Nous étions un groupe de 6 personnes & nous avions été accueillis par une jeune dame tres aimable.Excellente cuisine japonaise,ce fut un délice de déguster les ramens d'excellentes qualités & a son choix,les cocktails aussi sont délicieux.Service rapide.

Stumbled upon this place on our Montreal trip & the Ramen was delicious!!! ♥? amazing staff. There was a bit of a wait but they let us hang out upstairs so we don't have to wait in the cold. Cocktails were yummy as well.

La réputation de cet izakaya n'est plus à faire, & il était grandement temps de l'essayer. Nous avons partagé 6 plats pour 2 personnes (quantité pas mal idéale), & seulement deux d'entre eux étaient des coups de coeur. Très bons cocktails. Tout était bon, sans toutefois surpasser les attentes, mais c'est peut-être là que ça devient difficile d'avoir une réputation si élevée justement. Tout de même, la qualité & les saveurs étaient présentes & ça demeure un bon endroit si on cherche une valeur sûre en termes d'izakaya.

Dined in a couple of nights ago (it was recommended by a friend) & enjoyed everything that we ordered! Very tasty, fresh & their Mr. Miyagi cocktail is also amazing (I had 3 of them)! Loved the ambiance & coziness of this place. Equally impressive is the very attentive & accommodating staff. I would definitely go back & highly recommend!

An elevated dining experience of small plates & cocktails done exceptionally well in a comfortable & casual setting. The food delivers more than anticipated, some dishes with a range of texture & flavor & others with a simplicity that complements the purity of the ingredients. The plates, albeit small, demand to be shared when in the presence of good company. The daikon salad was bright & umami. The karaage was crispy & the inside juicy. The grilled squid was perfectly cooked & smoky. The fuji miso pork shoulder was juicy & deeply rich, perhaps so much so as to needing a fresh & zingy element to balance the richness. My highlight of the meal was the age nasu eggplant, a dish so hidden in the menu that I almost missed it. The staff is very welcoming & accommodating. They are knowledgeable on the menu & will not hesitate to take a moment to address any questions or concerns. Overall, I had a great experience with Ichigo Ichie. The food may be expensive for some, but it is worth saving up for. Plan night out with a date or with some friends, & consider ordering a range of small plates to share so you may taste all that this restaurant has to offer.

On a été reçues assez tard vers 22h sans réservation, on nous a informé que la cuisine fermait bientôt donc on a choisi & été servis super rapidement, c'était délicieux ! Ci-joint la photo du bon via lequel on chosit son ramen, en entourant ce qu'on veut dans le bol, c'est ensuite directement envoyé à la cuisine, c'est ludique & pratique ! Le cocktail (15$) était aussi excellent, notre serveuse a été super, une bonne adresse à tester.

So delicious! I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday & eat some izakaya. We had an amazing time! We ordered the tuna tataki, & beef with fermented cabbage. We also got these delicious evil bao buns (one of their spring specials) & takoyaki. The cocktails are delicious too! Overall a fantastic experience I will definitely be back!

By far my absolute favourite Ramen in the city! Their broths are so flavourful & their ramen always hits the spot. I prefer going to Ichigo Ichie, cause it's more of an izakaya. Their cocktails are great, the atmosphere is warm & their have great food in addition to the ramen. Their takoyaki is a right side dish with the ramen & so is the yuzu tuna tataki, the tataki has the right amount of zest & a great bite it, since they don't slice it too thing . Also, I highly recommend the black cod, it just melts in your mouth. If you have a sweet tooth, their black sesame Tiramisu is out of this world. The only drawback is that they don't take reservations & there is always a wait, but definitely worth the wait!

I've been to this restaurant 3 times & it's been an exceptional experience every time. The food is fantastic & I must admit to mostly coming back for the shiso sours (my new favourite cocktail). What really stands out to me is the service, though. 2 of the 3 times I've been there, our server Kathy made the experience so much better! Between remembering my drink order from the first time I came, to recommending the best vegetarian options, to doting on our table in a timely, efficient manner, I'll keep coming back just to sit in her section!!

A lot to say about this place. Overall, great place to come back to. They separated the ramen & izakaya area, so the reservation only get you the izakaya menu & ramen is on a first come first serve base. As other comments noted, place is really crowded, you hit another table within your arm's reach. Seat is not comfortable at all. Service was just so so. Not very attentive. Had to stop a server to get more water. Waited more than 10min for the bill. Now I understand they are busy, & the limited space doesn't really allow for more servers on the floor. Maybe don't make it so crowded... Food is bipolar. Their regular menu is great. I had the gyu tartare, cod, & fried ramen from their regular menu & they are above standard. Fresh, flavourful, & decent portions. I got the fried pork from their seasonal (winter) menu & it was meh. Proportion of the meat is off, too much fat, salty. Vegetables aren't enough to offset the grease from pork fat. Not an enjoyable dish to have. Cocktail I got the peach one & like it.

Good gyu tartare & cod. Winter season pork dish isnt good - the portion of the meat is too much & over flavoured compared with the side ingredients. Cocktail is nice. Crowded seats, slow service

Facilement un de mes restos préférés à Montréal. C'est festif, la nourriture est de qualité & c'est abordable. Après avoir goûté presque tout le menu, je peux dire que les beignets de pieuvre, le tofu agedashi & la morue sont particulièrement délicieux. Le seul point faible du restaurant est le manque de choix de cocktails & de boissons sans alcool, mais ma requête de mocktail a été prise au sérieux & il n'était pas cher. En bref, j'adore le Ichigo & j'y retournerai encore & encore. A true favorite.

The place can get a bit cramped, & I strongly recommend booking in advance if you have a party of more than 2 towards the end of the week, but it has a great atmosphere for a guys or girls night out. I also recommend the spot for a casual date as there are some fun appetizers to share like the karage & the cocktails are decent as well. The ramen is decent & the prices are fairly reasonable.

Incroyable expérience! Avec mon copain nous avions réservé afin d'essayer le "Montréal à table" un samedi soir. Cependant, en arrivant, la serveuse nous a expliqué que le restaurant n'offrait pas le menu "Montréal à table" le samedi. Mais elle nous a proposé de nous concocter un menu sur mesure qui y ressemble & que nous apprécierions tout autant, en s'ajustant même au fait que je ne mange pas de viande. & nous n'avons pas été déçus! Que ce soit le service, la nourriture, les cocktails avec la touche japonaise! Tout y était pour passer une belle soirée !! Nous avons même eu droit à un rabais pour s'excuser de ne pas avoir pu nous offrir le menu "Montréal à table" 😀 nous y retournerons sans hésiter!
