rich but hey let's try.i pick the vegan version.
I'm still nauseous from that thing. Too sweet, too artificial, too everything. Looks cute. But 12$. Yeah….. no.
I liked the « spéculos » soft serve, the vanilla & chocolate very average. The thing I did not like about this place is the confusing menu, too many colors & sections, it's not easy to read nor catchy.
great ice cream place ! the combination of the raspberry & pistachio with the vanilla soft serve was really good but can get overwhelming by the end. I really liked the atmosphere & the seating outside ! would come again & try different flavours 😋

3rd: cornet gaufre avec 2 boules de la belle verte 4/5 & dure à dire 5/5 2nd: la saveur de la semaine-citron vert 4/5 1st: Had iced tea with vanilla ice cream, surprisingly it was pretty much a normal portion of ice cream which was around a half cup. Definitely will come back for the other flavours of ice cream!
