Loved this place. This is my absolute Japanese restaurant in Montreal. The food is always fantastic & no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal.
Can't wait to return & wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for something special.

Food was very good. Our waitress was wonderful as well she was very helpful with her suggestions & made the ordering process & menu explanations very simple & easy to follow along. Would recommend simply for the customer service. Also of course the food which was very delicious.

An excellent take on an Izakaya with a number of fusion dishes. The radish salad & marinated mackeral are to die for, not to mention the grilled squid. Being half Japanese & having lived in Japan for many years, I'd recommend this restaurant highly.

Ce n'est pas ma première fois au Ichigo & chaque fois je me délecte de leurs produits. Tout est bon, frais. Notre serveuse était particulièrement gentille & serviable. Les cocktails sont bons comme toujours. Je recommande vraiment !

Beaucoup de plaisir a manger dans ce tres beau restaurant.
Nous avions choisi de réserver pour le menu « tapas » & étions situé à l'étage.
Nous avons goûter 2 cocktails qui était vraiment excellents
Tres beau décor. Excellent service.
& un régal !
Dessert copieux & exquis.

For those who know IMADAKE, this is the new IMADAKE of the east side, except, better! I know right? Who would think that it could get better, but experience makes perfect, & this IMADAKE 2 will soon have a reputation of its own: Ichigo Ichie!
The location, ambiance, service, food & presentation are excellent! Every single detail is well thought of, & whatever you order you will not regret it.
I got to try smoking duck with green onions & wasabi dip, pork with spinach & egg with a mustard gravy (this one is a must!), rice cake rolled in bacon (tastes like cheese!great texture), tilapia ceviche & tuna sashimi seasoned & slightly grilled on the outside, & edamame spiced with garlic & red peepers to accompany all these plates!
Desserts! Do not forget about dessert, Ichigo Ichie has homemade saké ice-cream. It is extremely soft & creamy, very well balanced. Oh, & the green tea tiramisu, definitively my favorite & a must try! (& I am not a big green tea fan, for those hesitant about the green tea word being there).
Last but not least! In Ichigo Ichie also have their own beer & they have cocktail drinks, but ask the bartender to make you a special invention. These guys know what they are doing. I personally recommend you ask for Aki1 light to accompany fish & dessert! & Aki2 red to accompany meats.
